Handy stopover when traveling south with a large RV. Quiet night had with distant traffic noise but fine for us. Town centre is a short walk away past a Dia supermarket. Would use again

I have to congratulate Phodetheus for manoeuvring his 11m RV in to the end space here. We arrived on the strength of that with our 12/13m RV but realised it was impossible if the surrounding bays are occupied as they were unfortunately. Parking outside on the huge unused (but marked out) car park was also not an option due to the ‘No Autocaravanas’ sign. Pity that, so we patronised another town

Arrived here mid November 2018 to find sadly that the restaurant is permanently closed due to retirement. The parking facility is still available and well signposted but no facilities other than recycling bins

Sloping mixed parking at swimming baths. Busy with cars during the day but very quiet at night. Town is very pleasant with plenty shops and major supermarkets. No water in early October but it still took my €1.00. Lekky is €1.00 for approx 1hr use for us. Lovely walk to Sorpesee from the rear of the site. Definitely use again

Been coming to the site (former CL) for several years and have enjoyed a warm welcome to go with the beautiful views. Sloping spacious grass site so levelling required. Spring water and black/grey disposal available. Excellent walking opportunities direct from the site to nearby Cromford, Matlock, Tansley and Holloway. Two pubs in walking distance either way. Peace & tranquility await you!

New aire in early stages of development with free services. Nice town worth a walk to but superb walking opportunities can be had directly from the site in to the surrounding stunning hills. Access road is a dusty unmade road thats used regularly by locals. Quiet at night. Space for 6 vans or park on the wide adjacent road next to football ground

Unfortunately the imprisoned dog in the corner compound has now become a REAL nocturnal problem😞 It’s almost continual barking will grind you down through lack of sleep. A real pity this as the village and surrounding area is so nice and perfect for walking opportunities. Petty motorhome disputes with deliberate marking out of unnecessary extended boundaries spoils the friendly atmosphere here

Arrived here at lunchtime on a weekday to find both parking areas rammed full of vans. Some clearly have not moved for weeks. Water at the services is switched off but folk are using a damaged ground level water pipe. Services are at the far end of an enclosed area so access is poor. What people find appealing about this type of environment beats me! Move on guys, use Aires sensibly!

Very good parking opportunity to visit nearby Murcia on the tram or just the abundance of local chain stores. Services work well at entry to designated MH parking area. Road noise both day and night but no issues sleeping. Tram stop at 500m. €1.40 single in to the city.

Arrived on a Spanish holiday so no menu Del Dia. We ate off the normal menu that was tasty but overpriced for what little we got. Many motorhomes here outstaying their welcome we feel as only us in the restaurant that lunchtime🤔. Staff are friendly but locality is a ghost town in mid Dec. No Spanish motorhomes here either on a national holiday🤔 Barking dogs throughout the night😞

Lovely peaceful parking spot at the Riu Ebre. Open level gravel mixed parking with just a few vans here in early Dec 17. Bins but no other facilities (see alternative Aire nearby on CC) Several bars/restaurants both sides of the river bridge. There’s a wealth of cycling/walking to be had here or simply sit in your sunshine lit van and enjoy the view of the river! Supermarkets a plenty in the town.

Used this Aire for an unscheduled overnight stop with no issues in early Dec 17. Away from the coast so expect below 0* C at night! Very handy for the town with numerous shops/bars/restaurants. Other vehicles use this area but quiet in evening/overnight on this occasion. Next time we would use the nearby parking at the monastery. Services require tokens.

Lunchtime stop here with plenty of room in mid November. 2 small dedicated bays for MHs but ample mixed parking on gravel also. Services are card operated with easy access. Road noise but shouldn’t be an issue overnight.

Very quiet (at cemetery 🙂) spot on edge of small village. No facilities so just OK for an overnight stopover. Village deserted in evening with just the empty restaurant open. Levelling blocks required but would use again

Really quiet free overnight halt for us using an evening Dover-Calais crossing. Rubbish bin provided. Level grass parking with tarmac circular access road. It’s just somewhere to hole up before or after a crossing but its possible to have a pleasant walk along the watersports complex pathways. Would use again

Nice alternative to the other aire in Marcoing (23454). Very quiet both day & night situated overlooking small water basin. Some cars associated with fishermen/walkers but no issues. No facilities but this is on hand at the other aire 500m away.

Conveniently located camper service area at Shell garage. It’s the end wash bay. Fresh water is available from hose in steel cabinet and paid for via pressure washer selection control box. €2.00 will fill a large camper. Cabinet may be locked so key available at garage cashier. I used the pressure washing facilities and found them to be of inadequate pressure to do a good job really.

Plenty of room on mixed parking area close to town. Our stay in late October for 1 night was very quiet. Town is really nice and well kept. Plenty shops & bars/restaurants. Utrecht is well worth a visit if you have a scooter.

4 wide bays reserved for MHs on tarmac in corner of sports ground mixed parking. Quiet overnight and illuminated. Town is short walk away with supermarket and several shops. Ideal stopover and would use again.

Small secluded CP with some long bays on edge of town. A little unkempt we thought but a good quiet overnight stop for us. It’s functional and does the job with services and a good supermarket just 100m away. The town is OK with the Altstadt it’s main feature. Would use again as an overnight stop.

Very quiet CP with 3 long dedicated bays next to athletics track. Possible to park adjacent in mixed car park which is empty at night. Good services on way in and electric available via 4 outlets at 50 cent per kWh. Town is nice and worth a walk to.Would use again.

Excellent free CP located at side of mixed parking area in front of stadthalle. Dedicated large bays with electric at €1.00 for 10 hrs. €1.00 for approx 100 l water. Friendly village with plenty of walking available in nearby woods. Local friendly tourist rep called on us on second day for a chat. Would definitely use again.

Dedicated level tarmac parking area with 4 long bays in corner of mixed parking. Views directly of the river and quiet overnight. Perfect for us with our trailer. Marktbreit is a short walk away back over the bridge and well worth the visit. No facilities and restricted stay of 1 day but that suited us fine as passing through.

