Great find! Easy access on way to and from Cornwall, parking ideal for large motorhomes and great farm shop with bakery, cafe, restaurant and toilets. This farm shop offers this overnight free of charge - a rare find - hence the 5* review. Ideally go in to buy something and they’re open early for breakfasts too.

Another lovely stay after we first visited when it opened 2 years ago. Prices increased (see photo) and grounds need a little attention. We hope this lovely aire will be maintained and would definitely recommend it.
Sitecode: 15598
This is actually free daytime parking only, ideal for motorhomes, and very handy for visiting the pretty village and port. If you want to stay overnight, the Camping Carpark aire is very close by.

A really lovely, immaculate family run site. Pitches are so well kept and in June we were able to choose our own and pitched with a great river view on a large grass pitch with trees (offering sun and shade). Would definitely recommend this site and also the river walk up to Domme (staff kindly print a map if asked). All staff were friendly and helpful. A beautifully maintained site. They have appropriately been awarded best pitches 2023 by ACSI.

Perfect location for visiting Rocamadour. We were heading to the Chateau parking for campers and saw lots of campers in this 2* site. It’s so well located next to restaurants and one of the best views (next to Hotel Belvedere). We recommend the 10 minute (fairly steep but good path) down to the village, or take the flat walk to the right, along the promenade road, where you can either take the lift or the tree lined path into the village.

Current price is €8 for 12 hours or €16 for 24 hours. We found a lovely private parking place allowing campers 24 hours for €6 on an adjacent road, with trees, picnic spot, bins and views of Rocamadour! It’s on Promenade de la Corniche on the D200 (signposted to P2 Le Chateau) and would take around 20 campers. We’ve sent info into CamperContact so it should be added soon. There are no signs from the roundabout but drive along here first 👍

Immaculate 5 pitch site with great views. Friendly and helpful owner who takes pride in the site, maintaining it to a great standard. Pitches separated well, with grass and gravel; and individual picnic benches. Enjoyable walk (30 min) to St Michael’s Mount and Marazion. A bit pricey but quite unique and beautiful views.

Stayed June 22. No facilities but beautiful and unique village right on Canal du Midi. Lots of cafes/restaurants open in summer so wonderful spot to stay and enjoy lunch watching the boats pass by.
Sitecode: 102074
Excellent newly opened aire (replaces previous aire 600m along the road which was free with no facilities/views; just follow the one way road to this new aire). It’s more like a basic campsite with paved pitches, grass, picnic benches, electric, water, barrier and some sea views). Across a quiet road to a lovely sandy beach. Good for cycling and small port with restaurants/bakers nearby. Can recommend boat trips around the Morbihan from the port.
Sitecode: 61725
Beauty spot with lake and superb views. Sadly we visited at the beginning of a storm so only stayed briefly, but will visit again in good weather. Road fine for our 7m camper.

Lovely site in beautiful location in the Brecon Beacons. Friendly, helpful owners. Situated on the river and in the small town of Crickhowell (more like a village) with independent shops, cafes and pubs. Excellent bakery too! Ideal place to set up and relax, go walking and cycling. Would recommend a visit. Lovely setting and views.

Lovely location on the River Usk with beautiful views. Welcoming and helpful owners. Reasonably priced. Please support them as 2020 has been a difficult year for them since the floods and pandemic.

Fantastic stop for day or overnight. Just call the pub on arrival and they will tell you where to park. We stayed in the overflow during the day, then they asked us to move to the car park next to the pub overnight. £3 for all day/night which is redeemed in the pub. Lovely spot next to the river, abbey and village with a number of shops and eateries. Highly recommend. We will return. A rare find.

As previous reviews have said, this is a really pretty spot and campers are welcome, both day and overnight. It was quiet when we stayed this week (during a storm!) with 3 vans but we could imagine this gets busy in good weather. There is a second parking area just a little further down the road with toilets. Definitely recommend a visit and stay. Easy walk or cycle to town for breakfast.

Easy access and good parking at the bottom of the car park. Powys welcome Motorhomes to stay overnight (1 night in 7) in their long stay car parks which is great for visiting pretty places like Hay. First 2 hours of daytime parking now free. We enjoyed a daytime visit but spoke to 1 of 4 campers who had slept there with no problems. Well worth a visit and overnight stay.

Immaculate, traditional small site with no club house etc. Spotless shower block and beautifully manicured grounds with large pitches. On bus route, 2 min walk to farm shop and cafe, and on the edge of Dartmoor National Park for good walking, but steep in places on quiet lanes. Maybe slightly more suited to caravans than motorhomes purely to have a car to explore the area. A little gem!

