September 2019. The only camping here. Try to make a reservation. Everything is expensive here, but you must have been here and it is worth it. Uluru and Kata Tjuta are much more beautiful in real life than in the pictures.

September 2019. Excellent campsite with good facilities. Nothing noticed of entertainment. Ahead is the Battery Hill Mining Center with a tour of the old gold mine worthwhile.

We were here in September 2019. Great campsite. An absolute must is the Yellow Waters River Cruise. Take the first tour early in the morning. An unforgettable experience. The morning tour ends with the restaurant's breakfast buffet.

We were here in September 2019. The access road is unpaved, but doable. Watch out for the Walibies. The campsite has all amenities and a good restaurant. You can take a walk along the beach as long as you want. Everything is good, but it is also a campsite with many regular winter guests.

This is a real outback campground. Close to the Visitors Center, built with Corten steel, so in the color of the landscape. Very spacious places.

There are 2 places. We also chose those on the lake, beyond the boat rental. No facilities, but picnic tables and fire places. Beautiful quiet place.

Great location, adequate facilities and helpful owner.

Ideal place for an overnight stay, en route to Hamburg.

We were here before with the Romania group trip. Excellent campsite with good facilities from a good English speaking family. The Hanomag (for the 4x4 mountain trips) was unlucky but was expertly repaired. We were now passing through, but for those who have more time, such a trip is a must.

September 2 arrived and 2 nights stood. Prima camper place with electricity (if you need it). It is a matter of searching and asking for the facilities. Especially the showers in the containers behind the stationary Carpatia Expres are separate, but well usable. New facilities are being built, so it is likely that it will be upgraded in 2019. The ride with the wood-fired steam train is a must.

We arrived here in August on a narrow road in the dark because a music festival took place on the previously planned campsite. Fortunately, the coordinates are perfect and the campsite is primitive but fine. In daylight it is a beautiful location in nature.

On August 31, we arrived here at dusk. The meadows were full of cars and on the campsite full of dome tents. Many Boem-Boem sounds. A music festival! We were kindly requested by traffic controllers to continue driving. Something to keep in mind if you want to go here at the end of August.

We were here on September 5th. The gate is normally closed, but if you call Rudi or Ella open and the reception is very friendly. Around the corner is a larger fence to allow larger campers in the backyard. Well maintained quiet backyard campsite with good clean facilities.

We were here mid July 2017. Look at the last meters you can still drive a bit wrong. If you are booking on the internet, you should also go to the ice cage reception to get the gateway access code. Belfast is easy to reach by bus. During the weekend, a 10-minute walk to the bus stop at the hospital. Good but limited basic facilities.

We were here July 13, 2017. Cozy campsite. Close to Dublin so fast full. Nice beach to stretch the legs.

A nice guesthouse with friendly service and good wifi, but the campsite is rather neglected. Positive: If you do not need an electrical connection, you can stand on the hill with stunning views over the sea and on the Scottish coast (if the view is clear). An alternative to the parking lot at the Rope Bridge.
Sitecode: 57559
We arrived on the 6th of July at noon to visit the Rope Bridge and did not know that you were staying overnight. Well, a great location. This lowered parking lot has been a movie location for Game of Thrones. The location is very sheltered with beautiful views.

According to the Tourist Office on site you buy 2 cheap parking tickets before 18:00, you use 2 lengths for your length. The remaining time is good for the following morning. Cozy pubs with pub food and live music in the city center. Recommended. Walk to the ruin with a cemetery at the end of the parking lot.

June 18, 2017 we were here. Highly recommended. The owner is very helpful and takes plenty of time to advise on what to experience in the area. The campsite is located at the back of the campsite, but has very spacious paved areas with power, water and drainage.
Sitecode: 57219
Beautiful location. We had here again on the 16th of June. Recommended.
Sitecode: 51797

We were here mid-October 2016. Good amenities but no power. The hike to Hooker Lake, about three suspension bridges, is beautiful with reward a sweeping view of Aoraki-Mount Cook and the lake where chunks of floating ice of the glacier.

We were here in early October 2016. Prima camping, which is true for most Top 10 Holiday Parks. At night, the power went across the region by heavy snowfall, but the site manager and his staff were very helpful to help everyone they could.

We were here in September 2016, in New Zealand early spring. No mosquitoes. Beautiful location but few amenities (no flow). Its location at the Maitai Bay is fairylike. Along the way, at the Karikari Fire Station (fire station) [Moderator: Site Code 53877] is a camper service.