Excellent Stellplatz with good facilities inc electric at €1.00 per kWh. Some light industrial works in vicinity but not noisy so quiet and peaceful during night. Views over countryside and a lovely town close by well worth a visit to. The river walks/cycling are well signed and a joy to do! Will definitely stay here again.

Really nice spot for an overnight stay on gravel/grit. Busy and noisy road nearby but peaceful at night. No facilities but a good spot to go walking from as there are numerous well marked trails in the vicinity. Would use again

We arrived here unplanned after dark and did not use the adjacent restaurant. It’s a large open parking area next to a beautiful church which chimes throughout the night but slept fine to be honest. We would definitely come again and use what looks like a really nice restaurant. Parking area is elevated up the road to the left of the Firehouse.

All that glitters is not gold! A really convenient and large dedicated area for MHs spoiled by Czech & Polish van entrepreneurs coming and going all day bringing bric a brac (The junk left out by residents for council collection). The bay next to us filled up with tyres, old mattresses..etc and the guys were banging around sorting through it till well after dark. We had to leave as not peaceful

Superb spot right next to harbour/waterfront with several adjacent freshwater taps. Can be exposed a little but lovely views all on plenty of hard standing. The cafe at the entrance is friendly and serves good inexpensive food. A really pleasant quiet place to stay (midweek in late March)

This is a large open flat parking area adjacent to a large cafe/restaurant (which has its own car park) 200m back from the busy EN4 highway. Ideal one night stopover with good facilities inc drive over drain. Beware it is also an LGV overnight parking area and they start to arrive late afternoon so park sensibly. Quiet overnight though

Spacious flat parking area with good services. 2nd Friday of each month reserved for a market. Short walk in to town with nice restaurants and WiFi available at first bar/restaurant. Excellent pizzas at the corner pizzaria. Local beach is a fair walk away but beautiful with beachside bar. The 'well stocked' mini market is in the village centre not the one with directions from the site

This site is only really suitable for smaller vans. Most pitches are occupied by long term caravans so any touring pitches are confined to a small unkempt grassy area. Beware the road up from Covilha is very steep with narrow bends! No washing machines so did not stay I'm afraid. No English spoken and site far too difficult to negotiate with a large motorhome. Can't comment on other facilities

We came here purely to sample the restaurant food & were not disappointed. We both had enormous succulent veal steaks, part of a 3 course meal inc wine & coffee for €14.00 each. Overnight parking is at rear of restaurant in a lovely spot next to the river, much of it on hardstanding. No facilities as such but were advised where we could dump toilet waste.Friendly staff & a warm welcome. Free WiFi

Second stay here for us and just as pleasant as the first. It's a beautiful spot directly above the beach with a stunning view. Stayed midweek in mid March and nicely quiet overnight (the crashing waves are soporific and will send you off to sleep!) The place to shoot the setting sun. The cycle ride to nearby Cascais is very nice as is the town itself.

Excellent quiet dedicated site adjacent to very friendly restaurant. Site is level on mix of gravel & grass & run by Autocaravanas Association. Proper service area with just €1.00 to pay should you want electric. (Ask in cafe to be connected) Prato do Dia is €7.00 for 3 course inc wine & coffee. Very nice walking & cycling area. Stayed 3 nights & will come again. Free strong WiFi at cafe

This is a small mixed parking area for use by visitors to the cycle/walking track. We parked overnight at the end with another camper but space is limited particularly at weekends. The cycle route is superb and over good terrain. Cafe along the route (about 16km).

Nice pleasant spot next to the barragem. Services available inc toilets on designated motorhome aire with hard standing. We parked down the sloping access track right next to the water for 2 quiet nights. Lots of marked walks available and 'rustic' cafe/bar a short walk up the road. Very quiet out of season and would visit again.

Very nice quiet spot in mid March overnight. Not too many day visitors with plenty parking for all. Car park is sand/grit which can get quite soggy in places if it rains but still stable.WC was closed but bins available. The walk to the 'dinosaur footprints' is worthwhile amidst the beautiful scenery as is the church itself. Excellent base for walking & cycling

Superb site with lovely outlook atop a quiet but quaint village with shops. Site is next to tiered boules pitches providing evening entertainment 😀Nice stroll down in to village with boulangerie, boucherie, small supermarket and a couple of bars/restaurants. Max stay is 4 nights with free electric (donations can be made for this via the Marie) Beautiful countryside surrounds this Aire.

Main car park is adjacent to Basilica church with coaches occupying 'best' spaces during day, so parked easily on wide access road further down. Quiet overnight parking. Several cafes with WiFi available. No services. This is mixed parking at a busy Religious Attraction. Good for an overnight stop.

Excellent well laid out CP with 9 designated bays, two of which are double length, separated by tall hedges. €12.00 pn for van & 2 adults inc electric. Double gated entry with keys provided. Bus stop to Porto close by @ €2.10 pp single. Wise to email or ring site first as reservations are taken. We had 1 of just two pitches left in late March. WiFi only in reception. Free entry to Nature Park inc.

A really nice aire with facilities in a peaceful location. BUT beware! The long very steep hill (only access) has a 3.5t limit and narrow in places. I estimate it to be 20% and is really unsuitable for bigger campers. We were lucky to get back up. Definitely park up in the village and check before going down. The cycle route is superb and we stayed at the parking area at the other end of the route

OK as a lunch/service stop but wouldn’t fancy it here overnight due to adjacent busy road. The fresh water dispenser gives a lot less than the 80ltr stated for your €1.00. No drive over grey waste.

