A very neat campsite on the outskirts of Appelscha. The registration and payment system is top-notch; how easy can it get👍🏻 It would be nice if showering was automatically added to the total as well, so we wouldn't have to save up coins🤭 But we understand they are working on that. Will we come back here? I think so; it's a great base for many cycling routes.

Nice, flat pitches on gravel. A bakery is a 5-minute walk away, and there's a vending machine where you need to buy a credit card (pay by card, so no hassle with coins). At the main power station, you select your spot, place your card in front of it, and voila, you have power. Still no restroom facilities, but containers with showers and toilets. Great. Incidentally, the staff at the shop at the entrance were very helpful for registering.
