We spent the night there (very quiet) from January 15th to 16th, 2026. Water and electricity were cut off. We called the maintenance department, who told us it was the municipality that had shut off the services. Is this only for the winter? Access to the fortress is easy and recommended... Furthermore, for the two spots closest to the service point (4 electrical outlets), there's no problem if the cable is at least 20 meters long. You need a longer cable for the other two.

We slept there the night of January 14th to 15th, 2026. When we arrived, we almost turned back because the gate was closed. But it wasn't locked, so you can get in without any problem. We were alone, but it was a very calm and peaceful night. Bring pliers to open the fresh water tap; be careful, it's a quarter turn, so don't try to unscrew it completely, and above all, don't forget to close it properly. Thank you to the municipality.

Excellent pitch with plenty of space and electricity included in the 8 euro package. Very pleasant on the grass except of course in the rain. I only give it a 4 because there are similar pitches in France with the same services, but free!!! (it's rare, but we encountered several). But the 8 euro price is, however, completely justified given the overall service.

Agree with the previous reviews. We spent a very quiet night there from January 19 to 20, 2025. Very good pastry (homemade cakes with very good coffee).

much better: parking (paid: overnight stay at €2) in the beautiful village of Anento, in the middle of red rocks (sublime at sunset), with a very beautiful climb to the castle (ruins). We spent a very quiet night there from January 7 to 8, 2025

Agree with Hans-Ruten's comment: we had a very good night there from 12 to 13 January 2025. Thanks to the municipality

We slept there (quiet night) from January 7 to 8: very good. All services except electricity. Bus stop in front of the supermarket to go to the city center. Gas station with LPG.

Free area (we don't need electricity). Other free services. Very quiet night. Impressive historical site, worth visiting (it was closed, but you walk outside the fences and have an excellent overview). Also walk around the small lake. Extraordinarily lucky, it was the feast of the three wise men, and we were very kindly invited to have a hot chocolate. Thanks to the municipality

We spent a night there (from January 6 to 7, 2025) very quiet (until the first tram passed around 5:00 a.m., but we are very light sleepers). Review totally consistent with the previous 3.

We spent two very quiet nights from December 31, 2024 to January 2, 2025. No services (possible to fill water bottles at the entrance to the village), but the village and the site are among the most beautiful in Spain! worth the trip!!!

We spent the night (quiet) from 30 to 31 December 2024. €4. Supermarket nearby, which can be reached directly from the area by a path along the lake. Very helpful municipal employee

We spent a quiet night there from December 28 to 29, 2024. 3 electrical branches. Clean water and garbage disposal on service area 60 meters higher in village. 3 bakeries, a butcher and tobacconist nearby. Interesting church. Viaur railway viaduct about twenty kilometers away. A big thank you to the municipality

excellent area!!! very spacious places (we can easily, with just a little good will, have 2 motorhomes per pitch (our measures 7.30m by 2.32m without the mirrors). A very big thank you to the municipality from Biar, with the addition of free electricity (but for 8 motorhomes, which makes sense!!!).

Passing through at the end of May 2023, we particularly appreciated this pleasant area. In all respects with Tony T's comment from 2018. A big thank you to the municipality

well placed to visit all the wonders of the Crozon peninsula. But we are very shocked that the price is the same (12€) with or in electricity. However, only 4 possible connections, which creates an inequality between the 4 campers who were able to connect and the very many others who cannot. At a single rate, this means that all motorhome owners in the area pay for the electricity of 4 motorhomes... iniquitous, unjust

Please note: the parking ticket allows free transport by bus for up to 5 people on the condition that the journeys take place on the day of arrival: ok if you arrive in the morning. but if you arrive in the evening, does not work for the next day !!! Otherwise, a quiet night....

opinion in line with the previous ones: quiet stop in a quiet village, and there is a water tap 50 meters away when you go towards the center of the village (bakery with homemade pastries and specialty "best worker in France", butcher-delicatessen ). Perfect for one night... We spent the one from May 17 to 18, 2023 there.

Ok for a free night. Proximity to the sea, but I imagine the cesspool when it rains or has rained a lot!!! PLEASE NOTE: when you arrive at the bottom of the bend downhill after passing the bridge, do not continue the road on the right, but take the left lane and do gymkhana between the concrete blocks (which interfere much more the passage of motorhomes than cars!!!) and continue to a dirt ground

What happiness this campsite, 1 km from the departure of the shuttle for the caminito del Rey (to do absolutely!!!). Very kind staff, many pitches, very pleasant setting above the dam lake... We spent the nights of January 18 and 19, 2023, for €36 including dog (integral motorhome 7.10 m long ). Electricity included.

the place is very beautiful but squatted by "motorhomes" (?) who stay there permanently, sometimes for several months!!! strongly that the municipality put in place a progressive toll: 2€/24h, 5€/48h, 10€/72h, 20€/96h, limited to 96h maximum. Thus, we can stop there for a night or two... last year we met some of these squatters who hadn't even visited the cathedral or the citadel...

apart from the noise of the trains, which you get used to, the area is indeed pleasant near the sea, and we have been frequenting it regularly in low season for several years. But for several years, problem with the water supply. System deteriorated several times, and valve without thread extremely unpleasant to use. There are free areas (including electricity). for a paying one, this water problem must be solved

it's a pain not to be able to fill up with water and empty it only outside the area. Certainly useful for people passing through who do not wish to park. But it would be so practical to have these same services inside the area, with a quarter-turn tap for water!!! it's a real inconvenience when you arrive with little clean water and you didn't see that the services were outside! it forces you to come out.

very pleasant area, well laid out and equipped friendly owner, but... it's true that you have to put up with the passage of the very many trains. every 5 to 10 minutes during the day, much less in the evening, but the night of January 27 to 28, 1 to 2:45 a.m. (after a helicopter takeoff at 2:35 a.m.) then the 1st in the morning at 5:05 a.m.... You can perfectly s get used to the noise and sleep well if you're not a light sleeper... Good for a one-night stopover

arrived on Friday evening January 14th we fortunately left on Saturday at 7:55 am. Within 5 minutes, we couldn't get out, the fairground people setting up their stands on the exit lane. Be careful, the entrance is surprising: you enter a park through a large door, wondering if it's really there! But yes you have to take the right alley and go down to the bottom of the park.

Quiet free services (no electricity). Pleasant location, pleasant walk from the car park. But few places: all were occupied the night of January 15 to 16, 2022 (including us). I recommend. Thanks to the municipality.

large pitches (width). no problem for camping furniture. hot water possible for dishes. Correct showers and toilets. several points for emptying and full of water. electricity for all. close to town. But a little noisy from 6:00 am because near the roundabout.

large, quiet pitches, access strictly reserved for motorhomes, closed by solid barrier, electricity and water at each pitch, sufficient night lighting without being disturbing. in the middle of ponds and not far from the cathedral of Maguelone (12TH century). excellent stage.