Used this CP as a service stop. Water filling nozzle leaks badly and is slow so beware wet trousers! Cars park close to and on the 2 dedicated MH bays. Otherwise everything else looked OK so would stay overnight if needed to

Nice parking place for Max 5 campers (sign) but odd as there’s so much space available. Lots of cars can arrive en masse though for restaurant events. MH parking on grass in far end of car park. No facilities but a good spot to go walking/cycling in the adjacent Reichwald. Very quiet pleasant spot both day & night

Excellent facility next to popular Brauhaus where both the beers and cuisine are first class. €10.00 deposit required for access key to unlimited electric. Level ample gravel parking available. Service area (free) at rear corner of adjacent warehouse. The town is also worth a walk with further restaurants/shops. Museum & beer purchasing available. Some motorway noise audible but not an issue

Large open dedicated area for MH parking next to woods. Grass/gravel with no facilities except bins. Very quiet and highly suitable for walking/cycling. Cycle route around whole of Mohnesee close by near restaurant. Popular area at weekends.

Quiet spot with plenty of room for an overnight rest. A wander in to the village proved disappointing with just one deserted bar open, a handy Casino shop open and two pizza takeaways (one of which couldn't serve us at their tables due to telephone orders😕) We didn't see any restaurants. The aire is fine though and functional with free facilities.

Beautiful location next to dam and small helipad with lovely views. Very quiet night. Nearby pizza/tapa bar (not noisy) has friendly staff and runs a kayak hire business. No services apart from bins. Great peaceful location

A friendly small secluded (& isolated) site newly laid out. The shower/toilet block is excellent. Several potable water taps and plenty of electrical hook up points. It's new and some fine tuning needs to be done. Separate tap needed for cassette cleaning. Too many pitches make it cramped. A thorough weeding is desperately required. Use of crushed ceramic tiles/builders rubble as base not pretty

Pleasant peaceful site run by very friendly owners. Only us here in late April so very quiet. Ideal for a break away from the busy sites down on the coast. Site is very new so facilities will no doubt be fine tuned as time goes on but what they've done so far is really good inc an excellent sanitary building👍Hot showers are superb and hook up available. Tel No to ring (on app too) if no one there

Very nice clean town with plenty bars/shops. CP is a newly created flat mixed parking area with dedicated MH spaces. Separate servicing area but water was shut off at time of visit for some reason. Good for an overnight stop

Excellent flat serviced aire adjacent to long stony beaches. Superb authentic beach front restaurants/bars serving very good tapas/meals in nearby Puntas de Calnegre. €6.00 for overnight stay. Sign says site for overnight users only so guess drive by servicing not now available and no coin box on wall to pay. 10 min easy walk to village

Big flat open parking area on edge of sleepy village that has a very well stocked mini market. Services are good and well thought out. Superb area for circular walks amongst hills and lemon groves.Panoramic views abound. Quiet aire both night & day and lots of room for any size van/RV. Felt very safe and welcoming during our stay here. Definitely return...

Really convenient aire in grounds of motorhome dealer. €10.00 pn inc electricity on tarmac. Ideal to visit Seville by scooter. 24hr security via manned gate. Excellent well stocked spares & accessory shop on site managed by multilingual Dutch guy who was helpful to us. Good free wifi, MH washing facility and usual services available. Stayed several times here and will stay again👍

Nice secure parking area next to waterway of El Puerto de Santa Maria, a nice town in itself. Level parking on big mixed parking area with plenty of room. €6.00 daytime guarded security. Catamaran close by at €2.65 single trip over to Cadiz. 20 min journey to heart of Cadiz with regular sailings. No facilities on site other than bins but well illuminated. Traffic noise early morning but no issue.

Nice site let down by awful on site management policy. We & our friends both had our 2 weeks Xmas reservations here cancelled 5 days before arrival date due to 'people already here deciding they want now to stay for Xmas'. We booked in June and confirmed by the site a week before arrival. 2000km journey with reservations to a site that gave them to passing Motorhomers originally bound elsewhere!😡

Well laid out spacious CP. Quiet at night with barrier/cc entry system. The services are outside the entrance and the ticket/code machine can be temperamental. £2.00 for water via coded ticket. Male/male adapter required for fill up. Launderette next door. No electricity but just £4.00 pn in November

Open level mixed parking at church. Nearby road & train noise but quiet at night. No facilities but easy walk in to town & shoreline. Simple free stopover. Good supermarket (Coop) in town with variety of shops/cafes. Would use again

Modern well laid out CP with facilities. Card entry system €10.00 for 24hrs + €5.00 deposit. Launderette just up the road in pleasant village with good variety of small shops & Coop. Quiet at night. Showers were OK (but not hot enough). Cassette emptying point blocked on our visit (test drainage ability first) Otherwise a good stopover.

No services apart from a glass recycling bin but a great quiet place for a couple of nights. The view is beautiful. Village has usual wine tasting shops/cafes/restaurants and a small Coop supermarket close by back down the approach road. (Servicing can be done FOC at Greve a few kms away)

Nice well laid out CP. Pleasant park area at base of site on grass if you prefer that to the upper hardstanding parking. Electric supply is low at around 4 amp I guess so only good for battery charging. Second time here and good base to visit Lake Garda on a scooter. Some restrictive rules regarding servicing times of your MH so check the extensive flysheet given to you on arrival. Quiet site

An overnight stop next to a park. Dedicated area for 5 vans with all services free inc electric. The road noise is substantial so not a relaxing place to be. The twilight hours are OK so you should get some sleep

Excellent stopover limited to 48hrs max. At edge of small quiet village in midst of vineyards. Drinking water tap available nearby at side of church. Superb canal side cycle path close by that runs from Trento to Verona. Limited passing local traffic but quiet at night with lovely views

Large level stellplatz suitable for all size MHs. €10 per 24hr payable at machine. €1 for 1.4kwh electric. Quiet at night but those church bells will wake you very early! Aldi in town at 10 min walk. It's full (50 vans) late afternoon so get here early. Services are free and outside the parking area.

Functional stopover stellplatz with short bays but a few have grass at the rear to accommodate larger vans. Next to open air pool and sports hall/football pitches. Electric available on 1€ coin bollards.

