I agree with previous reviews; quiet, clean, beautifully laid out, and quite luxurious! Because it's small, we enjoy interacting with the owners and other campers. Saved with a heart, and we hope to explore more of the area next time!

We spent five wonderful days as guests. Beautiful surroundings, views, spacious pitches, and plenty of sanitary facilities that are kept exceptionally clean. Two shower/toilets and a separate toilet, a kitchen where you can cook, wash dishes, and even relax. Swimming pool (still very cold, but I'm not letting that get to me)! One small drawback: no toilet/graywater disposal point, and no outdoor cooking (it's in a nature reserve). We definitely want to return!

For €6.05, we stayed there wonderfully and safely. What a beautiful area, unfortunately, only seen from the camper due to the days of downpour. The check-in kiosk works well, and the shower and toilet are excellent. The roof on the ladies' side did leak, and the next morning there was unfortunately no water pressure (to flush the toilet, shower)... I called and explained (in English). Someone was there to look at it fairly quickly. In short, we'd love to come back when the weather is better!

Free! Plenty of space during the winter months, a clean toilet, separate waste containers, and the village with all amenities within walking distance. And for those who need it, there's a sanitation station with power connections! It's such a shame that it's been raining heavily everywhere for a while now (and the rivers are very high here too). For the previous reviewer: just click on the route to this place in the app and you'll get there without any trouble.

It's great that there are campsite owners who invest in the winter months. It's great as a stopover, completely silent at night and very peaceful during the day. The owner is friendly and the price is indeed reasonable. It was a bit messy because of the (absent) regular guests, so after one long night we moved on.

Well, everything above is fine. We like it, but it's become a very Dutch enclave, and we all know each other... people who have been coming here for 27 years see the decline since he's been doing everything by himself for the last two years. The restrooms aren't always clean, and there are very few straight spots. The surrounding area was also disappointing. So, it's nice for a while, but we won't be back anytime soon.

5 stars to compensate for those ridiculous 1-star reviews, but in my opinion, (almost) worthy of 4 stars. Glad we came anyway; a French campsite just like I remember from the past; cluttered but cozy. Former goat farmers, now only two goats left. The grounds are large, and the chickens are very sociable. A great pool and basic sanitary facilities could use some maintenance. Friendly people, very quiet (in high season), and a reasonable price.

A lovely campsite, with many nationalities. The manager is constantly around/cleaning and has tips for every newcomer. There's no permanent reception, and showers and washing machines require tokens purchased from the vending machine. There are a few squat toilets, but thankfully there are also two regular ones. A lovely swimming pool with a lifeguard, and the campsite is friendly and quiet at night. Opposite are permanent pitches, yet still a single entity. Errors reported on campercontact.

As mentioned before, the campsite deserves more attention; it's clearly the final part of a larger complex. One star more for the welcome and the terrace. The previously mentioned drawback of no hot water (for dishwashing) is incorrect; the hot water supply can be out of order; reporting it will help. Modernize the toilets and showers, implement rules for the sports hall (sound box, no after 10:00 PM), and possibly add an above-ground swimming pool on the field, and it would be a 5-star rating.

All the good things described above are true! A fantastic place where we'd love to return when the weather is better. A lovely pool, delicious food, excellent bathroom facilities, and all for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, it started raining quickly and persistently (and that continued for at least four more days), so we didn't explore the area by bike and only sought refuge elsewhere after two nights.

We enjoyed three nights; a fantastic welcome, beautifully spacious, level pitches with a fantastic view. The small scale makes for great interaction (with the owners and other guests). Campers are (usually) quite self-sufficient, but personally, a toilet (and greywater disposal point) would make this CP perfect. But despite that, 5 stars nonetheless!

The owner is incredibly enthusiastic; you immediately feel welcome. We didn't have a reservation, but we still carefully researched where we could stay for 1, 2, or 3 nights. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained, the pool is lovely, and the view is stunning.

