Along the approximately 2 km at the top of the pass, there are a number of places where you can park. The car park at the border post is the least attractive; look elsewhere along the side of the road. About halfway along (by the Chanousia botanical garden), there is a service area. Still busy during the day, but wonderfully quiet at night. Stunning surroundings with many hiking opportunities.

Tight spots on the asphalt car park, but if you park by the river, there is a small grassy area at the back for your table and chairs. Limited restrooms. The Ruitor waterfalls are highly recommended (as is the walk of a few kilometers to the start of the route).

Not really cozy in this large parking lot, but on the other hand not too expensive, plenty of space, clean sanitary facilities, free shuttle throughout the valley.

Spacious pitches. Clean and ample sanitary facilities and other amenities. Aosta is easy to reach by bike. The only downside: a lot of noise from the nearby motorway, and (sometimes) from the sports fields next door.

Messy and somewhat run-down campsite. Not really geared towards motorhomes (servicing costs an extra 10 EUR on top of the already expensive pitch). On the other hand, a beautiful location with a view of Mont Blanc, and the village of La Salle is highly recommended. Friendly reception.

Stayed one night while passing through. More of a tent campsite, definitely not suitable for larger campers. We didn't even have room to set up a table. Limited sanitary facilities for the size of the campsite and outdated. Too expensive, therefore. Still three stars (location on the Rhine & the interesting Augusta Raurica nearby). Unfortunately, we only saw a few quiet campervan sites on the other side of the Rhine near the hydroelectric power plant the day after. Location added.

We stayed here for two nights, at the back with a view of the fields. Very quiet, spacious, clean and very friendly reception. No WiFi, but that's no problem. The village of Locmariaquer is charming and you can cycle to Carnac via beautiful routes. A top location for us!
