Indeed, it's high season and there are still spots available even in the evening. Perfect base for visiting Bergen. The tram runs past and you are there in a 3-minute walk. There is nothing else there, but it's fine for this purpose!

No place for the camper. Hundreds of permanent “little houses” with regular guests in neat rows with identical fences. The facilities are all fine, mind you, but there is no camping atmosphere. People are working on the shelters everywhere. On top of that, it looks like some kind of dog park; they are everywhere. I found €50 per night in the low season very expensive for 2 adults and 2 children. Not coming back for us.

Together with our daughters, we had a fantastic time on Rik and Odilia's farm. They have created such a beautiful and lovely place ❤️ Every morning and evening, you can join Farmer Rik to visit the animals. We even got to bottle-feed the lambs. Their motto is 'nothing is mandatory and almost everything is allowed,' and you can really feel that. Riding on the tractor, building a campfire, having a nice chat, cuddling with the animals. What was supposed to be just one night turned into almost a week! Highly recommended!

Large campsite designed for travelers. Fresh bread rolls are available in the morning and there's a restaurant next to the entrance. All sanitary facilities are being renovated. It already looks great.