Large open mixed parking area close to the Vulcan Brauhaus which is well worth a visit. Mostly used by MH's but also by local football ground so can fill with cars. Services worked OK. Quiet at night. Town is nothing special.

Lovely aire situated on the waterways in a very nice town with plenty of shops/cafes. Hard standing available but ability also to park nearby on grass/gravel which is quieter and more roomy. No facilities but an excellent stopover.

Ideally located for visits to both Sedgefield & Durham. CL is at the rear of the farm and has hard standings with serviced pitches. We stayed on the 'Rally Field' nearer to the main road so was subject to traffic noise which didn't bother us. These have a water tap & electricity too and are slightly cheaper at £11.00 p/n. Lots of nice pubs in Sedgefield and some quality boutique shops too

Lovely aire that we've used several times. Nicely located up the hill on the outskirts of the village next to two boules pitches. Free electric for which you are encouraged to make a donation towards. Village is quite nice with two butchers (a famous cattle market village) and a nice boulangerie (with odd opening hours) that does tasty pizzas on Fri & Sun evenings. Facilities are basic but OK

As an overnight stay it's perfect but the main reason for parking here should be to use the excellent voie verte that runs past it. Superb easy cycling both ways with a nice cafe/beer stop in the direction of Cluny👍The town is pleasant enough but a fair walk from the aire. Some bars/restaurants. Water at the borne not available.

Nice quiet location next to the beautiful river in a quaint village. Aire is quite cramped with few parking opportunities but doable. Jetons available from boulangerie in centre but the borne didn't accept ours! Mini market available on outskirts of village. Nice old chateau with pleasant walks close by

Excellent aire located nicely out of town at the Salle De Fetes. Big space suitable for larger vans/trailers. Jeton required (3/3) for services available we think at the mini market in the village but were given one free by a kind Motorhomer. Friendly locals made this a pleasant stop next to the river. Village is uninteresting with few shops. Would use again.

No services here but a very pleasant overnight stop next to the lake. 3 wide bays but on our stay two were doubled up with vans. Quiet overnight and nice village close by. There's a supermarket in the village of La Maison Bleu which also has fuel.

Big open aire suitable for larger Motorhomes/trailers. Uninteresting town really with very little open in late July. Services are OK but risk of cross contamination from the single tap. Electric at night doesn't work on all sockets!.Mini market in next village if no joy in This one. Would use again as spacious and quiet

Our stay was in July 2016 so the main car park usually used by vans was full of day trippers visiting the excellent leisure pool complex next to the lake. Huge grassy area behind this car park in use by 20 vans with room for many more. Next to a small river which was great for cooling off in during the summer heat. No facility for cassette dumping but free water & grey drain. Dustbins provided too

Nice level aire on grit/gravel and would suit larger vans. Fills up in summer months but ability to park up next door with ample room. Facilities are free and work fine. Just out of large town but we found it a little uninteresting. Nicer aire located at Lunas nearby. Our overnight stay was quiet enough and would come again though. Perhaps the 35 degree heat had its part to play!😅

Very quiet aire on edge of lovely village with essential shops. Open level parking on grit so suitable for larger motor homes/trailers. Boulangerie & bar opposite each other in village both worth a visit with friendly owners. Close to motorway and peaceful. Stayed for two days and will use again

Another pleasant stay at this lovely Aire overlooking Morella. This time in hot summer with fully working facilities. A note about the access road..The access slope is not too steep but has loose gravel. We have a front wheel drive auto motorhome pulling a 1 tonne trailer, total 5.5 t. No problems if you run it fixed in 2nd gear and accend quickly. Also possible to exit Aire via 'no through road'

Good for an overnight stop and of course to purchase some of those quality wines! Village is uninteresting with very few shops. We found just the one bar at the communal swimming pool. A quiet night but the parking area is at the winery so expect associated noise during the day and early morning. Good facilities.

Easy 10 for this gem of a camper stop. Relaxed friendly hosts (English Spoken) welcome you to their lovely B & B providing home. Secure, private with super facilities. Large pool in our 3 week stay was a massive bonus in the heat of June. €12.00 inc electric, super shower, use of pool & dish washing facilities. Washer/dryer and weekly get together tasty meal. Just 4 pitches so perhaps ring ahead.

Superb clean, well laid out camper park. BUT BEWARE!. Late at night the town's Disco pumped out its loud music. This continued constantly throughout the night with shouting and whistles blown until a staggering 0830hrs! So NO sleep!. On arrival we were assured we would have a quiet night. A real pity as we wanted to stay a week but obviously had to leave, exhausted...

Just us and one other van here in early June so had the choice of pitches. Site is well run with 6amp hook up if needed. Honesty box at shower block if owner is not present. There's a municipal pool nearby we learned late on which would have been a welcome break from the 30 degs heat! Local restaurant 'La Rata' serves a 4 course tasty lunchtime meal with a bottle of wine for 2 & coffee for €11.00

As previous the spot is superb. Stayed midweek and the night was quiet. Suspect the nearby bars will be noisy at weekends! Bread man toots at 8.30 am.Beware the service arrangements. We saw guys using the fresh water hose to rinse their cassettes. The price on 1 June was €10.00 without electricity. WiFi freely available at local bars/cafes which offer value for money tapas with drinks.

Would give an eleven if we could. Genuinely friendly staff on a gem of a site. Well done guys! Site is immaculate with much thought given to what motorhomers actually need. Parked our trailer on seperate secure section within site. Ability to wash van for €3.00. Fresh bread, croissants available in handy little shop. Superb strong free WiFi. Very quiet and so close to the beach too.

Site is ideally located to visit the lovely town of VRSA. That's it really. Unkempt and scruffy site next to Guadiana river with facilities as stated. You pay for electricity in 12 hr units with the supply turned off at 8.00am & 8pm. Both wardens we saw were polite and friendly. Town is excellent for linen purchases. Site was reasonably quiet at night. WiFi is hit and miss.

