We live nearby, but come here regularly to unwind. It is a beautiful spot in the middle of the country. It is always breezy there, so it is ideal on warm days. There is a fantastic pizzeria in Pingjum that is also highly recommended (be sure to make a reservation).

More than friendly welcome! The owner helps to level the camper with blocks of wood because the site has a considerable slope. Beautiful view too! We walked through the farmlands to Robin Hood's Bay. Very touristy but definitely worth it! Sanitary facilities in good order. An absolute must as a stopover to Scotland, for example.

We stayed here for 1 night, but if it had been possible we would have wanted to stay here much longer. Wonderfully quiet, friendly atmosphere. Friendly owners. Sanitary facilities spacious and clean. Also a farm shop for eggs, meat and jam. The area is beautiful for walking and cycling. In short, highly recommended to relax.

We had such a nice time. Beautiful places. We were on the camping field, which we found more attractive than the gravel spots for campers. The weather allowed it so why not. Near the IJsselmeer with a beautiful pavilion where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks. Reception was very friendly. Sanitary facilities excellent and clean! We would love to come here again soon!

We were pleasantly surprised!! Excellent places, some even with a sea view. Very clean sanitary facilities and even a restaurant and shop that was open!! Recommended!

Wonderfully quiet place. just steps from the beach. We stayed here for 1 night, would have liked to stay longer, but we didn't have that time. 1 km away is the village with a bakery, large drugstore and supermarket.

Beautiful place! Good facilities and a very nice manager/owner who speaks perfect English. Call about 3 hours in advance. He will then send you instructions to enter via WhatsApp. We stayed here for 2 nights, the first night completely alone. Beautiful walks possible and a nice town.
