August 9-11, 2026 Fantastic! Lovely, small-scale spot at the back of a farmyard. Views over the fields and it is very quiet there... occasionally a car, but mostly birds to listen to. Very friendly owners! Pitch on grass or gravel. Electricity for 3 campers. We were allowed to pick blackcurrants, redcurrants, and raspberries there. Camp fees cash in an envelope or via telephone payment. Excellent sanitary facilities. A place to unwind and to remember!

Aug 8/9, 2026 Great spot for one night. (especially if you have to catch the ferry in Kristiansand early the next morning, a half-hour drive) It is by a (swimming) lake and near a large town. There is only a trash can at the site itself. As has already been said, arrive on time! (we were there at 2:30 and by 5:30 the spot was full. If everyone parks reasonably neatly, there is room for 8 campers (ours was 7.5 meters)

Aug 5-6, 2026 Beautiful! Arrive early, it is a very popular spot. (we arrived at half past two in the afternoon and between five and six it was full) You need to be completely self-sufficient. What a view, just like a "living painting"... something different to see every moment. Also a nice spot if you like fishing.

Fantastic! (Aug 4-5, 2026) A large motorhome pitch on 2 levels of the mountain. View of Hardangerfjord! Shower, toilet, drinking water, and waste container on the pitch. Other facilities at the accompanying campsite, an 8-minute walk away. Check-in/reservation and payment are easy via QR code or website. Friendly staff member who comes by in the evening to check things out.

Fantastic! Spacious city campsite by a small river. Very spacious pitches (4 meters between each pitch). The new sanitary building opened last week; super chic. Everything is brand new and the spaces are very large, with multiple toilets, showers, and family showers. Large, tidy guest kitchen and excellent washing-up facilities. Want to do something? The mountain hike on Oftenåsen is well worth it! Steinkjer is a larger town with plenty to do.

July 26-27, 2026 A very nice spot to stay a night with the camper. Large grassy area with picnic benches by a lake. Completely green all around you. Until about 9 PM, there are the occasional cars coming off the ferry, but otherwise it is wonderfully quiet. There are dry toilets, though very dirty, and unfortunately, no trash can. But as a self-sufficient camper, you won't be bothered by that.

July 21-23, 2026 Great little city campsite. Everything is there (toilet, shower, electricity, emptying toilet cassette, filling water, oven, washing machine/dryer) Choose your own pitch (in heavy rain, the grass spots are difficult to access) With a fifteen-minute walk you are on a mountain....beautiful view over Hammerfest! (and from there, a steep path leads you straight into the city) And indeed, several times a day, reindeer on the campsite.

Surprisingly nice, free spot at the end of the island. Almost panoramic sea view. Waves crash in the background. There is a trash can, nothing else, but perfectly fine for an "off-road" spot. The town looks run-down in many places. The 'island tongue' leading to the lighthouse is beautiful. Two supermarkets and a gas station on this small island. A fine place for a night.

The camper spots below the dike are the nicest place to stay. (we saw a mother reindeer with her calf drinking water in the river across the way) There is a cozy little restaurant nearby. Excellent sanitary facilities. (also a sauna) They speak good English here. It is only a short distance, max 10 minutes to the village/supermarket. Stayed here for two nights; great! (July 15-17, 2026)

Beautiful, quiet spot by the water. Lovely view. (sunset!) Plenty of room for multiple campers; we were there with three others. (the road leading up to it is under maintenance but manageable) You need to be completely self-sufficient. We enjoyed staying there for an afternoon and a night!

Everything was great, everything was perfect! Extra luxury: breakfast in the cozy restaurant next to the farm shop. Attention to detail throughout the entire camper site...lights (indoor and outdoor) that turn on as you pass by/enter. Mirrors shaped like apples and pears...very fitting for an orchard! Spacious site with a large private garden. Very friendly people, managers, and staff. Beautiful cycling area.

Even though it's a large park, each spot has its own spacious "garden," which is great! The trees are already there, but they still need a little more time to create some decoration and shelter. The ice cream farm on the grounds is part of the Happen&Trappen route that passes through here...that's fun to do! Everything else is perfectly organized here.

Looking for a spot at the end of the day...and then finding this! Camping on a farm. In the middle of a very quiet and rural area...all you hear are birds. Chickens roam around. Welcomed by an extremely friendly lady who speaks excellent English. Shower and toilet in the farmhouse cottage. There's nothing there...just perfect for us for one night.

Great spots on the quay, with a view of Sønderborg. Extremely friendly, English-speaking groundskeeper! Super spacious and clean toilets and showers. (Toilet paper and hot water are included in the price.) A large recycling center for all your waste. Nice...every hour the bridge in Sønderborg opens and many sailboats pass by the quay. Large seagulls on the mooring posts. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming. Great spot!
