This is my second time here because this campsite is beautifully located and extremely quiet. This year, it's absolutely overcrowded. There are probably around 250-300 campervans spending the night there each night. This is certainly due in part to the new legislation in Slovenia that prohibits campervans from parking in parking lots. This completely eliminates 80% of the available parking spaces.

The overnight parking space still exists, but not in the original location, but more or less diagonally below it, near the police station. It's extremely busy. Overnight stays generally cost €23 per night in the surrounding area. Not very attractive, but right in the city center.

The campsite is ideally located by the lake. It's fantastic... BUT!!... ALSO RIGHT NEXT TO the highway. Not for those sensitive to noise. The highway noise is extremely loud, even at night. Such a shame, because the location by the lake would be/is fantastic.

The parking space isn't located in the Seewirt's parking lot, as advertised, but rather 200 meters ahead on the left, in a meadow with trees and bushes. It's actually quite nice, with lots of greenery all around and a beautiful view of the mountains...and now the BUT!! It's located less than 50 meters from the very busy main road. The traffic noise is unbearable!

The parking space has room for four motorhomes. However, it's quite busy, so at least eight motorhomes were parked around us. Moderately attractive, but relatively quiet despite the B320 federal highway running through Liezen.

First of all: Thank you for the opportunity to stay here during the summer months (summer only!)! It's a parking lot, right next to the motorway exit (you can hear the motorway exit!), about 300 meters from the lake, where you can only stay for ONE night. Daytime rate is €8, night rate from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. is €15, meaning if you arrive at 4 p.m. and depart at 10 a.m., you pay €25. I think that's a pretty good price! Nothing else is included.