Nice Aire with choice of 2 areas to park in. One flat, one elevated. Lots of extras inc cheap washing machine (no dryer) & small pool in season. Very friendly Dutch owner gives site a welcoming feel. Handy to visit Estremoz & Vila Vicosa. €10.00 pn for van >7m. €3.00 for electric. Bread service & excellent WiFi throughout the site. Road noise during day but quiet at night. Will return

Superb dedicated motorhome parking area in large multi use compound (Exhibition & concert venue). Completely deserted during our 2 night ultra quiet stay. Access door slides but is not locked. Water & free electric to each pitch. Very suitable for large vans/trailers. Town is pleasant, friendly with all amenities.

Ideally located for a visit to the town. There are so many cafes here many offering free WiFi and inexpensive fayre. Several supermarkets & restaurants. Functional campsite for visiting Lisbon. That's it I'm afraid. The pitches for vans are situated right next to a Very busy road. Lots of aircraft noise until midnight. Some spaces for smaller vans round corner on site but not much better. Several bus stops nearby for Lisbon but it's a long way and feel that Campsite Lisboa over in Lisbon is better situated. Friendly reception though & hot showers

Quiet campsite in March 2016. Friendly staff charged €15.30 per night for ACSI discounted MH & trailer & electric. 10% discount for 3 or more nights.Showers are clean but dated and take ages to run acceptable hot water. Washing machines available at €3.50 a go. Some tight turns on site so be careful! WiFi is woeful but free and strongest at reception. Town is lovely and well worth a visit

Convenient aire on edge of old medieval town. All facilities free inc electric. Suffers from road noise during the day but quiet at night. Short walk in to historic village with numerous cafes/restaurants/bars and some quality shops.

Conveniently located site close to German border. Friendly owners/staff. On site restaurant serves good value decent food and is always busy. Some nice walks direct from the site. Motorhome facilities could be easier but site is clean and friendly

Friendly owner. We had a nice meal here but choice was limited. No speisekarte so no idea of costings. There is a small separate stellplatz close by with parking for 6 vans and a view of countryside. Good stopover.

Just a six rating as there are no facilities but this is nevertheless a good stopover location and would use again. Plenty of space for larger motorhomes/trailers in a dedicated area however we arrived on a Sunday afternoon when it was almost empty. The mixed parking area was almost full next morning with cars using motorhome space, town day workers probably. Quiet at night and town has cafes/bars

Did not feel welcome here. Guy in charge not friendly at all. Nice town to walk around with shops/cafes but site suffers train noise all day and through the night from adjacent station. Pitches next to river are limited. Waste water dumping involves lifting the sanitary ground lid if you dare! Will not return here

The nine rating is for the adjacent campsite with same owners. Stellplatz is good but limited to 1 nights stay so stayed 2 nights on the superb site behind it. The sanitary blocks are first class and receptionists very friendly. Much local info & discount voucher given. All facilities are inc for both sites. Electric extra. Washer/Dryer & Drying room available. Restaurant at entrance. Lovely stay.

Large stellplatz on terrace overlooking larger mixed parking below. 12m long bays and electric via bollards at €1.00 for 12hrs. Quiet during the night but cars skidding/music can be easily heard from above in the evening. Town is quite nice with cafes/bars and it's a nice easy ride along the river on dedicated cycle paths

Excellent very reasonably priced campsite inside an interesting friendly town. Concrete/grass tiles with serviced unmarked pitches. The showers are first class, always hot & strong. Only one washer/dryer but great value at €2.50. WiFi is free and covers most of the site but is quite weak at times. We've used this site many times and at €10.50 inc full electric it's super value

Very nice stellplatz in a beautiful area. Just out of town and easy walk to shops/cafes. Third visit here. Washing machine/dryer is a new welcome addition at €1.00 per hour. WiFi is free and strong. Great for walking/cycling. €10.00 p/n & €2.00 for electric

Really nice location and so close to the Gib border. The Marina surroundings are very pleasant and quiet and a welcome relief from the hustle of downtown Gibraltar. 2 nights cost us €18.00 just before Christmas so given it also has services and is patrolled regularly this is good value we think. Laundry facilities now available on site with toilets too. Manned barrier entry. 2nd stay here for us.

Genuinely nice owner (Manuel) who is very friendly, helpful and organised a group walk in the hills during our 2 night stay. Site is smart, clean and well organised. Separate area for parking trailers at no extra cost. Big area adjacent to main CP that Manuel welcomes RVs to but as yet without electricity. He would be OK we think with sensible use of generators. Site does suffer from road noise.

An exceptionally good site with superb facilities. Indoor pool & spa at extra cost. 3 nights in camper in mid December costs €23.30 per night inc water/waste (without ACSI card). 5 immaculately kept sanitary blocks. Mini supermarket/restaurant/cafe/bar/kids rooms. Friendly staff. Only drawback is constant road noise from adjacent motorway. Quieter in night. Smallest size pitches are very big.

Super friendly secure site. Owner is all smiles and very helpful. Metro tickets available at reception. Station is 5 mins walk away. 2 choices of water to fill up. Cheap drinking water via coins or free recycled water (after boiling still tasted odd). Map for Valencia given and advice on getting there. Very nice cafe on site with some excellent homemade cakes a must to try! Will use again for sure

Great for an overnight stop if you intend to visit the restaurant. Beware water/waste disposal is extra to the €8.00 parking fee as is electric. These are operated on a 'key for servicing' basis when you can find the owner. If you spend good money in the restaurant as we did (€55.00) I feel servicing should be free. Unable to empty grey water as drain locked. Staff are friendly and food was good.

Great overnight stop. Ideal for visiting Barcelona either by train (station just 5 mins walk) or by scooter which we did both of having stayed 2 nights midweek. Really quiet at night. It's mixed parking with 6 bays for motorhomes but park where you like. Patrolled by local police. Beware the car park fills to capacity twice a day for an hour based around the local school opening/closing times.