Neat campsite, friendly owners, delicious food, beautiful garden/swimming pond, and quiet (no children or dogs). For us, it was too quiet and too pricey for what it offered.

I can only agree with all the previous reviews. It used to be a much larger campsite, but it's now much smaller, well-organized, and more personal. We've been coming to this area for years, and this (mini) campsite and cabins are now among our favorites.

Great business plan, good for campers and caravans, people on the move. €14 (+3.80 tax/tourist tax pp) for the pitch, of which there are fortunately many. For showers and toilet €5 pp electricity according to consumption, in our case only 80 cents…. So for €31.60 we stayed one night. Still three stars because the pitches are spacious and straight, no levellers needed, sanitary facilities are really top and you can safely spend the night there with many people.

2 stars by previous reviewer is nonsense. In wet season possibly less suitable for campers, but friendly and helpful owners and in the area there is a lot to do. Beautiful places, chateaus, lakes, forests, of course the bison farm and wonderful (motor) bike routes. Enjoy the peace and animal sounds!

definitely for the price of what is offered 5 stars! Spacious, clean, friendly and if in season the pool is also open 👍 it is now among my favorites.

After (a full) free camper place ended up here. A bit difficult to find (we saw campers above, but navigation didn't understand it for a moment). Newly constructed with gravel, so it is strange that levelers are needed at all places. Quiet, neat, beautiful location for walking/cycling and easily accessible assistance from the organization if something is unclear. No showers/toilet, you know that, but too small waste bins detract from the whole.

Very friendly owners, many beautiful spacious places, some of which are also (partly) paved. Location (old quarry) imo ideal; you only hear the train now and then, but even that is not disturbing. Not 5 stars because showers give less water when someone flushes the toilet and the sanitary building is too draughty in colder times.

Plus (and minus) points of others are correct but for us: no toilet paper, temperature variation showers and the back-breaking deep sinks a star off. Sogginess due to (a lot of) rain is becoming an issue at many campsites/camper sites, this could be addressed by providing multiple places with (partial) hardening. Friendly, busy pruning and swimming pool, so yes experience in a month could be +1 star.

Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the restaurant was on holiday. Very cold and <10 m visibility so bike routes not done. Small campsite with very good facilities and quite a few paved (camper) places. Booked 4 nights, stayed 3 (and only had to pay). When the weather improves this will definitely get a second chance!

If it disappoints elsewhere (just came from Belgian Limburg, days of <10m visibility, foggy and cold) and you don't want to go home yet, a perfect place to end a week's holiday. but also a weekend or midweek or... More and more people know where to find it here, so reservations are often necessary. but luckily for us, not now😁👍 but already/still pleasantly "busy". soon we'll have a nice meal in the cafe again.

Nice little campsite, open all year round and (by bike) quite a lot to see/do in the area. A spacious and warm sanitary building, unfortunately radio NL is not our thing, and it is always on loud. Just stayed here for the 2nd time and unfortunately I have not been able to speak to the old boss about this yet. They are accessible so that is not the problem. So a tip; put on 100% NL, for example, which also has sentimental songs, but real music is also played.

22 to 24 Nov. Due to the number of closed toilet buildings in the winter, we stayed at the campsite for the camper price (€17). Close to the super-deluxe sanitary building. Customer-friendly. Beautiful surroundings for walking and cycling. A large park, yes, not busy this period, but still a lovely brasserie with friendly staff and an extensive menu! Not in high season, but we will definitely come back before or after!

Camping is above expectations nice, especially in the late season. Spacious places with more or less shade. Sanitary facilities and swimming pools are top. Surroundings invite you to long and beautiful bike rides. Now the gray wave, mainly Belgians and Dutch but also some young people with small children and other nationalities (F, D, S, I) good for 1/4 to 1/3 camping occupancy makes it a really relaxed charming camping for now! With CC €19.60 per night, also 👍

also stayed here in 2017, now a bit more rental accommodations but still beautiful spots for caravan, camper and tent. View all around on mountains, great area for activities. Lovely swimming pool and good restaurant and indeed a very good local supermarket nearby. Ecologically oriented and a piece of garden for the guests with herbs and tomatoes. Only the showers are really too economically adjusted in terms of jet and operation.

