Quiet, green and free. Beautiful.

great place, fairly quiet, with electricity, on asphalt, and (on Saturday March 2, '24) a mobile pizza baker on site (popular in Verdun, because the waiting time was an hour).

This is no longer a camper place. Access to the wastewater discharge site is blocked with stone blocks, the water tap has disappeared. I didn't touch the chemical toilet disposal area. We had a very quiet night there.

Yes. it is a beautifully equipped campsite with its own shower, toilet, two camping chairs and a table, for use both indoors and outdoors. On November 10, '23 the rate for a camper bus and two people was €25, but with the NKC card it was €19, including water, electricity, WiFi. The "own" toilet building even has an outdoor lamp. To be completely horizontal, the ramp wedges were necessary, but that varies per location, I think.

Many private cars (from the company across the street?), while it clearly states on the asphalt that it is only for camping cars. Three spots available. Sani column defective (Sept 13 '23). Quieter than expected at night.

When is a motorhome pitch a motorhome pitch? If there's a sign next to it? We have asked ourselves this before, also in other countries. There is no sign in Torgny, and there is no provision of any kind except the trash can at a bus stop and two glass containers for local use. But we did have a good night there (April 14-15, 2022) without any problem. And pretty quiet apart from some passing cars early in the morning.

Stayed overnight in Esneux at the beginning of July 2021. Didn't see any grumpy police officers, but we did see another bus camper. A nice place, apart from nightly laughter and whoops and music until 3.30 am elsewhere in the otherwise almost empty parking lot. (Perhaps something to keep in mind just in case: a week later Esneux was flooded by the Ourthe and five people were killed.)

Spent the night here on July 8, 2021. At about 6.30 pm, one of the six spots was still available. All facilities are good and free, but when checking with the staff, the restaurant revealed no wifi. Good food there and they also have vegetarian dishes. (Just think about that in France.)

Wednesday, July 7, 2021 drove there via a winding road (dead end on the large open terrain at 1070 meters altitude) and stood there as the only camper. The hotel partially burned down on July 3, and the restaurant in is closed until further notice. It's tragic in such a beautiful setting.

Close to the city center, but crooked indeed; you do need blocks.

This campsite has everything you need as a camper to refuel: good showers, good washing machines, chemical toilet disposal, waste water well, separate waste (incl. Excuses that it is arranged less perfectly here than in NL!), And electricity is included. Sanitary block is clean, well equipped and spacious. Extremely friendly welcome. Unfortunately no wifi.

Maybe a nice place, but this CP has no washing / drying options. Cows and sheep around the CP.

Nice place, but not for the night. When we were there at the beginning of August 2019, it was 'three-high-rear' there, a sort of storage area with large campers that stood some 50 cm apart. The only spacious pitches are officially 'coaches only', so not intended for campers. Not that Dutch people (and Germans) have a message about that, of course ...

Amusement park on parking lot with noisy generator. On the view side largely double yellow line and 'keep clear'. Not very attractive!

Agree with all the positive comments about Donegal, but those cars that drove uselessly back and forth in the parking lot until half past twelve, and back and forth, and again and again, and so on, really annoyed us. Not recommended, this place!

Target price is not 'free'; the volunteers who run this place ask for a voluntary contribution of € 10. Furthermore, they request that all waste be taken away (and not just put down somewhere, as we saw a NL do). These types of types ruin it for the rest!

If the offered CPs are clearly marked with 'campervan' then you naturally stand there and do not immediately tear through to the pier, there with your large white box to ruin the view for other visitors ... 😢

Rate 2019 for bus camper + 2 people (without electricity) is € 22. Showering costs 1 euro per five minutes. Bunch of currants!

Nice place! Deserves more than the 6.6 that stands now. Worth a good 8 for us.

Great for an overnight stay. Good public toilets open until 8 p.m. and after 8 p.m. After arriving at the parking lot, continue to the end, near the harbor. There are two places for campers, indicated by signs.

Not a pleasant place on Saturday, June 22, 2019. A kicked-down van, a muddy pool of water, and three passenger cars. There was just room for our bus camper. But we left for the CP in Southwick. That looks better.

"No camping or temporary dwellings." - This is not a motorhome! There is a campsite nearby.

Be careful with staying without permission from the Anchor Inn, the owner of this parking lot. The parking meter clearly states: no overnight camping.

