Yesterday, February 25, 2024, we stood in front of the gate of this campsite in the evening and we were told from a mobile home that the campsite would not open until April, while the camper contact site stated that it is open all year round.

On 25-2-24 we arrived at the CP, we reported to the restaurant as we always did. But we were allowed to park in the parking lot for free without any facilities because it is no longer a CP. Very unfortunate because it was a nice place.

We spent the night here at the end of September. A super nice quiet place. We had only called the owner because our navigation reached the destination until the end of the paved road. So we drove back to the main road, but in front of the road is a sign of Heidebos holiday homes with the house numbers below. You drive up this concrete slab road until it turns into a forest path, then a little further you arrive at a sort of t junction and there you turn left. Then just follow the forest path and then the motorhome is on the right. Too bad it was raining and storming (wind force 10) because according to the friendly owner you have beautiful walking and cycling routes around the area of motorhome. The walking and cycling routes are ready. We will definitely come back here. For motor home owners who have a pet that cannot stand fireworks. Here it is good to stay during the New Year.

Very nice motorhome and camping. We meet several times a year to camping Den Driesch. Last weekend we went there for the Amstel Gold Race. Owners and staff are very friendly. Good and clean bathrooms. Camping and camper are well catered for. Within 500 meters you are at the foot of the Cauberg Hill, in the heart of Valkenburg. We like to come here. Really top.