Our low rating is because of the low standard of the touring pitches & facilities. Nothing like the professional website! Saying that, it is in great location with excellent views. Great walking on the coastal path across the road. The pool is derelict and everything seems unloved. Would return for the location only but don’t expect to find the site anything like it advertises!
Sitecode: 82264
Really lovely small site in great location for the steam train to Minehead. We stayed as C&CC members and were made very welcome. Owners plan to put in electric at some stage. Short level walk to small village with few facilities and a couple of pubs. Very close to local brewery (next to steam train station) worth visiting.
Sitecode: 25940
We love this 5* site which is great for families and couples. In a quiet, beautiful location right on a lovely natural coastline with good beaches and walking. Site well kept with plenty of facilities. Choose between paddling/swimming in the sea or just walking 100m to the lovely pool complex! Will definitely return here again, as we have over the years. Drive the coastal road (brown signs).

Delighted this new CCP aire has opened in one of our favourite spots in Brittany.. We’ve stayed before in the 5* site 100m away, where visitors are welcome to buy bread etc or eat in the restaurant (services for camper here). Aire right at lovely coastline & beaches with walks around this unspoilt area. No facilities so come prepared. Need CCP card for entry. Can get one from other aire in town.
Sitecode: 24405
Pretty location with a good view of the Loire. We were expecting it to be busy arriving on a July Saturday afternoon, but only one other camper there! Dusty surface and lack of “aire atmosphere” made us move on, but definitely worth a stop to make your mind up. Some road noise but nice looking restaurant at location, boat trips and canoe hire.
Sitecode: 22997
Stopped in free grass area (general car parking) in front of this aire for a lunch stop. This aire looked lovely though and is now €10 for 24 hours including services. Adjacent to basic campsite, Loire and canoe hire. Some traffic noise but a pretty spot on grass.
Sitecode: 1470
Only here for lunch stop and lovely walk along to see the chateau. No view from this new aire; shame it’s been moved from the prettier location the other side of the campsite. Still no barrier and charge yet. Would recommend a visit and walk along to see the pretty area and chateau. Seems like a lot of work and landscaping in progress too along here. Lower star rating as view disappointing now.
Sitecode: 1673
Don’t know what some expect from an aire! This is an old municipal site located right on a beautiful lake with lovely flat paths around it. Electric, water, chemical all here. Loads of space to set up with awning with a wonderful view. Only a short drive from Saumur so ideal in good weather after a castle visit. Sign says €5, but yet to be collected. Highly recommend in season.
Sitecode: 14413
Return visit to this lovely free aire. Arrived after a day visiting the chateau so relaxing end to the day. Others seemed to do the same - 10 vans in total with loads of space to spread out. View of the Loire and in small village. Great stopover.
Sitecode: 5399
We love La Tranche. A seaside town with a beautiful coastline, beaches & cycle paths. Nice cafes/bars on front to enjoy morning coffee or meal with lovely view. This aire used to be more popular but since the barrier was installed a lot seem to be boycotting it as the cost excludes any facilities. Let’s hope La Tranche invest a little money into the aire, as they are the rest of the town.
Sitecode: 27418
Great spot to visit the batteries and with a sea view towards Arromanches and the floating harbour. We stopped for a lunch visit and moved on, but it appeared fine to stay overnight as many vans looked settled.
Sitecode: 1284
Return visit to this basic aire. Great location for walking, cycling & beach. Arrived at 930am & a couple of vans were leaving (July). Highly recommend going to nearly port (at centre ville) for a boat trip around the Morbihan with optional visit to some of the islands. We did a full day at €26 with lunch stop at Ile aux Moines. Superb! A relaxed, laid back free aire. Highly recommend for location
Sitecode: 1151
This aire is all about location. In a perfect spot to enjoy beautiful Honfleur. Extra electric points now installed but it would be good to see the local municipal spend a bit of money landscaping the aire, but a visit here is highly recommended. Lidl only 50m walk away. This old town is beautiful, full of character and numerous eateries around a lovely old basin/marina. Very popular spot.
Sitecode: 10526
Beautiful, village with large grass aire only 400m from village centre, ramparts and lake. Free to visit through the day; €5 overnight. Only a short drive inland from the Vendee beaches. Recommend a visit here.
Sitecode: 1679
Absolutely beautiful, relaxing location with full facilities and lots of space to set up as you wish. Very welcoming (owners do not speak English) with gorgeous old mill house with small bar, ices etc. This aire really is highly recommended and a rare find, especially in the Vendee. Only 12km to Puy du Fou and easy drive to coastal resorts. Located on Sèvre river with countryside all around.
