The site is convenient for Parc Asterix and has a woodland setting but the swimming pool is being rebuilt and isn’t cordoned off and so is a complete danger for children. the small cafe area is dirty and the site generally feels uncared for.

Excellent Aire. great for a stopover. Bakery 400 m down the hill. Easy access despite the steep hill.

There are not any designated motorhome spots on this parking area but there doesn’t appear to be anything that says you can’t stay.

Very large Aire on the edge of a lovely town. All of the expected facilities on site with easy access. The town has lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

We arrived on Bastile day and the camp site was absolutely packed which initially put us off but the staff were extremely efficient and the range of facilities for the 5 year old granddaughter were excellent. The adjacent park with swimming lake and eateries was great and we even got a massive fireworks display to end the day after watching the Tour de France stage finish in the city.

Nice little Aire, very close to the centre of a lovely typical French small rural town, with its cafés, restaurants and shops. It was the height of the harvest with tractors hauling grain but the noise was intermittent and stopped around 8pm.

Very convenient stopover place right in the centre of town, by the river with good walks along the banks. plenty of shops within 5 minutes walk. We managed to get one of the official bays but there were 6 other Motorhome’s parked on the general bays.

don’t pay any attention to the moaners who leave bad reviews. This is a really practical stop over just minutes off of the A75, with water and grey and black waste dumps. no electric but we’re motorhomers so should be self sufficient. 10 minute stroll to the lovely old village. If only the UK had places like this.

Lovely stopover situated between the river and town. Easy access, spacious pitches and all services for €12.20. What more do we need.

Beautiful location on the side of the canal. unfortunately lots of French campers parking inconsiderately but we managed to squeeze in. Easy stroll into town for local shops.

A really convenient site for Calais but do give the walled town (just behind the Aire) a visit, plenty of cafés in the square. I’ve stayed here a few time (now that the Cite Europe Aires are closed) and the pay machine has never worked.

A nice stop in the heart of the town. All services available. The Château is worth a visit and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the town.

A lovely peaceful site with parking on the lake side. We don’t need electric hook up but all the other vans were connected. There is a bar terrace on the lake and we had a relaxing drink while watching the setting sun. AND ALL FOR 6€ PER NIGHT! What’s not to like.

Lovely certified location. water and hook up available. On a working farm with fruit picking (in season), a cafe and children’s playground. great walks in the surrounding countryside.

It is huge and quite disorganised. It’s okay if you’re pushed for somewhere to stay (due to its size you should find a spot) but otherwise there are far better Stellplatz available.

Great stellplatz. Very helpful management. Nice terrace restaurant at the campsite. Very convenient for the picturesque town. All facilities and to be frank, I can’t see why you would pay the extra to be on the adjacent campsite. On arrival all the riverside pitches were taken but a couple of spaces became vacant the next morning.

Nice site on the side of the Rhine. Lovely bier Keller 5 minutes along the riverbank. The town was a bit of a letdown.

A nice site just outside the picturesque seaside town. The site is divided by hedges with 2 pitches per space, we were here in mid August and it was quite empty and so we had 1 space to ourselves but it would be a bit cramped otherwise but we are 2.55m wide so don’t be put off.

A nice spacious aire in the heart of the historic naval dockyard. A nice vibe with waterside bars and restaurants within 200m. A short walk to one of shopping streets and an easy walk or cycle to the Texel ferry.

Typical Dutch marina stopover. Clean and efficiently laid out with all facilities (except no grey water dump) and easy access to the pretty town. The Jopie Huisman museum/gallery is a must see.

Perfect (virtually) town centre parking with nice sized dedicated motorhome pitches. We couldn’t get the payment machine to accept our MasterCard and had insufficient coins but a phone call to an English speaking attendant and he logged the time and said just pay when you get back from town.

Can’t really fault this lovely little site. Very welcoming reception, beautifully maintained, easy walk into the centre of town and bordering on cheap at €12.5 per night.

