As in previous reviews, a farmer was fertilizing the land near the camper site. We didn't let this deter us, and after a few hours, the smell was gone. There are beautiful walks nearby, such as the Waldsee lake or the Scheidegger waterfalls.

We stood next to a chicken coop with a rooster and a somber doghouse from which a plaintive barking often sounded, even at night. Several ski lifts are nearby, but they are now closed. A beautiful area for hiking.

We were the only ones here on Wednesday 9 April. There is no market here now, and it doesn't seem like a place for one. However, there are earthmoving machines working 200 metres from the camper site. The noise is clearly audible outside, but it's not too bad in the camper. Still, it's a nice place.

I also saw someone flushing his toilet with the (only) water tap. I do not recommend taking water here. 500 meters from the camper place is a Via Verde.

This is not an official camper place but, like the other 'camper place' in this village, a parking lot. There is a wrapped up payment machine, so there is a big chance that you will have to pay to park here soon.

We completely agree with all the positive reactions. And 15 euros including electricity makes it extra attractive. The only downside we think is that you have to pay in cash, so make sure you have the exact change. Perhaps the option of entering a QR code? Instead of two nights we stayed there for five nights. Even in high season there was still plenty of room. The fortified town of Buren and Bloemenpark Appeltern are within cycling distance.

We haven't had such an ugly camper place in Spain for a long time. It's fine for an overnight stay

We were the only camper in this quiet place for two days. A beautiful view of the mountains with still a little snow. On the other side of the river is a Via Verde. It is a 20-minute walk to the beautiful village along a quiet road and is easily doable. It is a tolerable place, not an official camper place.

From the camper place you can take beautiful walks to Sad Hill, a fictional cemetery that served as a film set for the final scenes of the film The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and the La Yecla gorge. A wonderfully quiet camper place.

The advantage of this camper place is that a Via Verde is just across the road. Recordings for Doctor Zhivago were also made there. So cross and go. The road is quite busy, mainly with trucks, so it is not a quiet camper place.

A messy camper place in a quiet mountainous area. Power has quite variable voltage, which caused our refrigerator to give an error message. That's why we put it on gas. For walking routes it is best to use an app such as Wikiloc or Komoot. We could stay here for two days. After that the camper place was fully booked.

We stayed here for two nights in September. We didn't notice anything from a busy road. Every now and then a car passed by. It is 16 kilometers to the Altstadt of Rostock by bike (or camper) and very easy to do. The first half is on a quiet road, then on cycle paths.

On Friday morning the parking lot filled up, possibly due to the modest market that created a pleasant liveliness in the small center. The town makes a prosperous impression.

A beautiful cycling and walking path runs across the canal. We cycled 26 kilometers, but you can make it as short or long as you want. It's flat, so it's doable for everyone.

It is much nicer to walk to Santiago than by bus. From the motorhome you walk left to the restaurant, instead of crossing in front of the bus stop you turn left, then right and you are on the pilgrimage route. Here the pilgrims walk the last five kilometers to the cathedral and you also feel a bit like a pilgrim. The route is well marked with pilgrim shell signs.

Small campsite with everything you need. Neatly clean and new sanitary buildings. Special area for barbecuing. Walks can be downloaded at reception. We did a shortened version of the PR7 with 14 kilometers. Spicy, but worth it.

Ideal motorhome for a walk over the imposing 516Arouca bridge. Follow the 'bar' sign and you will come to the path that leads to the stairs with 500 steps. Don't be put off, we were at the office with the guides after 50 minutes from the camper place. First buy tickets online with time slot and entrance Areinho. You do not need a ticket to walk along the bridge. In April there was plenty of space at this motorhome.

It felt like we had fallen into a trap. After 3.5 hours we wanted to leave and pay the minute rate. Oh no, you couldn't. We had to pay 22 euros for 24 hours. There you are behind a barrier. To put an end to the discussion, we also spent the night here, but it didn't feel right.

We have been here for two days during the Midwinterhoorn hike. For 7.10 euros per 24 hours we have no complaints. If only there were more of these types of camper pitches, close to a town and surrounded by beautiful surroundings. Checking in by means of a barcode works quickly and well.