Sitecode: 51391
Excellent well kept aire right in the centre of a small touristy seaside town with lovely sand dunes and beach. Full facilities, shade from pine trees & good sized marked pitches. Part of the Camping Car Card where you can buy a lifelong card from the machine for €4, then add credit anytime. Would recommend this aire as can set up well with awning and plenty to explore nearly.
Sitecode: 62137
This aire is perfectly located across the road from a long stretch of lovely sandy beach, pier and 100m to touristy town centre (great ice creams, churros etc). Great cycle path alongside. Feel the aire deserves better rating due to location & full service facilities. Nice terrace to sit for coffee etc at water sports centre nearby; also shop under flats sells bread/groceries.
Sitecode: 23854
Basic aire with space to sit out (no facilities), but in a beautiful location 100m from sandy beach, restaurant and bay popular with kite surfers. Pretty flat coastal walks around Pointe de Penvins. Love this natural coastline, just pity the aire was moved from the front with sea view, but we will still return. Only 5.50 euros, collected after 6pm for overnight stay.
Sitecode: 2153
Great location just a few minutes walk from the beautiful old port with restaurants and boats (for hire). Full of character and reasonably priced eateries. Steep 10 min walk to lovely old town with cobbled streets and ramparts. Do not walk up the road - take the steps on the left just under the viaduct, or walk from the port up the old cobbled street. Stunning! Aire is basic but perfectly located
Sitecode: 1420
Lovely location to relax next to the vines, chickens and geese. Great facilities and enjoyable wine tasting. Owners speak limited English.
Sitecode: 1263
Great location across the road from the rugged coastline and a leisurely half hour walk to the main sandy beach, port and town at Quiberon. Agree with previous review that hedges need cutting! Would recommend for the location and microclimate the area enjoys.
Sitecode: 24748
Beautiful, tranquil spot with lovely coastal views, also across to the islands. Nice village and walks.
Sitecode: 12054
Lovely spot and handy location for a short stroll to the marina and town as other reviews state. Would recommend.
Sitecode: 2467
A popular aire in summer but still with space to set up with awning etc. Right next to sandy beach and easy cycle path to local tourist town with daily market.
Sitecode: 23668
Basic aire with a great view and across the road from a sandy beach. Ideal stop before or after Roscoff ferry crossing.
Sitecode: 2470
Highly disappointed to reach this aire with great reviews and find that it had been taken over as a car park with no space left for campers! There was an event in the village so beware if you are visiting in high season as cars are allowed to park in the aire! A pretty, medieval village but sadly nowhere for us to stay so we moved on to Homps on Canal du Midi instead.
Sitecode: 2161
Great location and easy to walk or cycle to marina with restaurants, lovely old town with a good range of shops, and lovely sandy beach. Gruissan is a pretty old town to visit right on the Med which has maintained its charm and character. Would definitely recommend.
Sitecode: 5399
Great location 100m from SuperU, seaside town with plenty of souvenir shops & restaurants and really lovely sandy beaches. Great cycle path both ways along the beach with pine trees for shade. Traffic noise at aire but very handy location.
Sitecode: 2376
A return visit. Lovely to find an aire directly overlooking the Med. This is not a large tourist town, but an old, working fishing village with a natural coastline - rocky in parts & also 2 sandy beaches with just a handful of shops/restaurants. A cycle ride toward the botanical gardens brings further coves/small lagoon. Local bakers excellent; delicious exclusive cake ("fanny") should be tried!
Sitecode: 25806
Friendly owners. Free aire with useful family shop selling their wine and local gift ideas. Wine good and very reasonable at €4 upwards. Large grass area but, as next to a lake, beware of mosquitoes! Ideal stop for night on way to Carmague beaches.
Sitecode: 24734
Lovely site with space to relax if you want to get away from the busy beach resorts nearby. Aire in different sections and the first area is by far the nicest with attractive outlook. Friendly owners. Cycle into local village is not that easy in hot weather for leisurely cyclists! Very relaxing and quiet aire.
Sitecode: 19862
Lovely peaceful spot on a small marina and cycle path in Nantes-Brest canal. Lovely walk to pleasant village. Would definitely return here. There are 2 areas and we preferred the first area backing onto grass and the water for sitting out. The second area is better for large vehicles as it's a large hardstanding.
Sitecode: 1284
Visited August 2016 and arrived mid-morning when 2 spaces just became available. Gave star rating due to excellent location right next to beach and cycle path into local facilities. Excellent overnight stop.
Sitecode: 23607
