The parking space is in a good location. It's a bit cramped here (distance to the neighbor). It's unclear why the use of the sanitary facilities (toilet only - no shower) is time-limited.

Pleasant parking space, not far from the city center. Industrial area with shops within walking distance. The site manager comes twice a day, not only to check parking tickets but also to ensure everything is in order and to help if needed. The sanitary facilities could be improved in terms of functionality. The waste disposal area is too far from the parking space. The electrical hookups should be checked (the measured kWh readings are not accurate).

The site also has a limited number of outdoor pitches for motorhomes for €15/24 hours, including use of the impeccably maintained sanitary facilities. Electricity is available on demand for an additional fee. Highly recommended, not just for those just passing through. We will definitely use the campsite on our next visit. It's a really lovely facility. Regarding the location: Pappenheim is charming, but it needs more development... ...

Perfect pitch in all seasons. Great location and absolutely quiet. Very helpful management should any problems arise. However, the price is now €22, not €15. The only issue: the ticket machine unfortunately couldn't print a confirmation.

So far, so good. Good and quiet location right on the Moselle River. However: the ticket machine was broken. It wouldn't accept the €10 motorhome parking fee. So we had to pay the full price of €15 for less than 10 hours of parking without any amenities.

Beautifully situated pitch, less than 100m from the Rhine riverbank. €20 including electricity. Friendly hosts. If the hum of the heavy cargo ships' diesel engines at night doesn't bother you, this is a great place. And actually, there's something to that about it. After all, the Rhine is a historic trade route... We were here in January, and it was quiet. However, the leisure activities offered by Xanten suggest that the site will be quite busy from spring to autumn.
