Spacious, pleasant mixed parking lot near the famous, approximately 1,000-year-old Kvill oak. Well worth a visit! During the day, many short-term visitors, at night, utterly silent. With a view of beautiful pastureland with red-and-white cows. A picture!

We agree with the previous camera bag, it really is a very nice and quiet spot!

So glad we chose this spot! We enjoyed the view and the peace and quiet. The tilt wasn't too bad either. It's great that something like this still exists for free (with a toilet, so no running water, but it's clean)!

Wonderful, a CP like this in a well-maintained spot under the trees, in a very quiet location in the town, with a playground and toilets just 50 meters away! Just short of 5 stars because there's no lighting, which is a bit tricky if you arrive in the dark.

The policy regarding free facilitation has changed this year: If a minimum of £15 is spent in the pub for 2 people or £10 for 1 person, you can stay overnight for free. Otherwise you pay this amount for 1 night. This has now been added to the review at the request of the owner.

Just stood here for a few hours for a city visit..ideal. There is a new electricity column with 4 connections. I don't know exactly how it works (pay by card or free?) but there was power so I took advantage of it. The added photo is of the building behind it, which recently burned down completely. Too bad, also for the view!

Small but very child-friendly campsite with a very clear, beautiful website. Excellent overnight stay here, 22 pounds for a place without electricity, but with free shower. All facilities available, except gray water discharge. The very friendly couple keep various farm animals, which the children can feed and pet with them (including 2 donkeys).

Stood for a night at the newly constructed camper site, still without electricity. What a beautiful view! Nice to see all those especially young bikers. The water pressure and temperature in the showers could still be improved somewhat. Sanitary facilities are otherwise fine and clean.

We arrived too early, the reception didn't open until 4 p.m.! After taking a look at the campsite, we came to the conclusion that this was not a campsite but a mobile home park and we then opted for another one nearby.

Nice quiet place in a beautiful large park. Toilet cabin about 3 minutes walk in the park. Very well maintained playground. Enough pubs etc. within walking distance.

Have been here several times with great pleasure. When you arrive from Hoek van Holland in the evening, it is about a 10-minute drive and you are already standing! Relax and start the adventure the next day!

Spent the night here last night, nice and quiet. Shame about all the waste. Friendly service. It was pointed out that there is no camera surveillance at the P. Sanitary clean. Unfortunately, we really didn't like the food: the grilled (medium!) meat was dry and well done and the fries had black specks all over them...

It's nice that you can stand freely, but the location of the Sani Column and the incomprehensible explanation of it is really a shame. When we arrived there was a passenger car at the dumping ground, belonging to a family who used the children's playground right next to it. Really not hygienic at all!

Spent the night here on March 20, a wonderful place. With an adventurous walk to the Pic in the afternoon (bring sticks and good walking shoes!) What a beautiful environment, even though nature has only just emerged from hibernation!
Sitecode: 108140
Unfortunately, we made our trip here for nothing: the campsite is closed! See picture. Tonight I went to the website and it turned out that the campsite only opens on 15/6! So be warned, the opening hours are not correct.

There is an event in the sports hall so everything is full of cars. Column with provision packed thickly against the cold, so 3 times nothing.

Really great, this free place! If only there were these places everywhere! And you also get the beautiful surroundings (walking around the lake)!

This was a very good start to our early spring break! Very friendly welcome, nice quiet place and tasty tourist menu! What difference does a little rain make?

Excellent, well-constructed CP with electricity in almost all (spacious) places. Good base to visit the Christmas market in Bruges and the beautiful town itself! In low season now 25 euros, high season 30.

A warm welcome, excellent spacious and modern sanitary facilities and beautiful surroundings, what more could you want? Yes, better weather, but we will definitely come back here. Hats off!!

Wonderful place to stay! Everything in deep peace, restaurant also closed when we arrived here last night (Tuesday). Must be different in the summer...
Sitecode: 74922
Wonderfully quiet and fully equipped, including nice farm animals. Do have some cash with you, because pins are not allowed! Information on the envelope, money in it and in the blue mailbox: pretty handy, so continue! We will certainly not have enough for 1 night next time, because the area is also beautiful - especially in good weather ....

Other management (tenants), so different prices: 29 euros all-in, ie 16.50 place; 5 pp; 1.25 tour.bel.pp. Then you also have everything, shower is not possible separately. It is a super nice toilet block. You have to arrange the sauna with the old owners, for 13 euros pp. Little opportunity for the dog to exhaust.

Wonderfully quiet here. They are clearly working on a kind of recreation area where there is plenty to do. Also 4 super nice camper pitches and sanitary facilities almost ready. Very nice landscaped river swimming pool, with kiosk, and new playground. All this will not remain free, however.

Very quiet and idyllic spot!! Also very.nice old village to view! And the dog takes you straight into the woods. Super!
Sitecode: 556
Although we also enjoyed being here, the amount we had to pay afterwards was much larger than stated here! Count on almost 30 euros for 2 people. with an average power consumption of 3 kW per day. (8 euros pp, 7 euros place, electricity connection costs, Kurtaxt etc.).

What a rest here! Stood 1 night, but will definitely come back. Nice exhaust option too. for the dog.

Today we wanted to stand here and eat, but everything appears to be closed for a while!! According to a handwritten note, there are problems with the kitchen renovation, which means that it is not possible to serve. According to a businesswoman in a village further on, there is a new owner and there is more going on... So no hotel-restaurant for the time being! ..

It is recommended to use coordinates! Had a great meal here last night for a very reasonable price. Too bad that the plumbing is really dirty and old.
Sitecode: 47384
The P still doesn't exist anymore! This was already reported in July 2020 and is still not accessible due to the fallen / blown down trees at the entrance

Here on June 15th. want to stay overnight. Looks like the pub hasn't been around for a long time!!

We were looking forward to a pleasant Irish evening, but on arrival tonight everything turned out to be completely closed. Tried to find out what was going on, but both the phone no. if the website were unreachable.....!
Sitecode: 27573
Actually, this is a 5 star view, and walking on the dried up shore of the lake is also nice and fun, but the car visit (with 1 man each time) until the beginning of the night gave us an "uncanny" feeling.

After the CP in Garrykennedy turned out to be packed, drove here. Quiet, nice and clean place!! With park, so also for the dog. Need blocks. Slept well and this morning walked around the castle ruins and harbor.
Sitecode: 28965
Arrived today at the almost empty CP. In the bar we were told that the amount was 15 euros without electricity, 20 with. Stayed, nice place, but paid expensive (15,-) for a place without facilities
Sitecode: 54618
Lovely quiet well-maintained campsite run by hospitable Ned. married couple. Recommended. Lots of info available, as well as a delicious package of barbecue meat from the local butcher!
Sitecode: 77986
Beautifully situated CP in a nice cozy village with good restaurant La Tannerie across the bridge at the bridge. Place well marked on map, but coordinates are not correct. Turn right at the Bureau de Tourisme to the P on the water, where you will find the CP at the end of it. Coordinates there: N 47.23.1278, O 06.46.3729

Spent the night here on the way to the Vosges. Nicely maintained village with ditto motorhome. Here is also the test street, but it was very quiet! Wonderfully quiet night and awakened in the morning by the chattering of students who came to play sports in the many sports accommodations here. We could also walk the dog in the greenery. We will definitely do it again because it was a great experience!