Very friendly welcome and they come regularly to chat. Smoke-free suited us very well (despite that I like BBQ). Shady places (which was nice during a heat wave), lovely (heated) swimming pool, just outside the campsite a nice restaurant and a village nearby. nice cycling and walks possible in the area. Family still busy with improving (sanitary facilities looked fresh and modern for the most part) in short, a place to come back.

Super friendly welcome by Rene at this beautiful campsite. Entrance is a bit tight for the caravan/larger motorhome but there is another entrance/exit. Spacious pitches with beautiful views everywhere, but at 1000M so cooler. Fresh bread and other tasty things (Rene is a baker) We were now early in the season and had a lot of space, but at the beginning of next month it will be pleasantly busy. Nice bike ride in the area and we would like to come back.

a beautifully landscaped parking area, no entry or signs about motorhomes. still slept wonderfully and made a nice walk in the area. well-kept environment with nice sights.

nice SVR campsite with a really good shower / toilet / washing facility. just read that July 2020 already had problems with too low mains voltage, so still last weekend. refrigerator kept switching between 230 and gas and ended up running on gas all the time. If this flaw is resolved, they will receive a star😉

not a cheap campsite but rates are just right on the webside. The shower coins are not charged for other guests and us! nice quiet places and nice (cold) swimming pool and nice terrace. sanitary dated but clean. beautiful area for cycling (ebike😁). like to come back here again.

nice campsite with nice spots between trees, but busy road on one side and train on the other. So moderate feeling about this. Campsite almost empty, reception still closed so “reserved” us online, when did the owner arrive? He said bluntly that it didn't work that way and that they only worked with reservations. okay, bye, must be related to covid19 fear, but we'll never come here again! luckily found a nice campsite 20 min back ...

Camping and surroundings invite you to stay longer. Clean sanitary facilities, find your own place and in the evening wonderfully friendly enthusiastic reception. Bakker comes by. Many Dutch people. Places indicate when until when reserved, so as long as that does not overlap you can stand there.

Remains a delicious free CP. The local middle class also happy again. Again with camper with motor trailer, no problem. CP is located around a grove, if on the waterfront than camper (s), you will have to back off again. Part of the fence with posts is for jeu de boules, the other side of the water is a bit youthful. Indeed no more otters, but a lot of fish and waterfowl.

Friendly reception. The camper place disappointed us. Very open and uninviting. On the fields you are nicer and more protective and closer to the sanitary facilities. We found the price high in this era, because nothing is open.

Except for trash no facilities. Been four nights. Nice and quiet but corona time so meaningless. But a solution to be able to legally stay the night 10 minutes away from our daughter!

Good paved camper pitches, also used for caravans. Beautiful view, more than enough power points. Good loos place. Bistro 't maedje on / at the caming, village by bike / walking distance. Beautiful environment. Plumbing and barriers not 100%, administrators emailed about this.

Friendly welcome by the volunteers and that is also the weak spot; sanitary block not / poorly cleaned this weekend. Also not heated. The possibility to shower in the warm large house (limited capacity). Furthermore, the camper pitches are closest to the road. Nice places, but also narrow access through bushes. Various campers also in places in the forest.

Nice CP, free electricity for four places, free water, a discharge point and even a dixie. Fascinating ... most important is that it is a beautiful place, view and next to the woods and then still within walking distance of the village for restaurants and groceries. Top!

No specific camper facilities, hence an 8. Nice on the Elbe (still narrow here) and shop within walking distance and supermarket within cycling distance (Vrchlabi)

Stood one night, last official place. Busy, lots of noise and that on a Thursday evening. Apparently a number of long "campers", not our thing. Possibly nice things in the area but we were in transit.