Excellent stopover location and free to guests. Large car park adjacent to restaurant. Quiet at night and servicing of van available. The lunchtime buffet menu is superb value at €9.50 each incl a half litre of wine p/p with many choices of food. Owner is a motorhomer himself and speaks good English. Supermarket nearby in village. Will definitely come here again.

Superb site with 4 tiered level parking areas. Services are good and ability to wash your van if you want to. Daily bread service and excellent strong free WiFi. Well lit and barriered. Next to busy road with daytime noise but nights are really quiet. The site access road is quite steep and will test your wheel grip! Larger vans/trailers suited to lower tier only with due care. Town is really nice

Excellent tucked away site with campsite feel. Grass & Hardstanding available on barriered site. Good WiFi & full electric. Beziers is 12km away with two supermarkets en route. Intermarche (closest) has laundry facilities. Very quiet nights.

Services out of order (fresh water) when we stayed overnight on 23.11.15. It's a nice location and quiet overnight but has adjacent road noise during the day. Plenty of room for longer vans/trailers. Guess this is a really good summer venue.

Nice quiet stopover for us en route across the med to Spain. Large, mostly level parking area suitable for longer vans/trailers. Services working fine and located in adjacent area.

Yes it's a busy car park and through road during the day but surprisingly quiet at night. Autostrada is next door but much lower so noise is acceptable. Sat nav for us was bad, so after exiting Autostrada toll booth take immediate right. As a one night stopover it's fine. Some pleasant bars/cafes down in the town worth the steep walk down to. Services did look poor but did not need them.

Nice surprisingly quiet site (Mid Nov) perfectly located to explore Monaco & San Remo either way. We did this on a scooter but there's a regular bus service. Owner & Son very pleasant & spoke good English. Service facilities not brilliant but functional. Coin operated showers if you fancy the long walk. Excellent supermarket just 50m along main road. Summer games room,BBQ area & nice bar in season

We stayed here to enable us to visit Lucca on our scooter given the history of break-ins at the Lucca aire. Glad we did. Quiet overnight with all facilities working & free electric. Some local shops/cafes.

Ideal for visiting Pisa. Just a short walk to both town & river. The tower is not far either. We were concerned a little given the history of motorhome break-ins here but stayed for one night almost alone in mid Nov with no issues thankfully. Friendly Guardian is on site that has barrier until at least 7pm. Electric is only 500w and costs €3.00. Extra €3.00 for trailer. Cameras & good lighting.

Stayed one night here and it was quiet although lots of road noise till 11pm. On 14.11.15 could not get on designated motorhome parking area as it was full of Italian vans with no activity. Several others parked up in adjacent mixed parking where we had to park. Water taps marked as unsuitable for drinking. OK for an overnight stop

Most of this area was taken up with cars on 14.11.15, but we found a spot and visited the old town up the hill nearby. Services all working OK. Did not stay overnight, but looked to be a reasonably calm spot

On arrival all the dedicated motorhome parking was taken up with cars. Very annoying as we drove a long way to use this as a base to visit Lucca & Pisa. Here on 14 Nov 2015

Called here with intention of stopping overnight but didn't . Too much road noise for us. Facilities in a poor state. Access to site is precarious due to poor road conditions and camber. We were almost hit by the ubiquitous speeding car on our careful exit. Stayed on far nicer sostas in Tuscany.

Perfect quiet overnight stop for visiting beautiful San Marino. Plenty Level Hardstanding available. Services basic but work. Short but quite steep walk to cable car. Dogs can ride cable car but must be muzzled. Essential to ride up on cable car but nice walk down at end of day with care as its steep. Follow signs for P13. Felt safe overnight on our own

Quiet overnight but lots of passing traffic en route to nearby sports park. Area was quite scruffy with litter thrown from cars that pull in to here after dark. Services are basic & inc free electric

Absolutely superb dedicated Aire just down from the old town. Very new with all services free inc electric. BBQ area with picnic tables. Max allowed stay is 48hrs. Short walk to two small supermarkets

Arrived here mid Nov to find several caravans, motorhomes and cars occupying most of the spaces. They looked like they were living there long term. Did not feel right so we did not stay.

A nice quiet overnight stop. Nothing special locally. You can hear the nearby Autostrada but is not a problem at night. Hardstanding with good facilities.

Huge parking area just down from holiday village that has a few restaurants/cafes. We stayed 2 nights early Nov and it was super quiet all day & night. No facilities apart from bins. It slopes but there's a nice flat area on the bottom edge.The cable car takes you up to a stunningly beautiful area at the observatory that's great for walking. Long way by road if you choose to drive it but worth it!

Really nice place for a quiet night. Lovely views from its elevated position in a large parking area. The Basilica is lovely both inside and out. Adjacent cafe for a nice morning coffee. Only ones here in early November but would think religious festivals or weekends would attract more locals. Plenty of parking though. Small supermarket at junction of main road down the hill with local produce

Panoramic view from this convenient large parking area of The Latina valley down to the sea beyond. Village is a short walk and is very pretty with cafes/restaurants. All cobbles and steep so sensible shoes! Be sure to approach village via main bus route NOT the road up the back of the hill signposted max 3.5T. It's far too steep and narrow with hairpins & no turning.(default sat nav route!).

Friendly owners who give advice on Rome tickets..etc. Limited English spoken. Gave us lift in to town up an otherwise very long steep climb. Town is quite scruffy and dirty. It's 1hr to Rome by train. Told side gate is kept unlocked for after hours access but had to climb high barrier to get back in. Shared parking with minibuses so early morning noise. Would stay nearer to Rome in future

Nice quiet location in well laid out area. Approx 4km from Civita which is worth visiting. We did this on our scooter but it may be possible to go by bus to nearby Bagnoreggio and then on to Civita. Lubriano itself is uninspiring but has stunning views over to Civita. €5.00 for site inc electric was good value. Barrier entry, pay at small cafe/bar on site.

