What a wonderful place to be. This weekend was my third time this season. From here we hiked our very last leg of the Pieterpad. The location is perfect. The hospitality is perfect, the bathroom facilities are perfect, and the fresh eggs are perfect too. The only thing that wasn't so perfect was having to say goodbye again... Anyway, there will definitely be a next time.

Thanks to the previous reviews, we didn't check in first, but drove onto the property at the barrier to see if there was space. We needed a power connection. When it turned out there were no more spaces, we left with the next person leaving. Seems only fair to me. Full is full, so you shouldn't pay upfront for something that's no longer available.

Beautiful campsite with nice places on the Winsummerdiep. Walking distance from the village. On the Pieterpad (base for stages 1 and 2). Good restaurant at the campsite. Excellent working WiFi. Sanitary facilities are fine - a bit outdated.

Stayed here for two nights with our camper. Pieterpad Rest area. Facilities are in good order. Lovely spacious and flat places with shade and sun. Overnight stay for 2 people โฌ30,=, washing โฌ5,=. Recommended if you are looking for an overnight stay while walking the Pieterpad.

Beautifully situated mini-campsite. Nice, clean sanitary facilities. Excellent showers for 50 cents. Bread roll service. Surprised with a few Easter eggs at Easter. Hospitable reception by Hannah. Beautiful base for beautiful walks. We had a nice spot with our own water, electricity and drainage. We will undoubtedly come here more often.

Nice camper place. From here visited Ghent and parked there at the P+R The Loop and for โฌ 7.50 for 24 hours bus and tram. Working and clean shower and toilet is nice. Too bad there is no 220V available. Places are fine. We will definitely come here again.

Also open on October 28th. Enjoyed the autumn sun with sausage and wine from the shop. You feel welcome here. Costs 3 euros / night and we spent some money on wine and sausage. Highly recommended.

we were here on October 28, 2024. Unfortunately closed. The sign at the entrance said April to September. Nothing October 31st. Disappointment.

22/10/24: still closed. On the parking lot next door you can stand for โฌ5,=/day. Without facilities, that is. But wonderfully quiet.

1 night 2 persons, October 2024: โฌ 20,=. Dated indeed and in need of maintenance of greenery and buildings. Sanitary facilities are therefore clean and functional. fine for a quick shower. Many campsites are closed in October. This one is open until November 1.

Large campsite. You have to like that (we less so). Placed next to the toilet building and next to the noise barrier of a busy road. Not a good idea. Fortunately there was something else available. Sanitary facilities are fine. Facilities furthermore. great base for trips in the region.

great CP. Neat and clean sanitary facilities. Showering 1 euro for 6 minutes effective. More than enough. Directly on the lake, with pebble beaches and jetty. friendly owner who is easily accessible. Bakery and supermarket 11 minutes by bike. Relaxed and quiet campsite.

Wonderful campsite. Everything is right here. The country store invites you to buy more than you need ;-). The little pigs are really great. Just like all other animals. Highly recommended.

Cool campsite. Spacious, flat places. Shade and sun. Private, clean, sanitary facilities. Sufficient privacy. Luxury camping. And sometimes that's nice. We paid โฌ44.80 for one night with two people. Compared to your own sanitary facilities, that is quite okay.

Great place. 12/4/24 Stayed for 1 night. Paid โฌ28.40, 2 persons, all-in. Spacious place, flat and sufficient privacy. Neat and clean sanitary facilities. Nice base for Hierden and the surrounding area.

Easter weekend 2024 stood here with our VW Camper. Beautiful campsite in a beautiful location. Enthusiastic owners who provided us with a lot of information about the area. Equipped with all amenities and more. Nice location on the hill and centrally between Sittard and Geleen. Even Valkenburg is easy to do by bike. Ergo, recommended. There is a good chance that we will return again.

Quite an ok experience. We paid (2 adults) just over โฌ 28. There was plenty of room on the "tractors lane". Friendly employee at the reception. We used the sanitary facilities of the main building. That was fine. Wonderfully warm water and more than enough strong jet. No reason not to come back again. New owners?

great place to stand. Stayed for two nights. At 15:30 we had the last free spot - overlooking the river. โฌ10/night is ok. Only to pay with coins (and that is less). A steakhouse is a 2-minute walk away where you can enjoy a delicious meal. A beer garden across the street. The city has a lot to offer, including the Water Management System, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The only reason this place shouldn't get five stars, is because of not having a swimming facility. we stood there for three days and enjoyed it. Excellent stop along the Romantic Road. Clean and luxurious sanitary facilities. Refrigerated wine sales. Many bike and hiking trails.

Great place for visiting the city. Really within walking distance. We arrived 3:30 pm and everything was full. Luckily someone just left. Sanitary is fine. Too bad there is no shower.

If you can get a spot along the water, it's great. If it doesn't work, there's plenty of room. So you will not be sent away here. We did not find showers and toilets or were closed. It was very busy on this holiday day. 1 spot on the water still available. We arrived around 4:00 PM.

We arrived around 7:00 PM. No decent place available anymore. Drove to Margaretendamm on the advice of โlocalโ. Excellent overnight stay for โฌ 18.00 / day. More than enough space. No facilities, so off grid. 10 min walk to old town.

Arriving at the beginning of August without a reservation was not an option even in 2021. Full. Not even for 1 night. Alternative: camping municipal de Coucourell is nearby and fine (10 min walk from the village and with a 50m swimming pool).

excellent campsite within walking distance (10 min) of Pernes les Fontaines (nice village). Also access to swimming pool (50 m bath with sunbathing area), which is next to it. good and clean sanitary facilities.

Great campsite. Friendly reception. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Nice view over the lake. Lovely to swim in.

Park where there is space. No amenities. OK for 1 night and then on again. Flensburg is ok. Parking space in industrial area. Not very inspiring. If you have a view over the water, it's cool.

Lovely cozy campsite. Stayed two nights. walked to Bollene. Nice village with medieval church. Campsite has two access roads. One is a bit difficult with the camper. sanitary clean, small swimming pool, restaurant, large pitches, relatively in the shade, forest floor. Owner speaks little English. Many Dutch people because it is an ANWB recommended campsite.
