🤩Beautiful campsite and ideal for walking the most beautiful part of Hadrian’s Wall. You can easily join the route, and there are great pubs nearby to grab a drink and enjoy a delicious meal. Small-scale campsite with very friendly owners, Steve and Tracy. Visited twice in one holiday 👌

Exceptionally 🤩beautiful campsite and uniquely situated. Kirkcudbright at your feet, where all amenities are within crawling distance. Tesco supermarket at 300m. Sights, pub, and fishing harbour at 500m. An artists' village and a visit to the “Kirkcudbright Tolbooth” gallery are worth a visit. Very friendly Scots who are never shy of a chat. We stayed at pitch “12” with a unique view 🤩👌

Ended up here because Bergen Camping (see my review) was unexpectedly fully booked. A blessing in disguise; very busy and we shouldn't have arrived any later (< 15:00). Very friendly staff and eventually we still managed to get a spot for one night. Facilities 👌, and therefore a bit more expensive than other campsites. NKR 580 for camper max. 4 people all-inclusive.

Fine for one night, if you depend on electricity and have good facilities of your own. Otherwise, don't have any demands!! Excellent bus connection for a visit to Bergen. Do make a reservation during the busy summer period. We did on the outward journey on July 6th, but didn't on the return journey on July 22nd, and unfortunately, no spot available as a result. We were referred to Lone Camping and, because we arrived on time (15:00), just managed to get a spot.

We have already seen quite a few beautiful places where we accepted the hospitality of the country and/or the campsite owner as a given. If I were allowed to give ***** *****, then here it is. Everyone should read the welcome message at the campsite entrance!!

A gem!! Despite many experiences, a critical eye, and the requirements we always have for a campervan site, we were completely surprised. We stayed longer than planned and will definitely be back. What a peaceful, spacious, and welcoming place!

Very nice place for a stopover or longer stay. Small-scale campsite from the 1960s which is now managed by super friendly lady Helle. The campsite has everything! However, the sanitary facilities are dated but in good order and above all clean. Renovation and renewal are underway. Highly recommended!!

Great location 🤩, and what a welcome by the hospitable owner 😂 A “must do” if you visit one band Outer Hebrides”.

This Camperplace not selected. very short stretch further west in the direction of the Harbor Crane a nice asphalted area, sheltered and quite large where you can stand for free without facilities. Found this via another app. Was there with another Camper in September. High season a bit busier but very quiet. Beautiful walk along walking / cycling path where the sunset is beautiful to see. Recommended !

great place for a day in Copenhagen. easy to do by bike, very safe, bicycle-friendly and beautiful route. waste water discharge is a problem. Some do it over drainage/rainwater wells, but according to the manager at the port office, this is not allowed by authority. next year there will be a provision. for those in dire need; at the flagpole / boat lift I saw several campers that were above the well 🤫🫣

Beautiful place. arrived at 6pm and only 2 spots left. up to 15 campers right on the water.
