Camper site on a very large lawn, so there's plenty of room for everyone. Camping is permitted. The facilities are very basic, but it works. The owner comes by late in the afternoon to collect 10 pounds. Four stars because of the ample space.

Very spacious and quiet parking lot. A perfect location for visiting the Iron Bridge and the many surrounding museums. Madeley has three large supermarkets about 500 meters from this parking lot.

I was here on September 1, 2025. Once you've found it, it's indeed a beautiful spot. However, the given coordinates take you to the beginning of a path, without any signage, where it's not located. Therefore, use (53.25235, -4.39772). Open the locked gate yourself there (also without signage) and you're there. Facilities are very basic, with no solution for gray water and no waste bin (only a bin for dog poop).

Stayed here on August 23, 2025. There's really nothing nearby, but it's also free, so it's mainly suitable for overnight stays. Diagonally across from it is a gas station with a small shop. There's a trash can at the shop entrance, and restrooms are on the side. That's why it's rated 3 stars.

Stayed here for two nights on August 19, 2025. Pleasant, quiet parking lot, especially compared to the parking lot further up (site code 49830). Ideally located for visiting the Giant Causeway. Supermarket within walking distance.

A beautiful green spot with a sea view, perfect for exploring Belfast by bike. It's best to come later in the afternoon, as most day trippers have already left. It's a better place to park your campervan. The best spots are right at the back. There's a restroom facility, but it closes in the evening.

Luxurious campervan site, each with its own water hookup and drain (provided you have a hose, otherwise you'll need buckets). Unfortunately, our drain was clogged. There is a luxurious laundry facility that uses tokens. Obtaining these tokens is a challenge, as the park manager only visits briefly and not at set times. The surrounding area is beautiful for walking.

It's a great base for exploring Derry, on foot or by bike. Turn left to the back and you'll find yourself in a nice, quiet spot.

We arrived late, and there were several empty spots that were still available the next morning, but the reception claimed everything was full. It was as if access is reserved only for those who book in advance for multiple days. We inquired again the next day, but were rudely turned away. That's the main reason for the low rating.

A cozy, welcoming camper site with a pleasant, informal atmosphere and fantastic views. The surrounding area is beautiful for cycling and walking. The manager (Shaun) is very friendly. The shower is excellent, the bathroom facilities are a bit dated, but everything works and is clean. We stayed for three nights. Greywater had to be disposed of by pouring it over the fence and into the abyss. It works, but it's not very environmentally friendly. The price/quality ratio is good: €25 + €5 for electricity.

Very spacious, quiet parking lot. We didn't experience any inconvenience (it was raining), and there was no one else there. Restrooms are on the other side of the playground across the street. They do close in the evening. Great location for an overnight stay. Close to the Ulster American Folk Park (recommended).

Five free parking spaces along a quiet road where cars and cyclists pass by every now and then. Nothing else. It is clean and offers a view of a sports field and meadow. Fine for a night.

Four official and spacious places on a quiet parking lot, with a view of greenery. The parking lot is large enough to find a place elsewhere for the night if necessary. Excellent care facilities with electricity. In the hilly area there are many beautiful cycling routes, with a junction system that is very similar to what is common in the Netherlands. Two supermarkets within walking distance.

Indeed a free parking location, but one with lots of green and space. It is not only intended for the indoor pool but also for the recreational lake right next to it. It is large and empty, so almost always space. And also a very quiet place. There was no sign camper place but a sign that you are not allowed to park there after 22:00. So apparently a tolerated place because we could spend the night there undisturbed.

The place is fine, and the price has now been increased to 10 euros. But it is a disaster to pay for it. It is very complicated via a website that can only be found via a search engine. Then you have to fill in all kinds of privacy data as if you were buying a product in a webshop. We have been working on it for an hour and in the end we have not managed to pay. The will is there, but it has to work.

A far too high price for a messy and desolate place. When it is raining it is full of peeing and the access road is about 500 meters downright bad. Suitable for visiting the nearest V2 museum and then returning quickly.

Fine place. WiFi is apparently now 1 Euro for a week and can be purchased at the tourist information desk, so that's a really good price. Great views of the Mosel and beautiful grass. It is a very large lawn and therefore a shame that only support the output bins. Many power poles present and 2kWh costs 1 Euro.
