A great base for exploring the Hoge Kempen region. Two lovely cafes are within walking distance, and Gasterie de Fontein is highly recommended for lunch or dinner. Hospitable owners and excellent bathroom facilities.

Since the new owner (1-1-2024) the sanitary facilities and the environment have been greatly improved. but it is still a small campsite where you can go where you want. Very friendly welcome, small bar with snack bar, sup rental, direct access to the lake. Restaurant within walking distance

Wonderfully quiet camper places on the water. Sanitary facilities insufficient for the number of available places. 1 toilet and 1 shower in the same building (so no separate toilet) for 30 camper pitches. There was also not enough cleaning, spider webs, dead flies, dirty floor and a cleaning lady who some days did not come by at all

Nice location, beautiful trees offer lots of shade, nice walk along the lake. Spacious camping places, also enough flat places. Sanitary somewhat outdated but clean. Toilets also wide accessible for size 42 :)

If you stand at the back of the campsite, there is noise from the motorway behind, but the places here are more spacious than on the rest of the campsite. You can change places if you ask. Bread service and a nice swimming pool. Plumbing is okay. WCs newer than shower room. Did not experience any nuisance from mosquitoes that are mentioned in other reviews. No cockroach seen too :)
