After 3 weeks of trekking through the fabulous nature of Morocco, we have arrived in Marrakech. A place never to return to. The city is a tourist anthill, and the campsite was a huge disappointment after all the positive comments. What really sealed the deal was that street races were being held right near the campsite. And not just any street races, but for 3 nights straight until 4 a.m. We didn't get a wink of sleep. Fortunately, we are back on the road now.

We found this to be a real little paradise. Beautiful flat terrain, a lovely pool, a wonderful shower, a cozy restaurant, and a fantastic view. What more could one ask for???

This is a perfect place for a visit to the Blue City. However, it must be said that the sanitary facilities are really old, with little and no light in the toilets. You can take a nice, warm shower, but you do have to pick up the key at the reception for 10 Dirhams. It is easy to walk to the city; the return journey is uphill, but you can solve that with a small taxi (20 to 30 Dirhams).

A great base for visiting Fes by taxi. Order a taxi outside the campsite, otherwise you will pay way too much. Plenty of space at the campsite and you can drop off laundry to pick up the next day. And………there is a Carrefour in Fes that sells wine and beer, which you can easily visit on your way to the campsite.

If you get a good spot, the view is truly fantastic. The sanitary facilities are a bit on the old side, but clean and there is no toilet paper. The food in the restaurant was tasty, and for dessert, we got live music. Perfect place for one night with a beautiful drive to get there.

This is a really nice campsite more or less in the middle of the desert. Great pool and restaurant, and great laundry service. You drop off your dirty laundry at reception and for €6 you get it back clean the next day. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean, though perhaps a bit limited when the campsite is full. Possibility for a camel or quad tour.

We paid €10 for the night, including filling the water tank and emptying the toilet. Easy to reach on the way to Spain, very spacious, somewhat outdated sanitary facilities but super clean. Few spots with electricity, but that doesn't bother us.

We enjoyed the hospitality and the incredibly clean sanitary facilities at Molenzicht. The icing on the cake was the bike ride to Yerseke for a wonderful lunch, a “plateau fruits de mer” at Oesters en Bubbles.
