It's a decent spot to stay. Lots of trees and picnic benches. When we were there (February 27th), the water at the restroom building was turned off. So there was no way to flush the toilet cassette or get water.

The location is great for exploring the area. When we were there (February 27th), there was no water (for flushing the toilet or taking in water).

The location in the app is incorrect. The coordinates provided by Viv (reviewed July 2025) are correct. I've reported the change. We registered on the website in advance. It was easy. We received an access code by email. We entered the access code on the box next to the other gate (opposite the restaurant/bar). Then we drove to the entrance gate, which opened automatically.

At this place at the harbour you can stand fine. But to get there and leave the place again you can best ignore the prohibition signs (restricted access /limitato) on the road along the harbour quay and follow this route without hesitation. Because driving through the place itself is absolutely worthless and almost impossible with a camper. A number of low passages and very tight almost impregnable bends.

we arrived here today. unfortunately it only opens in june but the gate was open. we went to stand there. a little later they came by to ask €20.00 for a place to stand, electricity, use of shower and to empty dirty water, empty toilet and fill fresh water. perfect.

Visited this camper place on March 11, 2025. Last night the police came to the camper with the message that sleeping here was not allowed.

A great camper place. Beautiful paved pitches with a (slightly raised) patch of grass next to them. Electricity connection right on site. Excellent WiFi (strong signal). Sanitary facilities neatly maintained and spotlessly clean. Disposal space available as well for a chemical toilet. A lot of information about the area is available, including various walking and cycling routes. Friendly owners. Fair price. Perfect location directly at Drents-Friese Wold.

In itself a good camper place. Entrance via a column with your choice of Dutch language. Check-in procedure was easy. At the moment the places are quite swampy. There is WiFi, but unfortunately that is not much. Power supply and unloading area are in order. All in all, a pitch for a reasonable amount.

There is now also a power supply available. 4 connection points.

Simple but wonderfully quiet campsite. Small scale. Camper pitches are spacious, separated by low hedges. All pitches have a gravel area to place the camper, fairly flat and a grass area. Sufficient shade from trees. We were allowed to choose a place ourselves. Sanitary outdated but functional. Small pool for children. Friendly administrators. Bread can be ordered at the reception. We enjoyed the peace.

Beautiful campsite, with good sanitary facilities. There is an indoor pool with water slides, but this is mainly for children due to the shallowness of the pool. Bread can be ordered at the reception/shop. fairly spacious nicely shielded places. Well pricey. We paid 45 euros per night for a camper place including electricity (7 euros).