Now that it is a Europarcs campsite, the prices have increased considerably. For three nights we paid 105 euros. How this rate was calculated was a mystery to us. Only the city tax was clear. There are beautiful camper pitches along the water. They are two euros more per night. Cottages and tents are still being placed for rental, which makes it increasingly crowded, especially in the high season.

It's a shame to only use this place as a stopover. During the day there were a few campers during our stay. On the busiest evening we counted 30. We made beautiful walks to the Salzachklamm and the Gollinger waterfalls. The Tauernradroute and another cycling route are nearby. In short, there is plenty to do here. I would have liked to stay a little longer but unfortunately the weather got worse.

Due to a closure and a height restriction of 2.80 meters it was impossible for us to reach the motorhome, despite several attempts to find another route.

This car park is popular in high season as a starting point for hikers and mountain bikers. At the disposal site for the chemical toilet, the hose for the toilet and clean water hangs next to each other. The hose for clean water can be disconnected, so that the water comes directly from the tap. We recommend the mountain hike along the Leitenkammerklamm to the view of the glacier or further to the Zittauerhutte. In total approx. 6 or 7 hours.

Even at Pentecost there is still plenty of room on this beautiful campsite. Few electrical poles, which is why a long cable is sometimes necessary. In our case 32 meters. Walking and cycling opportunities. The town's main attraction is the imposing aqueduct. Moderate quality wifi and mobile internet.

It doesn't say anywhere that you can stay overnight at the supermarket

When we arrived here at 4.30 pm there were cars with windows open and so there was chatter. Later more cars came and music was played. At 6 pm everyone left but for how long? We didn't take any chances and left.

This is a popular place to stay. In the evening the motorhome was full, the next morning everyone had left. In high season it will be a problem to find a spot.

Beautiful motorhome in a beautiful village. The hum on the motorhome is rarely heard. At the end of March everything is extinct. The area is ideal for a nice walk.

Apparently popular with Spaniards on weekends. Friday afternoon we were here with another camper. In the evening the motorhome was completely full and would remain so for the weekend. And that at the end of March.

Camperplace is 4.5 km from Apremont. Open all year. Winter rate 1-12/1-4 is €6, electricity €4 and water €2. Not suitable for large motorhomes due to kink in driveway. Our 7 meter camper scraped the bottom. Poor mobile internet coverage. Quiet motorhome.

Why the negative reactions? 4 places are reserved for motorhomes in a public car park. There is a gray water discharge point, water and electricity for 2 campers, trash can, waste container and a glass container and all for free! And it also looks neatly groomed. As motor home owners, we should be happy with these kinds of places!

A lovely place to escape the hustle and bustle of the coast. I can't speak of a sheltered place. The strong south-westerly wind that we have been dealing with for a week and a half blows just as hard here. And then it comes from the sheltered side.

Indeed a wonderfully quiet place in a beautifully maintained cemetery and church. It's just not a motorhome but just a parking lot. I therefore do not think that it is officially allowed to spend the night here. We took the gamble and stayed overnight because we didn't feel like looking any further. We were the only camper and were not sent away.

We did not find this a beautiful motorhome. We looked at a concrete wall with a sand and gravel pile. That's why we drove on.

We stayed here for three nights in mid-August, two of which were all alone. A lovely spacious place at a country house where rooms are rented out. There is some traffic noise but not disturbing. This is a great place. Everything is new and neatly maintained, spacious places and unobstructed views all around. Electricity 10 amps. Everything was against us here. We arrived after dark. Everything was closed. No wifi and mobile internet. Woke up three times at night by a crowing rooster. The next morning we spoke to a friendly owner. He was surprised to the roosters. He only had chickens. When we drove off we saw them clearly in the chicken run. If you like roosters, it is of course no problem.

The charm of this place is its simplicity. What you need as a camper is there and that for the mere amount of 3 euros. Including electricity and water it is 5 euros. And also good wifi. You get the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner for free.
