The photo is beautiful, but the reality isn't. Human droppings and toilet paper everywhere. The photo suggests you are standing on the shore, but the lake lies much lower. The road is close by, though. Drove on quickly.

It was very disappointing. Admittedly, there is a nice toilet and picnic tables, but that is about it. It is a large (gravel) parking lot with a sea view in one spot and nothing else. The pebble beach can be reached via a long, overgrown staircase. We moved on. There are much nicer places to be found in Denmark (and they are also free). (And the restaurant has limited opening hours: we were there on Monday. It only opens on Thursday.)

Denmark is truly fantastic with so many (available) spots by the sea and lakes. Just like this place again, very clean and with a beautiful view. Super and thank you!!

Super cozy. Fantastic spot. A soul band was playing tonight and a lot of villagers came here to picnic and have a beer. Perfect atmosphere despite the heat.

Good spots with a beautiful view over the vineyard and the fields beyond. Very quiet. We enjoyed the sounds of the birds. Everything neat and well-maintained. Very friendly welcome by the owners.

On the street side, a nice little park with little traffic. Close to the beach and the boulevard. It's nice, and it's fantastic that the municipality does this and maintains it. The pizzeria, 20 meters away, was closed (hibernation).

Officially, according to the signs, you're not allowed to stay overnight here. Much earlier, it was: there's a small square specifically for campers. But apparently, it's tolerated in the winter. The police drove by and didn't say anything. We stayed one night with about five of us and the other night with three. It would have fit about ten of us, but it's just a regular parking lot. That said: a beautiful spot, fantastic views, a lovely beach, a beautiful fortress, and quiet.

A beautiful, spacious, bare spot where there's absolutely nothing in the winter, just garbage containers. The restaurant is also closed.

It's great! All amenities, spacious pitches, within walking/cycling distance of the town! And free, even electricity!

There's no movement in most of the parked campervans. The campervan parking is for residents? Too bad. Otherwise, it's a good place to visit Santander. There were at least 10 campervans parked along the street (which isn't allowed). Police drove by but didn't intervene. At least 30 campervans couldn't find a spot.

What a whiner from E. Couwenhoven. Beautiful view of the illuminated harbor, the bay, and the mountains in the background, super clean, and police patrolling. Everything is illuminated, too. Besides, I believe you can't leave a review if you leave and don't stay there.

Perfect for a stopover. Very quiet. Bakery on the square. Close to the highway. What more could you want?

Beautiful place. The yellow water lily is just beginning to open. Every now and then a freight train passes by on the other side.

It's a nice place, very quiet. There's a restaurant by the lake, as well as a small beach and a playground and swimming area.

This is not a camper site but a standard parking space at a beach entrance.

In itself convenient, right in the center. And also the necessary facilities. But that's it. View of the main road or the parking lot of KFC, with the associated noise. There are indeed 'permanent residents'. In one of those dilapidated campers there is a rooster (crowing). But a la: it's free! So: positive! Thanks to the municipality.

It looks nice and is very conveniently located, BUT: temporarily closed for maintenance in January 2025. Happy New Year! Hopefully open again in February

Unbelievable, what a place! Lots of space, greenery and all amenities! And free too. Sometimes a train, but what else do you expect at an old train station? Otherwise an oasis of peace.

It is a beautiful place but at 7 o'clock the noise starts: a big stream of heavy traffic and freight trains. Incidentally, it seems to be a winter storage for local camper owners.

unfortunately the party is over. stood here before. fine. But now there are signs "no vehicles higher than 2 meters." probably the churchgoers had a problem with parking. that is not strange.

After half an hour we drove on. Stench of dog excrement and noise from the road (many tractors). Too bad. It is a beautiful place.

Very nice place by the sea. Everything clean and tidy. Shop nearby. This morning all large campers were turned away. The camper should not 'hang' too much over the sidewalk. Many had to leave. We were allowed to stay there with our 6 meter bus camper. (therefore in a beautiful vacant spot with an unobstructed view😃) There was no control yesterday. There are no prohibition signs anywhere.

camping prices vary considerably. we pay now. €26 per night despite Acsi. The restaurant is mediocre. The service slow. Doors remained open, we were in the cold!

Anyone who does not object to a place without a sign for campers, remote, half in the woods and without facilities has come to the right place. At the entrance of a sports park. It was nice and quiet last night, so very alone. After some searching even satellite reception. There is a beautiful picnic area with tables and benches 50 meters away. It is part of several walking routes.

great place next to a beautiful nature reserve. beach nearby (just get off the circular walk and you're there). nice visitor center. in the middle of high season and we were alone. wonderfully quiet at night. recommended!

It is a parking lot for the natural pool and the old cemetery. No more. There is no sign that you may or may not stand here with the camper. Until after eleven cars drove up and down regularly, before .........? No worries by the way. Also very quiet. Great for a free night's stay.

T is great here. Especially with good weather like now. Nice view, nice and quiet (except for the chugging of the boats). Yesterday and today there were 2x as many campers as allowed, but possibly due to the lack of the official signs, there was no enforcement. It seems that in two weeks the signs will be there again (washed away ????).

The campsite has everything that anyone could wish for. All facilities, shop, restaurant, close to the metro. But they do allow dogs. And that is not so bad, but also dog owners. The site consists of 2 parts: courtyard for places with electricity and outside area without electricity. Everyone, except one, who came down the courtyard with a dog, let them out on the outside

Great place. Calm and clean. Spacious place. At the gate of the rustic town. All provision. And that for free!

Perfect place. Bakker is closed until further notice, but the place can't help that either. On the other hand: free tastings on the market. Oysters, sausage, wine, foie gras. We were almost forced to take more. Very hospitable.