A really good location and very pleasant reception but we paid € 36 per night for a so called VIP pitch but to be honest we couldn’t discern any difference. The high cost could be justified if the facilities we not very very basic in fact temporary. The museum is an easy bike ride away and the town has an okay supermarket and a few restaurants & bars.

Nice aire right on the edge of the pretty town. Satnav took us in through the centre of the old town and at 2.55m wide & 8.5m long it was a bit of a squeeze. The easy road in is Grootheggerlaan just out of town.

Simple overnight stop. Limited facilities but it is adjacent to the city walls so in 3 minutes you’re in the delightful old town with it’s shops, restaurants and bars.

Nice aire, secure and safe but the restaurant in the campsite is fabulous. It’s a 20 minute walk to the busy centre of Argeles with it’s shops, restaurants etc

Handy stop over. Can’t fault the site but we arrived 25.09.19 and the surrounding town was completely closed down. No bars, restaurants etc open. Good thing the supermarket was open.

Brilliant stop over, more like a campsite than an Aire. We turned up and it was full but the owner said he would have places tomorrow and if we didn’t mind we could park on the end of the pitches till then. He even discounted the price! Cannot fault this place.

Perfect place to visit the lovely city of Nancy. We arrived at 3pm and got the last space so it’s best to arrive a bit earlier. Nancy is a bustling city with some sights and the old centre is an easy 15 minute walk.

2 van spaces means it can be very hit and miss as to whether you get on or not. There is other parking adjacent if you are stuck or the municipal camp site is only 200 m away. The town is pretty but not overly blessed with cafes or bars. 6 stars is only because of the limited spaces available.

Just a small Aire dedicated for Motorhomes adjacent to the main road. No services but okay for an overnight stop.

A brilliant stop! Very welcoming owner and son who gave us our 1st beer for free! The food is good and very reasonably priced and the restaurant garden stretches down to the beach. We had a very relaxing stay and would thoroughly recommend it. It’s a little piece of paradise!

Typical marina parking. There is shore power for the boats and this costs €5 if you hook up otherwise parking is free. The town is entirely centred around the visiting cruise ships that use the port and when one is moored up, the shops and restaurants are busy but as soon as the ship goes virtually all of the shops and most of the restaurants close up.

Nice site with a lovely pool and right on the beach. We were here in early May and the market, restaurant and bar were not yet open. Nice clean sanitary facilities if a bit dated. Helpful staff with good English. The town is a bit too far to walk to but a easy cycle ride.

Typical Greek campsite. Facilities a bit dated but entirely functional with typically friendly Greek staff. Stoupa beach is 5 minutes walk away with its numerous tavernas and shops. On the day we left, the whole of Stoupa had a power cut and they couldn’t process our card payment. “Don’t worry said the owner, here’s my bank details, pay me when you get back to England.) 10 stars is not enough!!

Typical marina parking. We were here in early May and couldn’t get on to the allotted space, so no hook up but parked at the end of the line of vans which was okay with the port manager. Kalamata itself was a bit too busy for us so we only stayed one night. Plenty of touristy restaurants along the port road.

Parking on the quayside. No facilities but a lovely little town, full of authentic Greek atmosphere with plenty of tavernas and shops all within 200 metres.

Ideal site for visiting the archeological site although it is a 1 in 10 hill. Very helpful owner speaks good English. Very clean sanitary facilities. Pitches nicely laid out and everything is well maintained. Small shop for essentials and a nice restaurant & bar with terrace.

8 stars even though it has no facilities! A great location and ideal for visiting the old town. The location in CamperContact is incorrect. This is the only authorised stopover for motorhomes and the coordinates are 36.68238/23.03916 we were here over the Greek Easter holiday and it was quiet and secure. Would thoroughly recommend. The view from our window was spectacular.

