We stayed here for two nights. Quite remote, but good as a base for visiting towns in the area such as Sorano. Sovana, Pitigliano. Restaurant is closed. but you can choose from menu for takeaway, very tasty. Sanitary facilities very neat, three small bathrooms. Hot shower, 3' for 50 cents.

Il Capanno is a simple campsite at an altitude of 1000m. Quite remote, ideal for a few days of tough walks. Friendly welcome when Andrea is there. Otherwise you should give him a call. Mainly permanent pitches and five pitches for campers with electrics. Simple but clean sanitary facilities, hot showers included in the price. The baker comes by in the morning. We (2 people) paid 28 euros at the end of June, showers and electricity included.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Friendly welcome. Very quiet, nice view. 25 euros + 5 euros for electricity. Sanitary facilities are neat. Shower with tokens, 1 euro for 3 minutes. First jet very hot. Restaurant is very good. From here we drove to Belluno with a camper and parked there on the large Area sosta, escalators to the city center.

Price per night for two people is 44 euros, not 27 as indicated here. Sanitary facilities have been renovated. Showers, electricity and water are included in the price. Still on the expensive side. Restaurant only open on weekends.

We stayed here 2 nights. Very friendly and hospitable welcome by helpful manager. All accommodation available. Super safe and within walking distance from the center of Lucca. An absolute must.
