we are here end of October, we like the place for it’s quiet and lovely view of the sea . For sure as others have said it’s rather dated but the showers are clean and hot . The owners are friendly and in season I would expect the restaurant is popular, but now we are the only ones here . You can swim in the sea although there are some pebbles . Lastly I don’t understand others reviews about overhanging trees and we are 3.10m and no problems

Near sports field room for 8 campers but we are on our own , quiet on week day not sure at weekends , 15 min walk into tidy town . Water seemed to be off at service point in October . There are lights and security campers watching the site so hopefully safe .

Good cheap aire , here with 3 others . Pay with credit card to get in , seems fine . If you need to get your dog worming/ ahc . I recommend Opal vets just down the road , very quick and friendly

It was a very wind while we were there and we ended up on our own . Good for a walk along the coast and into town. Services were very poor and smelly , no water on . Paid 16e for 23 hours which is expensive for what you get , however I did notice it’s the same price on all the parking meters in town so guess that’s fair ( a man did come around checking too )It’s just an expensive town and we won’t be back

just a car park, people have been dumping wc waste in the grey water floor drain rather than pay 4euros .

Here in December, water all off and building work going on so best avoid for a while

Horrible in winter , just all mud everywhere, Didn’t fancy using the old water tap , we moved on . Probably very nice in middle of summer

Here on a snowy November day, only ones here . Good service area and water supply , electric hook up worked . The toilet block was all shut up except for the disabled one , but we didn’t need that . Great view from the campsite and the town is nice . We would happily come here again in warmer weather

Stayed overnight here with one other van, guess you should go to the campsite next door but it was late when we arrived

liked it here , stayed two quiet nights . Arrive early to get a good place , service area well used but all ok . Good fishing from the jetty if you are lucky , nice beach too

This place was good for us as we wanted a cheap place to visit Porto by bicycle( just follow the coast 7 miles) , it was only 15euro without electric. The showers were damn hot 🥵, jump in and out again quick , it was the hottest shower I have ever had .

Here on a sunny weekend, 30 plus campers all lined up . I think we were the only foreign camper but it was all very friendly. Lots of fishing going on so bring bait , I tried with a spinning loure but no luck .

Here tonight, only one here so far , flat hard standing. Service area good and all quiet, farmer has his tractor opposite in a garage and gave us a smile

Came for one night but stayed 5 , lovely place if it’s not windy . It was only 6 euro without electric which is amazing for the location. As others have said avoid the weekend if possible and you can get a river view . camper service area was good too

Stayed again , last time was 11 years ago and it’s just the same basic place but the location great . We put the 6euro in the honesty box in a envelope with camper registration number on . Later in the evening a gentleman came ,thanked us and gave a receipt. . Thanks for a good stop over see you again one day

Old campsite, just drive right in and find a place . Do not be tempted to check in at what looks like the reception as that is a Covid testing site 😷 so best avoid that bit as much as possible as you don’t want to be near people who think they have symptoms 😬. Otherwise great spot despite the old facilities being very run down

It looked ok and there were quite a few campers already there

only a service area no where to park overnight, the service area is at the exit from the fuel station and quite tight to manoeuvre so be careful big campers . No key needed and all very good. Thanks Intermarche

Here In October all quiet , great campsite with the best showers we ever had in a campsite, wifi worked well, shop is good and well stocked and the reception girl spoke English well and was friendly. will come again

Very nice place very clean and plentiful facilities, plenty of shade if needed . We met permanent residents who have been there 30 years and very happy , wish we could have stayed longer . Nice town nearby, best cycle if you can as you have to go through past some industrial units which wouldn’t be nice on foot

Friendly owners and great price with electric , water and drain all included. I recommend if you need a stop over , you can even go shopping at lidl right next door . we will return one day

Good free spot by the sea , we initially parked along the road a bit as suggested by others but the police 👮‍♀️ came and moved everyone parked here to the dusty car park .

