Many permanent pitches, small field (10-15) for campers/motorhomes. Friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities could use a renovation. Showers cost 1 euro, otherwise everything is included. You also get the very busy flight path to Frankfurt for free, but it is virtually quiet at night. Great place to cycle to Mainz (over the railway bridge).

Quiet place, everything is there and well maintained.

A great location for visiting Porto. The owner could make it a fantastic campsite with some simple investments: remove damaged tents and caravans, repair the power boxes (and doors), and upgrade the restrooms from 1914 Alcatraz to 2026. Other than that: excellent! (and low price)

Fantastically beautiful location with stunning views of the city. Collect a toilet key, and water and electricity are available at the sites. A great base for exploring the city (by bus or electric bike).

January 5, 2026: Surprisingly nice camper site, water and electricity included, though it does require some maneuvering to get there and park between the walls. Some spots are easier than others. Pay at 8:30 AM with the officers who walk by; you can also pay by card. The 2026 rate has increased to €16.36.

Great place for one night, 5 euros extra for electricity, no shower or toilet (as indicated), but there is a dump and water point.

Despite being full (due to the Lille fair), we still managed to get a spot by the greenhouses. A super friendly welcome, explanations, tour, etc.

Upon arrival, a sign on the gate stated that campers were not welcome today due to a wedding. The wedding guests clearly weren't expecting us, so we decided against the "party crashing" option.

not cheap, especially because of double tourist tax. On the other hand: super clean sanitary facilities (almost sterile) and everything is organized like a mirror. And with your tourist tax ticket you can ride the tour train for free…. Busum itself is actually no different: a recently built seaside resort with a scary tight and neatly organized beach (of grass…)
