It's a shame indeed, but we agree with the previous writer; we witnessed it too. These campers, with such a monster of a camper, destroy a section of the beautiful lawn and then let their dog do its business without cleaning up after them. Such behavior is completely contrary to the code of conduct of well-meaning campers.

The place is and remains fine. Upon arrival, the payment terminal turned out to be broken. We called the person in charge, but he couldn't fix the problem either. So we paid the man in cash. We were then able to enter through the exit.

Spacious and quiet campsite for the self-sufficient camper. Feel free to take an example from the city of Dilsen Stokkem that this accommodation offers us. The area surrounding the Maas Valley is a delight for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers. What else do you want for zero euros?

Highly recommended, booking online is the message. The local kiosk doesn't work at all and that has reportedly been the case for months. 2 out of 3 arriving campers drive away because check-in is not possible. Water is still turned off on March 8, customer service from the city of Tongeren is nowhere to be found.

Beautiful CP with a correct price. there are short and longer pitches. The tram within walking distance will take you to the heart of Essen within half an hour. Tram does indeed stop a little further due to road works, replacement buses take travelers further.

Quiet small-scale camper place as there would be many more. Reception by the owner is excellent as described earlier. We have sanitary facilities on board, so why should we have to pay extra for this? We will gladly come back here again.

Currently quite quiet in this beautiful location. The long-term parkers who call themselves generals here are gone. The payment terminal works, but there is no ticket, so quickly take a photo of your code. All in all, a nice motorhome for years for an acceptable price.

indeed it is and remains a beautiful location. unfortunate as already mentioned, permanent residents continue to rule here. they have already reached the point where they demarcate their private place with a post and boards when they are away for a few days. this must be limited in the interests of everyone.
