totally agree with ridge. great campsite for a reasonable price.

coordinates are indeed incorrect - please adjust! very friendly welcome, and we could park for free if we came to eat.

the farm is apparently a well-known horse breeding farm but a bit run down, and so are the facilities. super nice people and a reasonable overnight price. this is really camping on the farm - for me a recommendation

a really beautiful area. we were here early september and it was very quiet, but how full it is in the summer season i don't know.

a small intimate campsite. super nice people, facilities tip top. and within walking distance, just down the road, a nice pub with good food

the supermarket, the playground and the laundry service are non-existent. a fairly remote location, only accessible via very narrow roads. therefore wonderfully quiet (4 September) and a very beautiful location near the sea. there are toilets, spacious showers, a room with a few sinks and a washing-up area. very friendly owner. the name of the campsite is by the way outdoor alternative

friendly welcome. the camper pitches seem big enough to me, but we didn't need electricity and were on the meadow next to it. sanitary facilities quite outdated but well functioning. we arrived on 1 sept and paid 20 pounds.

a fantastic location around the ruins of an old abbey. very friendly people. there are all kinds of facilities, including a launderette and a pub where you can enjoy a good pint and a simple meal. the sanitary facilities are quite outdated but sufficient. what is really a shame is that there is small litter everywhere on the site, that really detracts from the experience for us.

beautifully situated on the edge of the forrest of dean. you enter through a romantic entrance, indeed not suitable for larger campers. we were welcomed by the very friendly manager. the camping site is a slightly sloping meadow with spacious camping spots. 22 pounds per night is not very cheap but on the other hand everything else is included. really recommended.

flat gravel parking lot where you can easily park a camper. whether a really big camper can come 'around the back' is the question. in exchange for a free night you are expected to eat a meal, which is definitely not a punishment. also nice beer on tap, and a cider that even I liked.

it's just what you expect from it. if you want idyllic camping with a view of the fjords, you've come to the wrong place. But we used this as a base to Bergen and that's fine. there is a bus just outside the site and a 15 minute walk from the metro to the center. as mentioned, you camp on asphalt, if desired with electricity. kitchen, dining area, washing machines and dryers and good toilets and showers.

pleasant place in the orchard. amenities are okay. downside for us was the pungent smell of manure from the adjacent farm.

very nice place and very friendly owner. the toilet building with ladies and men's toilet and shower is very well maintained. all in all a perfect place. the only downside is that the area is not very interesting for cycling.

very friendly people. good facilities and a nice and quiet place
