Great campsite, spacious pitches, view over the water, good facilities, but most pitches are too sloped for our levellers. Cash payment.

A really lovely campsite; the view from the pitches by the water is fantastically beautiful, with stunning sunsets! Due to medical circumstances, our holiday turned out differently than planned, and the campsite owner was incredibly helpful. You couldn't ask for better!

Next to the restaurant is a large site with 12 power hook-ups for campers. You can stay here for £15 for a maximum of 24 hours. On the other side of the road is an even larger site without electricity, costing £8. Next to the restaurant (accessible to everyone) are good toilets, a shower, a toilet emptying facility, and a water tap. Cheap food in the restaurant until 15:30 (now, in May). Dead quiet at night, didn't hear a generator.

Indeed, lovely spots for campers once you get past the mess. Beautiful, heated sanitary facilities. Cash payment; we paid (mid-May) £30 per night, including electricity.

I agree with the previous reviews. A solid pass for the sanitary facilities: clean, spacious, and pleasantly heated. Use of the washing machine is £3, and the dryer is also £3. It's a shame there is no electricity.

Strange that no reviews have been posted for 10 years; it is a great spot with sweeping views over the valley with many sheep. The sanitary facilities (2 toilets and 1 shower) are very outdated but clean and adequate. You pay £1 to use the shower. An overnight stay is £21 per night. Two downsides: some noise from the road during the day, 100 meters away, and there is a smell of manure.

I agree with all the positive reviews below. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed the delicious food. There's now a 500-liter tank at the campervan sites where you can tap water.

Great campsite, lovely spacious pitches, wonderfully peaceful. Check-in and check-out with a card is easy. Please note: the sanitary facilities are only open from June to September.

When we arrived here on Monday before 11:00 a.m., it was already full, and even after waiting for a while, no one showed any signs of leaving. We only planned to stay a few hours, so we parked at Lidl. It's even closer to the excavations and the cathedral... Aldi, a little further down, has an even larger parking lot. The parking lot looked good, but there was little to no shelter from the sun.
