It's a beautiful place, and for that reason alone, I give it 5 stars. It's peaceful, the scenery is incredibly beautiful, you can take wonderful walks, and there are plenty of things to photograph. But you have to be well prepared. There are no facilities, and it's at the end of the road, so if you want to leave, you have to come back the same way. In short, a wonderful place for nature lovers and hikers.

Unfortunately, a municipal employee turned me away and directed me to the official campsite on the other side of the village. It was a shame, because I really liked that spot. So I moved on.

Beautiful place, very well appointed, with a superb view of the lake and the rocks opposite. I had a reasonably quiet night. There was some animosity around 3 a.m. from some less sensitive people. Nevertheless, I'm giving it four stars. Thank you to the town for this generous service!

This place is gone, now the free entrance is gone, the trees and shrubs are gone. Everything has been arranged to be more commercial. Price €15, all-inclusive, closed by a barrier. We will also prohibit parking elsewhere in the town, including in front of the train station.

Beautiful, quiet square close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The town has really made an effort to welcome campers: drinking water is free, you can let your wastewater run and empty your black water cassette. There are spotless urinals and toilets, and you can even charge your electric bike or cell phone there. The campervan spaces (5) are shaded by plane trees.

I have spent three years of vacation periods in this place. It is very good, free and close to the village. Allanche is a small town where you can find everything, butcher, bakery, general food. I will definitely come back!

For one night okay. Beautiful place. You have to buy local products, it’s obligatory. There is electricity but the price is unclear. No other facilities available: no water or means of disposing of dirty water or emptying the cassette. On the other hand, very calm and total tranquility.

Very nice place, quiet and clean. Not many services. Waste water can be discharged and toilet cassette emptied I didn't see any electrical connections. A tap is hidden behind a building, Ask your neighbors.

Good place without services, very quiet at night and shady during the day. There is no indication that it is a motorhome area, there are however some announcements on tree trunks to inform you about the campsite a little further. There you will find many services.

A nice and complete camper place with friendly people. Spacious and clean sanitary facilities and a beautiful cycling environment. The highway runs right past it and it gives some noise, which is a pity but that is the only flaw in this case.

Great place. I stood there for four days and cycled a lot. Everything is very simple but clean and pleasant. Nice people and beautiful places in nature. The noise from the A1 that is nearby is not too bad, it is moderately muffled by the trees.

What a wonderful place for those who need little !! Nice and quiet, clean and flat and to my great surprise there is also opportunity to recharge your bike battery. And there is internet. That is of course completely crazy for a place that in principle is free or against a voluntary contribution! The rules are simple: Pretend you are visiting someone else. So keep your garbage with you, behave neatly and do your needs on your own toilet and leave your spot neatly behind. That's not difficult right? Leave a willing contribution in the designated mailbox, I can wholeheartedly recommend it for such a wonderful initiative!

Good and clean place very nice. Not clear where to buy the chips needed to run the electricity. Who does not need it finds an almost ideal place.

This is a beautiful, popular place. From here, beautiful hiking and cycling tours are possible. Cozy audience. On the other side of the road is a weighbridge, but I have not invented how to use it.

Beautiful, clean and well maintained camper. Very bright. Close to the provincial town of Mouleydier. There are two bakers and some other shops and at least two restaurants. The trees here are still small and therefore do not give a shadow.