Lovely campsite in a great location. Typically friendly Greek owner with excellent English. The roads in are a bit small but our 8.6x2.55x3.6m rig got in okay. Sanitary facilities were fine. Wi-Fi reception was okay. A 5 minute stroll along the beach is the small harbour with plenty of tavernas and a couple of mini markets. We will definitely return.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of April and really can’t fault it. Superb sanitary and Spa facilities. Good sized pitches. Reasonable restaurant and really helpful staff. An easy bus ride into Venice.

A typical Greek campsite. Facilities nothing to write home about but the owner, Costas, couldn’t do enough for us, including staying on until 1am to welcome us after a late ferry. No problems with access for our 8.5m x 2.55m van.

Stayed here for 2 days 06-08.04.19 & the site wasn’t quite up and running (shop & restaurant not open) otherwise would have been 10 but the beach side pitch was perfect. Staff very helpful. sanitary blocks very good. We will return.

Lovely tranquil parking spot by the side of the canal. Very peaceful and felt very safe (this is Belgium after all).

Brilliant Aree de Sosta just a 5 minute walk to the lake and lovely old town. We arrived on Thursday and it was quite empty but filled up on Friday for the weekend. Really helpful attendants.

Stopped here in order to visit the beautiful city of Vicenza. €10 for 24 hours which includes up to 5 return bus fares into the city. Access into the Aree was a bit tight for our 8.8m long 2.55m wide motorhome but easily navigated. The site was perfectly safe and we spoke to an Italian who “has an arrangement with the attendants” to store his van here and has never had any trouble.

We stopped here on route to Italy and although they were full, the very helpful staff managed to squeeze us in. Supermarket and restaurant adjacent to the site. Altdorf (2k easy walk) is well worth a visit.

Great stop for visiting Padua. Price is €8 for 24 hours. All services available for nominal additional charge, electricity is €2 for 8 hours. Tickets for the tram are available from the bar at the tram stand for €1.25 each way to the centre of the city.

Great stop over. There are restrictions for vehicles over 7.5t but they are “sauf livraisons” so it’s okay

Brilliant aire. Virtually next door to the palace. Free EHU. Bus stops to Lisbon etc are at the access to the car park.

The best campsite in Paris. Regular shuttle bus to the metro makes access to the whole city really easy. Friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent aire situated a 15 minute stroll into the lovely and lively old town. What more could you want. Make sure you have €10 in coins to pay.

Basic aire on mostly flat mixed parking. No service. Supermarket 50m, nice local cafe bar in the parade behind. It’s well worth the 20 minute walk into the old town which is well stocked with good restaurants, Tapas bars and shops.

The closest site to the centre of Benidorm. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Julio provides superb free animations and fitness classes. Nice terrace bar although we didn’t try the restaurant. Shower blocks cleaned 4 times a day. Indoor and outdoor pools. Good sized pitches and we easily got our 8.5m van on. Really friendly and helpful staff. ACSI accepted. No dogs allowed.

Free aire with all services bar electricity. Shops and restaurants just two minutes walk away. Aire is large and by the side of the river. Make sure you eat at the relais hotel - great service, unlimited buffet, main meal, plate of cheeses, dessert, wine, bread and coffee; all for 28 euros for two people. Amazing value, good food and beautifully presented.

Aire right in the centre of town in a pretty spot alongside the river. Services apart from electricity. Supermarket, restaurants, cafes, banks and shops all minutes walk away. Picturesque little town with ancient buildings, little bridges and a river running through it. Pretty spot with lots of facilities . Spent a quiet night with four other motorhomes on site. Peaceful and safe. Recommend.

Excellent aire in a spectacular setting at the foot of a grand Château and in the River Loire. Toilets, borne and dump spot on site. Suitable for large motorhome like us too. Charming medieval village just a few minutes walk away with shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Caves ( grottes) close by and tourist information in town square. Enchanting place!

Superb stop! Completely free.. including electricity! Lovely chateau and you park with a view of the vineyards . No street lights so the night sky is beautifully star-speckled. What a sublime place to stop. Thank you chateau owners.

