There is really nothing to add to Elie's review. What a beautiful, peaceful place right by the sea. Everything is very well taken care of by the enthusiastic owners. The seal spectacle is beautiful. The walk to the secluded Shaggan Bay (beautiful sea and sandy beach) is highly recommended. It starts a 10-minute drive from the campsite; turn onto the small road around the corner from the gas station/shop. The walk through Laide Forest, which is maintained by the village itself, is also top-notch.

Very beautiful, natural, and peacefully situated campsite. Excellent for hikers and near Hadrian's Wall. The sanitary facilities are very basic but are cleaned well. Plenty of space per pitch. The campsite is largely self-sufficient in energy (own wind turbine and solar panels). We paid 28 pounds for a camper, 2 people, and electricity. Showering and washing up is free. Very small shop for basic necessities.

Stayed one night at this camper site while passing through. Paid 20 pounds. Water and electricity are included, you can empty your toilet cassette, and grey water goes into a concrete ring (drain hose needed, camper cannot stand above it). The place looks very attractive with beautiful ponds and vegetation. However, there is significant noise from the motorway and regional trains pass by. Not very quiet, but if it doesn't bother you, it's a fine spot. No toilet! No shower!
