We phoned ahead for permission to stay overnight in the carpark, and for a table. Carpark sheltered from the cliffs but with fine views. Great position for walking, cycling, and exploring the area. Good meal and drinks at a reasonable price, and lovely staff. A big thank-you to The Beachy Head.

great spot. Flat. Spaces are car size, but I doubt if a bit of overhang would upset anybody, certainly if you chose your spot and at this time of year. Toilets clean but locked at night. FOC 6pm to 8am, but nice to pay for a few hours either side as a thank-you. Try to find the sound mirrors, on the lake to the west, about a half hour round trip on foot.

phone ahead to reserve a space in the rear car park (ours was level), book a table, have a nice meal and drinks, reasonably priced, and have a quiet night. Great inn, landlord and staff. Well positioned for travel in all directions. To be enjoyed and encouraged.

We stayed here for one night in early October 2018. Yes, it is the rear yard of a garage, and all the more fun for that. You may be squeezed in, but at least you will talk with your neighbours. Good facilities. Friendly owners. Ideal position for city and city walls for the classic cycle ride around the top.

We stayed here for three nights late September 2018. Having been in Pompeii, we needed a quiet few days, and this was perfect. Nice owner. Bar and small shop. Easy access to beach and town of Sperlonga. Good facilities for a small site. A bit expensive, but worth it for what we wanted.

We stayed for one night mid September 2018. A quiet stop-over whilst crossing East to West coast. Lovely area in the mountains and near a lake. Red deer rutting in the woods, easy to see. Only criticism is that it is not level, but ramps sort it out.

We stayed here for three nights mid September 2018. A lovely site. Perfectly kept by helpful owner 'The Captain' and crew. Green grass at this time of year! Good position by a sandy beach and near shops. Some shade, level. We made some lovely Italian friends.