Its ok , price for us was €15 per night which seems higher than others said ? walkable to the beach or cycle . Only negative is really bad smell from the drains, I guess they are not plumed properly with out a water trap

Great winter stop ,for a night or two 15 euro with out electric. Lady in reception said to go anywhere we liked , however later a stressful gentleman in a van made us move because we were in an electric hook up space even though the campsite was half empty, maybe they like you to pay the extra 3 euro ? , we would visit again if we wanted a one night stop . Didn’t like Lorette de mar much as they don’t seem to like dogs even on a patch of grass

Well that was fun, the parking machine is only in Spanish and yes complicated as others have said but somehow I managed to input the car number and pay 8euros so hopefully that’s it .

This place is an old campsite with grass and nice pitches, unfortunately it’s near a main road so a bit noisy however once in the camper its fine . We had to sign up with “Camping car park “so we paid €15 all in . There is an abandoned camper near the entrance at the moment, doesn’t look good .

The lady of the campsite came out when we arrived , looked at our uk 🇬🇧 number plate and said no can’t come in :-( even though the place was half empty. Then a French van behind us was allowed !! Looking at other reviews it seems this lady hates people from other countries so best avoid

It’s a dusty gravel aire, but just a short walk to the beach . Best come into the town via D1118 if you can as the lanes are very narrow and bumpy

A good parking location , easy walk down to the village. We decided not to stay and pay the extra e10 seeing there is no water or drain , we went to Gramat aire where there is water etc for free

Too much of a slope for us so we went 10k further to Meuzac

Nice quiet spot , I got a bit worried on the way into the village had to go past quite a few 3.5t limit signs , here anyway . there are only paces for 5 campers but 12 are here spread around the car park. There is a drain and a tap but we won’t be filling up as we can’t imagine it being very hygienic as it’s the only one for everything

We had a bit of trouble finding the place , it’s on the left heading out of town so ignore the sign that points to the right

looked a good place but couldn’t get it as was “Complet” full and barrier wouldn’t lift yet loads of spaces left presumably due to Covid . Annoying as we had driven a long way

yes you can have free water and waste if there are no cars in the way . Couldn’t stay overnight as the small area had cars parked and the sign that had reserved for campers has been painted over so I guess we are no longer welcome.

Great place , mostly sloping unless you get one at the cliff edge which we were lucky go get . Fabulous view and lovely walks along coast path , some go swimming when the tide is in

Nice popular place even end of October but plenty of room, quiet and dark at night .Info board says max stay 24 hours

Great location near the green cycle route to Dinard or Dinan , free water and drain . Seven campers here last night , a bit of noise from comings and goings to the recycling bins but not a problem . Bakery down the road is good too

One other camper here tonight , very quiet spot .The access road is narrow and yes the trees are a little low but no problems

Arrived here after reading good reviews, but looks like I’ll be sleeping with one eye open tonight and listening for any unusual sounds . The fair or gypsies are in half of the place today and there’s scrap cars and what look like abandoned vans . Oh well too late in the day to move on , so fingers crossed .

No water or drain , no problem for us tonight, popular spot for dog walkers and cyclists ( route adjacent). Seems very quiet and nice spot on edge of village and vineyard , looking forward to cycle ride tomorrow

Great location, feels secure , no problems ,we walked into Venice with our dog . Yes it is expensive but everything is here but worth it , we ended up paying for 48hours

Arrived here on a Saturday in October, it’s a small carpark for about 25 cars not as it appeared in pics , it was completely full so wasted trip couldn’t stop 😬

I live locally and although you should have a good night here the stop over at Appledore is much better

We live in Appledore and love to see visitors stop over here . Take a walk along Irsha Street and market street, enjoy some fish n chips and chill out in a pub 😊 **Top tip don’t follow sat nav along Staddon road as it gets very narrow, instead keep going straight down the hill **
