Beautiful, well-kept and well-maintained campsite / motorhome site. Clean sanitary facilities, friendly owner, a good price, and a perfectly functioning reservation system. We were able to take a great walk with the dogs here, and if you walk off the motorhome site, you are right on the dike. It is a pity that there isn't much to visit in the immediate vicinity (while walking the dogs), but it is wonderfully quiet. We will definitely come back here again.

May 15-17, 2026 What a beautiful and well-maintained campsite this is. This was our second time here, and the very friendly owners have worked incredibly hard to make it a real gem. Very tastefully decorated, impeccably maintained, a very welcoming atmosphere, and well-maintained sanitary facilities. The presence of goats, rabbits, chickens, and the incredibly cute and curious alpacas also adds real value. We will definitely be back!

Strictly rated, but certainly not worth 5*. The location is beautiful, the places spacious, sanitary facilities are clean, but the overall impression is dated and during our stay it was not very busy. The information is very brief, the manager stiff, the terrain rather confusing and it still gives a slightly outdated impression (without being bad). We did enjoy ourselves, but were only there for 2 days.

Nice place, well located, but very poor information provision. There were no more information folders and it is completely unclear how the power system works. In very bad weather we spent 1 hour messing around before we had power. Once you have power, there is no way to find out what it costs and how long your credit lasts. We discovered at night that it was gone, all devices were off and topping up was impossible. Just very bad.

March 2025 We stayed here for 2 nights, beautiful surroundings, everything well taken care of, clean sanitary facilities and very spacious places. We were welcomed very hospitably and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back here, a great place to stay in peace and quiet.

09-30-2024 What a beautiful place this is! Very nice owners who are incredibly hospitable and do everything they can to make it something beautiful. Beautiful paved areas, new and clean sanitary facilities, vegetable garden, animal and eggs, but above all very atmospheric. Unfortunately we had to leave in a hurry due to family circumstances, but the owners were very helpful and understanding. Thank you again for that and we will definitely come back!

September 28-30, 2024 What a wonderfully beautiful place this is. Friendly owners, beautiful sanitary facilities and a very nice atmosphere. Exactly what you hope for and with a beautiful view over the Dokkumer Ee and the surrounding fields. We will definitely come back here and would like to give a big compliment 👍🏻

We were here from 25 to 28 September 2024 It is a nice little campsite, with friendly owners and excellent facilities. The sanitary facilities are perfectly maintained, the sandwiches are very tasty and they sell delicious jam in the shop at the reception. The lawn and the forest are also neatly maintained, so you get a nice and spacious camping spot. Big compliment and definitely worth planning a stay 👍🏻

23-25 Sep 2024 Great CP, with neat and well-maintained facilities. It is quiet and centrally located. For tall people, the toilet bowls and the toilet roll holder are very low. I come across that low toilet roll holder in many places and I find that very annoying. The toilets are often small and if you have to bend down so low as a tall person, you are simply stuck. Tip: something to dry your hands at the sink outside would be handy.

We were here from 21 to 23 September 2024 What a nice camper place this is! We were welcomed very friendly and helpful and all facilities are up-to-date and perfectly maintained. Beautiful grass, spacious places, the possibility to rent an electric car and a small shop for the necessary We travel with 2 dogs and a great dog playground has been created for that. The area is also perfect for walking and cycling.

We were there 10-11-12-13 August 2024 Friendly welcome, but to be honest, we were very disappointed. There are all possible facilities, but if you don't want to or can't use them, there's not much left. You can enjoy walking and cycling there, but otherwise it's not our thing. Sanitary facilities are identical to Vejers Strand Camping, but too few for the number of people and it was never clean. We will definitely not go back here.

We were here 8-9-10 August 2024 We were welcomed very friendly, only finding our spot was a bit difficult (no signage) and the spot was also a bit difficult to stand level. You can easily enter the dunes and the beach here (also with the camper). The sanitary facilities are sufficient and perfectly maintained. There are many different campers, but there is a very nice, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

We were here on August 6-7-8, 2024. We were welcomed very friendly and hospitable and were in the first row at the water. What a beautiful place this is, here you can completely relax and the sanitary facilities are well maintained. Highly recommended and we will definitely go back here again 👍🏻

August 2024 Beautifully located campsite, nice and close to home for us to start a trip and the facilities are okay, but a bit dated. The toilets were not too clean, but in high season, with many children, this can sometimes happen. We stood with the camper on a field where there were 3 spots next to each other, 3 spacious spots by the way, but our spot had no water, the other 2 did. It is a pleasant campsite here!

In the morning we picked up our camper from the dealer and went straight to Camping op den Stuwwal. What a nice campsite, beautiful spacious pitches, nice sanitary facilities and all well maintained and clean. We were kindly received and there is a friendly atmosphere. You can easily walk the dogs from the campsite and there is a beautiful spatial view of the surrounding meadows. We will definitely come back here, in short, highly recommended.
