Quiet place on the banks of the Neckar. It is a public car park with service point for campers: water, toilet discharge, electricity. Shaded on two sides. Close to the public park and 500 m from the town center, on the other bank which is reached by a suggestive route.

The column for electricity, drinking water and toilet drains is located in car park P2. To top up your drinking water you need to have a token but I haven't seen a distributor where you can buy these tokens. So I could not refill drinking water. The toilet is free and convenient to unload. The area is spacious and access is easy (July 2019)

The place is very suggestive, a small peninsula that juts out into the Staffelsee with stubble trees on the perimeter. We were lucky to find a pitch right on the shore. Services and showers clean and working even if not very modern. Restaurant with typical German cuisine, for us not the best. Friendly staff. Sense of freedom. Murnau can be reached on foot, nice trail.

They are two pitches located behind a fuel distributor, equipped with 220V electricity, drinking water and chemical toilet discharge. Too bad that drinking water was not available. The toilet drain was without a handle and I had to lift it with a screwdriver. The mouthpiece has to be improved. Very noisy pitches. I have not visited the restaurant and the lake.