Nice big open parking area for motorhomes. Level with a large concrete area. Short walk down in to lovely historic town with beautiful views. Quiet and relaxing. Services were OK and free. Great to sit outside the little bar off the main road at the entrance to old town and watch the world go by. Two good nights stay here

Nicely laid out dedicated site with free electric. Lovely views and very convenient for the quaint old village. Launderette and super little grocery shop next to each other nearby. Beware the jct of the access road as it has a severe camber downhill and lifted front axle of my trailer 300mm off the ground! Better access from southerly direction. Road overlooks site and can be noisy. Quiet at night

Here in late October.Renovated mixed parking just below lovely small hilltop village. Stunning views over to Siena and village has a few restaurants. Quiet overnight. Toilets/water available. Ideal for an overnight stop.

Shared with with a few buses but no issues and not on a bus route, purely overnight parking. Can recommend wine tasting at Enoteca Falorni in town, a unique experience. Great walking opportunities in surrounding hills

More than ideal to visit the city as its a 2km walk down to the Pont de Vecchio. Lots of road noise but not too bad during the night. Beware the tight entrance particularly beyond the entrance barrier. We just managed it in a 8m van towing a 4 narrower trailer. Be careful with a tag axle! Exit is no problem.Services working OK. Good place to securely leave your van and enjoy Florence

Never found showers even after being directed (and it's a long way from the CP anyway having to pass in front of restaurant entrance) Cycle routes are very few and not connected so end up on busy roads.

Aire is spacious and hardstanding throughout. Good facilities with free 4amp electric. Short walk in to interesting walled town.€5.00 for 24hrs. Busy nearby road but quiet at night. There's a good launderette 2km away @ jct Via del Commercio/Viale della Vittoria, south of Soave back over Autostrada (next to Lidl)

Rarely give a 10. This site deserves it as the staff are friendly and it's perfectly located for the Vaporetti to Venice. Down a private drive you have two nice areas to park in. We chose the end grassy pitches which gave a campsite feel with tranquility day & night. Barrier controlled, good lighting and many electric/water points. Toilets had paper! Al Bacaro restaurant nearby serves great food.

Be careful when coming here. On arrival you must phone the owner to be let through the gates. She responded quickly enough but we were told we could not stay for some reason that weekend. Rather annoying as it was then an 80km drive to another suitable CP for the next two nights. The number we rang was 3479831010.

Really pleasant location for an overnight stop. We arrived mid afternoon and enjoyed a walk around the tree lined gardens of the nearby 'villa'. There is a nice cafe/bistro in the grounds. Services are very basic but OK. No signed camper parking but we stayed alone in a large parking area with lighting near the service facility. Some light traffic noise during the day but super quiet at night

Excellent service facilities. CP is spacious enough but quite noisy both during the day and sometimes in the night. This was due to a little road noise, some house renovation nearby and the ubiquitous barking dog. Old town is short walk uphill. The Earthquake gallery is worth a visit

This stellplatz although noisy with road traffic most of the day is actually quiet at night when it counts. It's just 1 km from the beautiful Altstadt and a nice walk along the riverside. Just dustbin & electric available on a dedicated site amongst trees. Fees collected evening/morning. €10 stay, €3 electric. Perfect for visiting Dresden

Ultra quiet stellplatz located at far end of small village on private land. Grassy with some hardstanding. Lots of cycle paths locally that follow the shorelines of several large lakes. Shower/toilet available.

Lovely stellplatz located at rear of Guesthouse/restaurant on large grassy enclosed area. 2nd visit here as Jorg is a great host and the cuisine is excellent. Spotless Shower/toilet and electric/water is included. WiFi in restaurant. Some good cycling to be had locally. Isolated but nice for a few days break. Quiet peaceful location

Superb stellplatz ideally located to visit Berlin by S-Bahn. Really quiet both day & night with good facilities. Tallycard payment system for stay/electric/water/shower. Well spaced large pitches amongst trees/grass on hardstanding. S-Bahn station is 15min walk. 40min journey then to central Berlin. Trains every 20min. Tageskarte costs €7.40 takes you anywhere in Berlin all day. Arrive here early.

Pleasant riverside location on grass with friendly owners. €10.00 base price. Modern shower/toilet block and good WiFi at €1.50 for 3 days.

Located on mixed parking area opposite a fantastic bakery. The bread and cakes are superb. Breakfast/coffee available. Dedicated space for 4 campers.Longer vans can overhang the grassy area on the end bay. Overnight €8 Water €2. Electric €2. Noisy railway line directly behind with infrequent local commuter trains. Should stop at night but we were woken up at 0210hrs.

Well laid out Stellplatz attached to the Therme. Odd arrangement with services as taking on water also operates the sluice gate to dump grey & black waste, not independently and not part of the €7.50 nightly fee. It's noisy during the day as its next to a busy road but very quiet at night. Therme is good value at €15 each for a day ticket. Rewe supermarket nearby.

Friendly welcome to this riverside site. Restaurant/cafe at entrance and lots of cycling to be had along the Weser. Only one washing machine and no dryer..Showers and toilets are dated but looked OK. Busy road across the river brings day noise but quiet at night. Grassy area for tourers was well kept. Electric is on a meter.

Well laid out CP with large bays and some hedge separation. Good facilities, illuminated and CCTV. Opposite swimming complex and on busy main road so early morning traffic noise. Quiet peaceful night though. A good overnight stop to use

A surprisingly quiet overnight stop in a nice little village. Plenty of nearby eating/drinking houses with friendly staff. 6 x 12m bays situated next to pretty rose gardens

Fri 4.09.2015. What looked to be idyllic and peaceful actually wasn't. The Disco in the nearby sport hall pumped out its music until 0435Hrs! At 0800hrs it was time for shotgun practice in the woods followed by 'Barking Dog' training right outside our van on the grass. With no facilities this should not be called a 'Wohnmobile Stellplatz' as they are clearly different. This is free public parking.

