The camper pitch is fine. We weren't bothered by cars near caravans. Fortunately, we had reserved well over a day in advance because the camper pitch was fully booked for the two nights we stayed. The pizzas were top quality.

Great campsite. Reception very helpful. When we asked for a thermometer in the shop just before 8 pm, they insisted on getting one from the pharmacy in the next village that was open until 10 pm. What free service. Taking Uber to and from the metro station worked fine. We were hardly bothered by barking dogs far away at night.

City campsite. Navigation via CC works fine. A taxi ordered by the reception to the University complex cost €6.50. Particularly interesting in the rain.

A great place to hear and occasionally see birds. If you go hiking to a viewpoint, pay close attention to the route on Google Maps. We didn't do that, and a warm 10km walk suddenly turned into 14km. It was still a beautiful walk, though.

All the positive reviews are accurate. We even stayed for 4 nights. We were unable to buy the previously mentioned Barik public transport card in Zumaia. We could, however, buy the regional Mugi public transport card (€5), which is common here. The reception knows the address of the Pakistani phone shop in the center. With this card, one person can travel to Bilbao or, for example, San Sebastian for something like €2.40 per trip. With just one trip to Bilbao, you’ve already earned it back.

Beautifully situated campsite, sanitary building is new and neat. Wifi only at the reception/restaurant, where we had delicious barbecued meat and fish, with fries, and tasty wet green rice. (€10,- per night, 2 persons + camper + electricity)

Quiet beautiful relaxed place where we had a delicious carp meal in the restaurant. You can use the toilet and shower of the hotel. It is a bit far from the center.

We agree with the reviews. The road to get there was challenging, we had a collision because the oncoming car drove down the mountain too fast and did not move to the side enough. At the campsite, the father of the campsite owner temporarily repaired the bodywork damage, very nice! Nice people there!