Beautiful, tranquil spot right at a lovely port. Plenty of grass/picnic areas and restaurant/bar. Would definitely recommend.
Sitecode: 14339
Lovely aire on grass right amongst the vines and next to the chateau where the very welcoming owners live. Free water, excellent wifi and electric. We were invited in for wine tasting (without feeling obliged) with other campers (French & Italian). Good prices and tasted v good. A very authentic experience in a lovely setting. Would certainly recommend.
Sitecode: 1606
Great relaxing spot. Hard standing or grass pitches. If full at first area alongside the marina, drive further along to lovely grass pitches with some trees. Machines now installed to pay €8 per night to include electric & wifi. Bakers van comes early & local bar/restaurants at marina.
Sitecode: 21973
We couldn't agree more with the previous review. Such a lovely, English speaking, semi-retired wine producer. Very welcoming and helpful without any pressure to buy. The wine is lovely and very reasonable. We nearly didn't stop here but we're so glad we did and we plan to return on our next trip. So much more authentic than the mass produced suppliers nearby.
Sitecode: 14413
Great spacious aire right on the Loire. Plenty of grass to set up with awning. Short level stroll to small village. We only stayed one night but would return and stay longer. Would definitely recommend and felt very safe.
Sitecode: 8366
Lovely location alongside small marina and 5 min walk to small town. Good level cycle path to the beach. Lidl and Super U very close. Very relaxing and popular aire, ideal start/end to your holiday as only half an hour to UK crossings.
Sitecode: 24583
Small, immaculate site with great pitches. Shower block spotless. Quiet site with few facilities but very close to a cycle path into Taunton. Very relaxing. Helpful owners.
Sitecode: 21048
Great well laid out & clean and tidy aire with plenty of space to set up. We arrived late and all bays were full but there was still room to park in the aire. As mentioned previously, if you arrive through the village you have to enter through a narrow arch (max 2.5m wide, 3.3m high). Just take your time! Would definitely recommend a stop here.
Sitecode: 1209
Great relaxing spot alongside canal. 5 min walk to town. Grass and picnic benches. Would recommend a stop here. Lidl and bakers 500m away.
Sitecode: 13746
Excellent aire. Immaculate and free of charge. The owners have thought of everything - free water, electric, wifi, space for children to play, BBQ and covered table and chair area with fridge full of the proprietors reasonably priced wine. The wines are delicious! Just leave your money in an envelope. The proprietor leaves a selection in the fridge to help yourself and trusts you to leave the money! So relaxing. Would highly recommend in the Burgundy wine growing region.
Sitecode: 2376
Beautiful location alongside port (daily fish market), lovely beaches and great sea views. Some shops and restaurants walking distance. Good sized pitches - try to get an outside one to set up with sea views. Great sunrise and sunsets. Would definitely recommend and feels very safe.
Sitecode: 1879
Beautiful spot with good sized marked bays alongside river and lake "beach". Would recommend on sunny day to set up and relax in leisure area popular with families. Very old town a short stroll away; very picturesque setting.
Sitecode: 1681
Very quiet village with lovely aire surrounded by park. Free water & toilets. Sad but interesting cemetery alongside with 30 young SAS men and one American who were massacred on the same day in 1944 close by in the forest. Lots of space to pitch up and very quiet in Aug 15.
Sitecode: 1578
Great central location in the town next to Vezere river. Touristy town but beautiful with many shops and restaurants. Market here on Mondays.
Sitecode: 1509
Lovely relaxing spot where we stayed adjacent to river/cruise boats. Very close to a good range of shops in the town; level walks along the river. Would recommend on route to Loire.
Sitecode: 1151
Large aire in pretty, level location, only a few minutes walk from the numerous restaurants, cafes and town which is beautiful. The aire was packed in Aug 15 but still with reasonable pitches and most appeared to have electric. Would recommend a couple of nights here.
Sitecode: 2129
Across the road from a lovely sandy beach. Take a stroll along the path towards Trevignon to reach a few cafes/restaurants popular wit tourists and locals. A very relaxing spot ideal for a day on the beach and stop over.
Sitecode: 2161
Great location and town mixing old with the new - old town, new marina and lovely beaches. Ideal spot to pitch up for a few days. Great for cycling. There are 3 aires in Gruissan and this is our favourite location as it is convenient for the town, marina and then there is a lovely flat cycle path to the beach (where there is another aire).
Sitecode: 2443
Great location close to small, characterful town centre and right alongside pretty waterfront promenade with cafes, beach and cycle path.
Sitecode: 24589
Lovely location alongside a cycle path taking you to the picturesque village and beach. Owners continually improving site. A lovely find!