Wonderfully quiet campsite far from main road. Shop on site, supermarket not far away, various stone circles (Stonehenge is very touristy and busy) within an hour. Sanitary is thoroughly cleaned daily. Many migrants (we were here for 4 days).

Let's just look, the nice lady really wanted to put us in a place. However, the road can be heard very well in the places that were suitable for our camper, so we drove to the next campsite. Because we cannot judge the rest, it is a 7 min.

Reasonable campsite, shower free but very little water and fixed shower head at the height of my shoulder blades. Campsite part and still large lawn with fenced-off caravan parking part, not very inviting. Being able to take a quiet and fun walk due to our "daily needs"; across potato, grain, barley, tubers and corn fields.

Good camping, just sanitary, good WIFI, supermarket and a place with satisfying eateries is easy to walk on. Beautiful (motor) roads in the area. The road can only be heard in the morning and evening.

Very large, well-organized campsite. Large places, nice and quiet at the beginning of July, but quite full at the weekend. We paid 19 pounds a day, including electricity, indoor swimming pool with steam bath, sauna and jacuzzi. Many places with their own water and drainage are 24 pounds. Dirt warmer discharge into well at warmer tap point.

Neat, friendly, great environment, super WiFi, excellent sanitary facilities and heated. Narrow road to get there, exciting but even to do well with a camper with trailer. Wonderful walks from the campsite and beautiful (motorcycle) tours in the area.

Lovely to unwind! What a space and what a friendly atmosphere and friendly hostess, top! Have stood for several days, also during busier weekends. Even then plumbing still satisfies, most English apparently do everything in their caravan / camper.

Fine camping, 3 days only 2 guests, but still feel welcome. Fine plumbing. Lifts will open next weekend so it will be busier. Many permanent places, great restaurant within walking distance, free bus to Winterberg.

Fine CP in the middle of the village, nice walking and cycling routes in beautiful surroundings. Just € 12.50 per 24 hours all in and great Wi-Fi. Only point of attention is the toilet and the shower in one. If all 12 spots are occupied, it may be uncomfortable. But we will definitely come back here!

Nice playful set up campground. Places of different large, single or a lot of shade, design gives a lot of privacy. Nice pool, lots of Dutch people and children ... despite great distances, you can see and hear the highway.

Lovely quiet campsite, friendly, good English speaking owner. Sanitary is kept clean. Lovely (shallow) pool. By classification very many private places on the campsite, some difficult to reach by vegetation but access to the campsite itself is good. Village within walking distance with restaurants, dilapidated ATM and bakery, butcher and greengrocer. Here you will stay for more nights!

Neat camper place with spacious paved places and many power points. € 7 for a day, but also week and even year tickets for sale. You see that: many local motorhomes (and also a caravan) with cars there ... stood on a Friday, but in the distance there was some party noise but not a problem. Just good and nice environment.

wonderfully quiet, spacious pitches and all amenities. Price is not correct (passed), we without electricity even for € 3 less. Becoming a member of SVR can also be done here (at least € 10, - / year), so that you will have it after 2 nights (otherwise € 5, - / night extra). Lovely cycling, about 4 km from the first junction but ala. Really a haven, partly due to narrow dead end road the last part.

Nice campsite with unfortunately a busy, noisy road / bridge along. Clean sanitary facilities, lovely shower. River and swimming pool where you can cool down well. In before / after season beautiful places. A 10 by French is too many, hence a 7 but another 8

Lovely quiet, spacious places, 10 min walk to Nant, bike 3 minutes. WCs with toilet paper, good showers, nice swimming pool sufficiently large in June, but now no bread service or snacks. Cheap € 11.50 camper 2 pers + stream (acsi) very much to experience in the area (car, motor). 5 hours free good WiFi (certainly for French terms) about almost entire campsite.