Poor campsite, tight spaces, 3 km from town not 1 km as website claims, scruffy outskirts of town , muddy beach, do not recommend.

Sadly, pitches very tight, bar, restaurant and swimming pool closed. Very few eating places open and Restaurant del Mar served pink chicken ( yuk) and a different meal to the locals - unbelievably noisy too ! Town is 3 km away not 1 km and beach scruffy. A huge disappointment. Not to be recommended.

Wonderful site, central position, electricity, good showers and toilets, bar, cafe, helpful staff ( especially Caterina) , good laundry facilities and five minutes walk to the beach and five minutes walk to the lagoon in the other direction. Shops, restaurants, tourist office, ATM. Loved our time here. Only downside - incredibly loud cleaners some mornings. Highly recommend.

Overpriced, poor facilities, no water in shower block, no electricity, restaurant closed in a Tuesday, isolated, nearest shop 6km away. No chimique, no grey water dump, no hook up. Lovely welcome though and the proprietor did buy us a loaf of bread but did not give it to us until the next day. Fabulous location though but you need to be self sufficient.

Stunning location but only viable if you are totally self sufficient . No electricity- we plugged into the socket in the shower block and were charged ten euros extra for the privilege! No water in the shower block; directed to a rather primitive alternative with broken shower attachment, slow drainage in the shower tray and you have to dress in an open area with no outside door. Cost €28

Not ideal to sleep under the motorway but if you park on the furthest side it’s fine. Few minutes walk to the centre of the old town and the canal. Sunday morning there is a large bric-a-brac market held in the fish market building and surrounding streets. Recommend A Capella restaurant - bread, olives, cheese, chicken soup, lamb in port, wine/beer and coffee all for ten euros each. Great food.

Great location overlooking the bay. The bulk of the marked bays are fine for 7.5 m vans with the bays at the bottom better for longer vans. Easy walk into the town.

Easy to find with good access, straightforward walk into town. We were here for 2 nights in October and it was full both nights but thinned out during the day.

Absolutely brilliant aire! Stop at the garage opposite 1st for extremely helpful service & instructions. All facilities are on site. Everything is spotless & very well maintained.

Convenient for visiting Bordeaux - tram station 20 minutes walk away and tram takes 25 minutes into the centre of Bordeaux. Very welcoming, beautiful location looking over vineyards with chateau and grounds to one side. Their wine is excellent! Quiz trail through grounds provided with both adult and child versions. Good access and lots of room on pitch. Highly recommend .

Great aire. Hookups are limited, so get here early if you need it. The entrance is tight if arriving with the aire on your right. Easy walk into town.

Very convienient and well kept free Aire

It's a bit tricky to find as it's hidden behind the arts centre but once you get through the barrier by phoning the number advertised, it's secure and very convienient for the centre of Reims. We walked up through the park at the rear of the Aire and across the bridge over the motorway.

Free parking, next to a police station, convenient for shopping and Channel crossing. Quiet and convenient.

An old, rather run down campsite but very convenient to get to the centre of town via tram or train. Hard standing limited but campsite owners helpful. Large quiet site just a short walk from the bus/train stop.

Well maintained Stellplatz , convenient for the beautifully picturesque town. ( Not to be missed!) Ensure you have a supply of one and two euro coins for the parking fee as the machine only takes German credit/debit cards.

Site very convenient for this charming town but ensure you have a supply of 1 and 2 Euro coins at hand for the parking ticket ! Short walk across the bridge to the Old Town and the Dom. Safe, convenient and functional.

It’s the only site open for a winter visit to Vienna. Facilities in the main were good. Easy bus & train ride into the city centre.

We were here just before Christmas and I cannot rate it highly enough. The owner speaks English and was very helpful. It’s just a 2 minute walk to the tram that takes you right into the centre of town.

The location is perfect for visiting Dresden. The beautiful old town is just a short walk over the bridge and is not to be missed.