This place is NOT NEXT TO The Falklands Arms, but a 'Fee parking', about 100 meters away. So there is no parking space in the pub. No official motorhome. Terrain is sloping. Not suitable for campers longer than 5 meters.

'Under new management' is written in large letters at the entrance, and the new manager offers us - despite our arrival after closing time - a nice paved place so that we (like our predecessors) don't get stuck in the swamp grass. Nice and quiet place! £ 13 per night without electricity. Search by coordinates!

Additionally: as "over sixty" and "full member" of the Camper and Caravanning Club we paid £ 30 for two nights.

A deserted place, windy: you have to love that But beautiful views (and on Monday and Friday the fish and chips car! Without electricity you can go on a 'field with a view'. It was busy on 17 June 2019, by the way.

If you don't mind very narrow roads this is a great place. No facilities, except for a garbage can (past the gate to the towpath at the Grand Western Canal). Besides the tree-lined path along the canal, this is an area of fields, meadows and many trees. Search by coordinates! The parking lot is also called Grand Western Canal, so not Canal parking.

if you are on one of the four camper pitches outside the campsite, the use of the sanitary facilities does not apply. Furthermore, agree with all positive reviews.

Difficult, winding route, but then you also have something: rustic clink of cow bells, an alpine church bell that smashes the hours, and further peace and quiet. The only downside could be that the terrain is nowhere horizontal. But ideal for those seeking tranquility. NB: water comes out of the tap by pushing it downwards. And at the end of June the Christmas lights were already on (yet?).

Route (street name) leads to huge parking space without facilities. Service place we see only the next morning, a little further, but places (?), Toilet? We have not seen them. However, an explicit parking ban at the service place, so not convenient to stand there. In the large parking lot it is pleasant to stay until the morning traffic starts. Very busy!

Little bit of terrain with litter. We did not smell it fresh there. An equally messy nursery of something unclear about the hedge. If there has already been a drain, it is no longer usable, because it is full of small stones. NB. toilet use is NOT the intention here, because private ownership.

Nice quiet place. Center village at 1 km. There is not much to experience there. Well two cafes + alimentari. For large campers the route via Figline is not recommended. Winding road, locally steep and narrow.

In the spring quiet place, except on summer days at the weekend, when all motorbikes from the area do the tourist route. At this campsite you will imagine yourself on the TT van Assen until sunset, with constant noise-ripping devices. (The campsite is in a bend in the road ...) June 2018 still a strange smell at the bottom terrace. Showers old fashioned, but tasty!

Beautiful overnight stay, within walking distance of Cittá di Castello center. Location difficult to find, but it can be done on the basis of coordinates. Drive straight from the car park entrance and then right (past the bar on the right). Drive on to an open parking lot. There signs 'motorhome' and there are also the empty places.

Unfortunately, due to the earthquake in 2016, Visso turned into a ghost town. Desolate and pitiable. This also applies to more places in the area, such as Norcia. The CP is difficult to reach via the city, but we could find it with a detour. We only had lunch here. Looks good and quiet, but the bin is missing.

Excellent overnight stay. Indeed many trains passing by, but after 22.00 it is quiet. No problem at night. If you want to camp, find a campsite!

On May 23, 2018, water and electricity were unavailable. The discharge point could be used. And it was not busy. With ours there are four campers. Our TomTom did not know the address ...

Great place. On Pentecost Saturday (19-5-2018) we were the only camper. But the beers in the bar with wifi (in the middle of the main street) were very expensive at € 9.50, we thought.

There stood a night in January 2018, please note, during an exhibition in Antwerp Expo. The friendly manager did not bother (at 11.30 in the morning), but that may not be a guarantee for the future. A great place if you want to go into the city: lots of space, with a choice of paved surfaces and grass.

I have been there three times this year (2017) and there was always a place. Nice location and quiet.

Fine here overnight on April 20, 2016. true all: plumbing, wifi in the whole area, living room, kitchen, washing machine, spacious sites, supermarket within 20 minutes walk, friendly manager. Even the train that runs along quiet operation. The reception hours are somewhat cramped: morning and evening for half an hour.

great place, quiet, near the center. Whether there is monitored is not clear. And where you should not immediately pay. Not at the barrier, but the building along the main road.
