Lovely and cozy campsite! Be sure to have coffee with the farmer and other campers in the morning. Almost all pitches have an unobstructed view (and a paved surface). Great cycling in the surrounding area. The campsite is located at junction 11.

Great campsite, a field (just like everywhere in the UK). We had a pitch near the entrance. Excellent showers (they apparently listened to the comments from some previous reviews). A double hook has been added, new shower curtains by the sink, and a great shower head (pointing downwards) with a wonderful spray. A half-hour walk to the quay/beachβsteep thoughβand a delicious meal at a fish restaurant. Today we tried the Coastal Path.

a lovely place, lovely to watch boats on a very spacious lawn. Unfortunately, free places are almost always occupied. Supermarket and eateries nearby, museum is behind your place, public toilet 500 meters. Not realized as an asthma patient: when the wind is towards you - Eemshaven 1 & 2 opposite you and the many ships - you can smell and notice it. make sure you have your inhalation with you. π€

Nice camper place. We come here at least once a year. Nice combination; free overnight place against surrender of the receipt of (the excellent) restaurant the Ijzeren Pot

I also visited this campsite 15 years ago. Nothing has changedπ still a warm welcome in the reception caravan. Camping discount card they still do not do, the sanitary building will be placed about 12 years ago. Walking to the center via the boulevard or by bike, or you take the bus. Great campsite to explore Galway.

We had beautiful views. Outdated but well maintained campsite. Owner did the laundry and hung it up on the clothesline, we were allowed to take it off ourselves.

Very friendly welcome from the owner. Camping was almost full, the owner apologized for the place he had to offer us on the grass (great place!). Got a lot of tips. The bus to Dublin stops at the door. Return is β¬ 13 per person, journey of 5 minutes. Departure 10 am - return journey from Dublin 7 pm. 1 day Dublin we found enough. Nice area to explore :)

We arrived on Sunday 9 July 2017 on a journey and asked at this (2nd) campsite for a place for 2 nights. A very nice, good English-speaking lady helped us, no problem. When she realized that our camper (Adriatic, FIAT Ducato 2.8 bus camper) was not that big (just 6 meters) she spontaneously offered this place. What a mistake we had! What a wonderful place, from the camper bus.