On the road and at the park, sani station and many trash cans. Place a little slant (3 one way up, 1 the other) We arrived very late and were the only ones. Camper put right by parking these less socially. Saturday evening, some passing young and in the morning, a little bit of cars over the road. Slept well and long

Indeed, calm, tidy, friendly and helpful. Places marked on site with artificial turf. Lovely showers with warm floor, all very nice and clean. Nice cycling routes through and around Breda. Current per kw, actually makes sense now.

Well ... camping, CP, hostel, but a temporary residence for many foreign workers. I got the feeling that I was😐 in Hungary. International, many youth. The aircraft are clearly present. Shower buy coins and indeed identity document issuance and do not want to give back before you're actually on the premises. We will not come back.

CP Prima, stood overnight. Slept wonderfully. All present; toilets showers, washing room in a very nice building. The most spacious places for caravans, the panoramic view and relative tranquility make it a 9. WiFi did it already. Here we definitely will come back!

Great place! Difficult to determine how campers to put down, (blocking others) but there may be more than four. In line with water a beautiful park with two young swans, ducks and many OTTERS! Also village is nice to walk through and offer more than expected.

Well, 06-09-2016 looking creature. Selected on the pictures and description. We were not excited about it (camper trailer with motor). Small place, very much occupied with (uninhabited) caravans. Pool smaller than it looks on the pictures and the terraces surely difficult. The campsite a lot back (Guardiola de Bergueda) is in our opinion the better choice for this really great area.

All the positives I can confirm this; great welcome, perfect computer / system moves, grass pitches with sufficient capacity and for an All in camping price I find it really not too expensive (and thus 55+ discount). Furthermore, just today was the restaurant open again: super eating and for a very fair price. Topper!

Neat, large and safe places. By furnishing / design indeed not prone to juvenile nuisance 🎉 unfortunately the pool installation makes it sound that can be considered a nuisance. But kudos to this congregation that six campers as offering a fine, free overnight!

Beautiful fall colors, fine places, nice camp site (now closed). Limited facilities is still warm dishwater and the toilets. So we're going to take a shower in the camper. So a great place for 8 euros!

Nice big place, grass what soggy so we have really been on the embankment (18.45 hours still the only ones)

Nice and quiet. Even on Saturday night. A short scooter youth, in the night frogs, pigeons, haan. Loos point elsewhere. Beautiful!

My first reaction was about: We were pleasantly surprised to have seen many full camper pitches after en route; so a fun place and that only for us! Enthusiastic reception by the hostess and delicious places approximately in the middle of the free range chickens, cows and on edge of forest. Note: still a peace lover just before dark so not come down only. Fresh eggs and the camper place you can pay via money box in the cottage, about trust. Tasty hiked! Great place what a rest No frog heard here we want to definitely come back just under 10 for the sanistation was broken and without tension and thereby also the lampposts but nice dark. Some people may have trouble with the access road partly unpaved and very steep and the remote location. We have absolutely not felt unsafe. Are but 4 camper pitches.

Cozy with about 15 campers a night. Nice bit hiked. Sanistation course you like in a big bow around it. Stench from nearby toilets and trash cans. By the rain was only recognised on the hardened piece, but with some closer together was there yet again made room for the later arriving campers. Traffic noise In the morning from nearby main road. Certified also popularity camper place I think.

Cosy friendly campsite with good facilities. We have chosen to just at the camp site to stand for 2 nights indeed cozier than the camper pitches although there also nothing wrong with it. Neat and filling just plumbing and chemical toilet disposal other can building. Shower coins along with the very large shower room and long hot water to do together to promote this. Beautiful surroundings.

The owner was concerned about the rijksstraatweg, but there you have on the camper place fortunately not affected. Hands and time too short there; the new camping area is very beautiful and connect to a meandering stream. The camper place is good enough for easy people. (it's still make do with clean, dirty water and chemical toilets). Much nice elaborated (indoor) ideas. Peace and quiet.
