great to see the town. its on a busy road so obvious noise. park at barrier, go to machine at side of office. follow instructions.. but… don’t put card in… USE CONTACTLESS.. place card on number pad and it will print paper tickets with codes etc. You need the QR code ticket to get out.

Great place. Two nights; one following pathway behind site until right sign taking us to cite. Second day kept walking until old bridge to left taking us to town square fountain/bars/restaurants. Walk/cycle safe and lit at night. Note: entry machine you select your language, but when paying with card you have to select again (very small writing on payment machine asks option 1or2 for language… easy to think you put PIN here, its not, and cancels!

Couldn’t get in as full, looked new but very dusty. Noise road/train would have been a problem for us.

after a long and expensive toll road journey decided to stop off here and try something different.. what a delightful experience! flat parking area, no services, which we didn’t need anyway and a wine tasting in a bespoke area at 6pm.. tasted all the vin yards excellent wines with an expert talking us through all of them… you don’t have to buy, but try the wine (even the grape juice was wonderful) and you’ll be missing a real treat if you don’t.

walked past today and there were vans parked. not very pretty but near beach. it’s near a roundabout with a boat on it, the opposite end to the official campsite.

bit tired but great location. lots to do around you and very nice beach/ river to swim in. easy train ride to Olhao (Faro line) (Fuseta A station). go opposite way for Tavira. can imagine it gets really busy in summer but fine here at the moment.

here today and it’s full, vans come and go, probably because they have paid in advance and can keep their spaces. lady at reception told us to park in the other carpark (free) and we’re happy to now be in Rio’s bar eating and drinking.

great place to visit Porto. services clean and adequate.. only problem was cockerel noise starting at 4am, otherwise we’d have given 5 stars.,