Overnight parking available for visitors to the Brauhaus. Dustbin available. Space for larger motorhomes. Beer selection is limited but complimented with good cuisine. Havisbeck is a nice town 2 km away with Lidl & Edeka supermarkets. Some nice cafes/restaurants also

Quiet overnight stop suitable for larger vans/trailers close to sports ground. Facilities being used on our night but all done by 9pm. Electric available as was all waste facilities. Beware the freshwater tap dispenses far less than the 100 litre stipulated. Gastatte Bornemann in the centre of town serves excellent food.

Superb Aire with all facilities. 5 bays , three of which are suitable for larger motorhomes/trailers, all overlooking the waterway. Friendly owners with free cycle/walking maps to use. Barrier opens automatically out of hours on entry

Urban Aire situated very close to Valencay Chateau and behind an impressive tourist info office. Traffic noise during the day but very quiet at night given its location. Grey waste facility too tight for us to use and water is obtained via CC. WiFi password available at TI opposite. Ideal for stopover or visit to the Chateau. Intermarche short walk along boulevard

Super Aire overlooking fields and tucked away so nice and quiet. The little village is lovely with cafe/brasserie and bread 'depot'. The chateau is stunning although we did not visit on this occasion. The Auberge de Trois Jardins serves excellent fayre. There's a superb tarmac cycle route that runs through the valley past the village all the way to Dieppe which we took. Beautifully scenic and calm

Superb Aire alongside the river and nice short walk through the park to the town. Brantome with its encircling water is chocolate box pretty and quintessentially French. Very quiet at night and facilities are €2.00 for water, €6.05 to park overnight. Hardstanding and grassy areas to park on. Barrier controlled with CC access

Although we did not stay overnight here due to a fire having been lit on arrival (road repairs in village) the aire is pleasant on a large grassed area. The village cafe/bar serves good food and it's very close to an excellent 50+km long Tarmac cycle track that takes you to Bordeaux and back to Sauveterre in the other direction. Worth it just for the cycling. The countryside here is stunning

Lovely aire set directly in the vineyard of welcoming hosts. Free WiFi & Electricity. No grey/black waste disposal. Typical wine seller with degustation and good priced wines. Superb tarmac Voie Verte 4km away that is flat and takes you over 50km to Bordeaux. The best we've cycled in three years touring Europe. Really pleasant relaxing stay

Pleasant quiet spot next to a large lake. Walking/cycling routes signposted locally. Sleepy village that has a restaurant with daily menu but not tried. Service point and recycling is 300m around corner. Freshwater flow seemed slow

Excellent Aire,a short walk from the village. Designated bays, some suitable for larger vans. The troglodyte caves overlooking the parking are worth a look. Cycle and bread shops in village. Free strong WiFi in town hall square opposite bar that also sells jetons for the service point (€2.00) Really quiet peaceful night. Will use again

Surprisingly quiet at night given its urban location. Town has nice tree lined promenade with numerous cafes/bars. Service facilities OK. Designated parking for campers at end of car park below flats.

Stunning isolated location set high in the hills in a valley. Immaculate showers,toilets and WiFi included.Washer(€3) Dryer(€2). The walk up the valley is a must and just right at 5km to the top shack. Electric available and plenty of space for campervans. Access road should be driven with maximum caution as its narrow, steep and has a series of hairpin bends. Doable in a 8m van. Well worth coming

Aire is located just a short walk from the historic centre of town. Very quiet at night. Mixed parking with coaches opposite but none overnight and just one in the day(Sunday). Water font available but poor flow. Very good alternative font (with screw thread) can be found 0.5km down the road past the supermarket taking the right turn back in to Osma. Would use Aire again. Good for cycling/walking

Very nice comfortable Aire set on a hill with great views back to the town and over countryside. Hot free showers with separate facilities were a bonus. Quiet during day and night with regular GNR patrols. Would use again

The location is fine and convenient for the town centre. Next to pleasant park and we stayed until 2230hrs on a Saturday when very loud music began in the town. The Spanish had decided it was 'Party Time', although not a public holiday. Unfortunately we had to relocate as we felt sure it would continue well in to the night.

Pleasant location just downhill from the main town. It's quiet at night but location next to main road means quite a bit of noise throughout the day and early morning. Buses use Aire but are infrequent. Nice cafe opposite to sit and enjoy the evening sun. Second stay here and would use again

Wifi was excellent throughout our 4 day stay here as was the electricity and use of the on site washing machines. Site was only a third full but very quiet at night given its busy location. After April deal of €5.00 per day inc elec was a bonus. Location is excellent and convenient as our daughter flew out to stay in Albufeira and we could walk to meet her each day. Not picturesque but functional

Nicely located quiet & level site just back from the sea. Antonio speaks good English and is very helpful. Good free WiFi and washing machine @ €3.00. There's an excellent dedicated cycle route close by that will take you the whole way to Rota and its cafes in safety. Try the local fish market in Sanlucar, it's excellent with daily fresh produce. Local bus stop with fare at €1.20.

Having visited several European cities with a motorhome the €12.00 fee here is very reasonable. It's a bargain on its own for secured parking so close to this beautiful city. We stayed twice here in March 2015, walking both times in to the city which takes a good half hour. Quiet at night and full services available. WiFi only in reception. City map and info given by friendly staff

Superb overnight stop although you could stay longer and do some quality walking. Distant views of the town and peaceful at night. The surrounding open land is frequented all day by many different livestock and horses which gives it a rustic feel. All services are free as is common in this area.

Here in late January 2015 and -3 degs C at night. Drinking water turned off but everything else OK. Good small supermarket at base of village on main road when arriving from coast. Take the short walk in to the quaint hilltop village via the main roundabout then to the right. Lots of little cafes, pastry shops and restaurants. Panoramic views.
