Great campsite. We don't understand the bad reviews. The owner is super nice. It seems some people aren't quite up to the Mecklenburg way of life 😅... There's also a restaurant here, but the owner has nothing to do with it. In other words, he doesn't cook here himself. Top-notch sanitary facilities, plus a separate toilet and sink in the shower. Bread roll service at great prices. Everything for kids is there, including mini golf, a beach, and a dog area.

We were there the week before Easter. Access was poor. Almost exclusively permanent campers (allotment-like). The restaurant was only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No shop, no bread roll service. Apparently, it wasn't the season yet, mid-April. No mention of it on the website. The pitch was generous, with water and sewage disposal. But that was about all the positives. The sanitary facilities served their purpose, but were quite dirty. The Blue Lake wasn't inviting for swimming. The beach was dirty and littered.
