Gravel car parking on 2 levels on edge of forest. Beer garden near by and some nice walks but nothing else. No bins. Gave it a 7 because we got a great nights sleep.

Firstly, despite the front page, this place never closes. This is our third winter at Scarabeo and during the winter the prices vary from 10euros overlooking the beach to about 8 euros further back. The pitch sizes are ample with your own toilet, some have sinks as well. Bread daily and veg 3 times a week. Enormous forest nearby for dog walking and small shop in village. Town close. Perfect.

Nice, clean and quiet parking next to social hall. Euros to park, 3 euros for electric. Did not try the pay machine for water. Bread van visits in the morning at about 9. Track near entrance through fields for walk to next village, perfect for dog walking. Talking of dogs, the electric fence next to aire is definitely LIVE!

I hate these French automated aires. The last one we used would not let us out, this one has decided not to give us water. Other campers are having to buy bottles of water at Lidl. No one to phone, they only work monday to friday, which is great as this is the Easter weekend. Otherwise it is fine as other reviews suggest providing you dont want a shower.

Positioned next to a council roads department that start work at 7am. Why sound your car horn for 1 second to be allowed in when you can sound it for 3. Lorries and tractors in and out nice and early. Trains started at 6am and there was some road noise, and we paid for this! On the plus there is a supermarket very close and a park with walks. Ok for one night I suppose.

Great site. Perfect for dogs with a walk around the pond or into the woods. Supermarket 10 minutes away. Drive right up to the post. Follow instructions on machine and pay for one/two nights. You are given a receipt with a pin no. Select a pitch. If you want electric return to machine with receipt. You are a returning customer. Do not press next, press Do not pay. It takes you to next page.Simples

Great place to stop for a couple of nights. Did not notice the sign about 8m limit, we are 8.1m and managed fine.

On the plus side the site was open when we visited and for 9 euros electricity was included. On the downside although the office and gates were open, nothing else is after 30th September. No toilets or showers so for water/chemical there is a standard service point at the entrance. There are more than 12 pitches but many of them are surrounded by low trees, if you have a large van phone ahead.

Very quiet location. Owned by a very pleasant Dutch couple. The facilities are in a converted barn, rustic but very clean. Did not try the restaurant but the food looked very nice and reasonably priced. If you have a very big camper then I advise that you phone ahead. We were on the upper terrace which was perfect but we all decided that 5.5 tonnes would not be good on the lower section.

Nice and quiet place to stay on edge of village in what appears to be a community car park. Road from motorway was twisty in places but we managed it in a 8 mtr 5T van.

Stayed here for 2 weeks in May 17. Concrete area to the front facing the beach is available all year, but there is also a large grass area behind which is available from Easter for the season. Facilities are all clean. 2 restaurants next door with the town and shops 5 minute walk away.
