Nice area great for cycling but for solid supported electric bike or renting at the campsite it is a quiet campsite with swimming pool and playground for the children all simple but well maintained. Beautiful place to stand if you want to visit Groningen as everyone indicates. However, just want to make it clear that you can travel by bus from the transferium (located at the CP) to the city and back with 5 people on a P&R ticket of € 6, valid all day on all lines and within city limits you can just transfer so not per person but 1 ticket = valid for 5 people you go with your OV chip card then you can take 3 children up to 12 years per person throughout Groningen and drenthe. This makes it interesting to visit the surrounding places and attractions by bus

Place easy to find but very busy usually no official place more free other places are blindly allowed. Bicycle path next to the car park in the direction of Vlaardingen and the new construction of the Blankenburg tunnel if you follow this you will also enter the nature reserve and you can take the floating nature trail.
