Quiet, safe place to stop, not far from the tunnel. No facilities. The outdoor museum is well worth a visit too.

Quiet place to stop, tower with waste disposal and fresh water, you do need a male to male connection for the water. Montmorillon was disappointing, many shops closed and only two eateries open in the middle of July!

Site has been taken over by Camping-car park. Access with card, site is pleasant but all facilities have been shut down so there are no longer toilets and showers. There is now only a bourne tower for sanitary and grey waste disposal also fresh water.

Super campsite set in woodland with plenty of shade. Family friendly with lots for children to do but still quite quiet for older adults. Chemical toilet disposal but no grey waste disposal. Lovely swimming pool with a slide. Cafe bar that sells burgers and pizza in the evening, daily bread service. Sanitaries clean. Hosts were lovely, mainly French speaking but managed between us in English and French.

WOW! The view is indescribable. This is well worth the money, no there are no facilities apart from electricity and water but in a camper with everything onboard you don’t need them. The pitches have all been made level, a small number of longer pitches are available. 3 generations of the family run the place, all lovely, charming and friendly. The food at the restaurant is superb and very reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?

Second camper stop in a row of three! Quieter and a bit further from the road than the first one. We paid €22 for the night without electricity. Neat and tidy with new, very clean facilities. Just 1km walk, all on the flat to Fussen. The only downside is that you are packed in but there is a little space between vans and a grassy border to the site. Conveniently, supermarkets just over the road.

The best place to shop near Rothenberg ob der Tauber! It is understood that if you stop here that you will eat at the restaurant ( a bit like Britstops in England ) but this is no chore! The management at the hotel were lovely. We had an amazing meal in delightful surroundings and for a very reasonable price. We also had free electricity. The only downside is quite a lot of road noise so only 4 stars.

Super campsite with bistro serving pizza. Clean sanitary facilities, spacious area for campers. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We did unfortunately travel down the cobbled road and later discovered the easier route on leaving! Lovely campsite, Saarbrucken and immediate area is disappointing-some beautiful nature but much heavy industry!

This place does not exist! The co ordinates send you to a park at the back of a housing estate, over a pedestrian bridge!

Quite tricky to find but follow the signs for the nature reserve, just past the bins and follow the path round. The parking places are stunning, beautiful views over the water. There are two toilets, a restaurant that opens from 12 till 4.30 and a hide to observe the water birds- peaceful and relaxing. No facilities for water or cleaning out (or electricity) so 4 instead of 5 stars.

Just stopped 2 nights here. Plenty of room, 2 sections to car park- parking for 15 vans on grass, unlimited vans on the tarmac. Perfectly placed to visit Tintagel, right in the middle of town. £5 for a night and £5 for the day. Only problem was no car park attendant so we couldn’t empty our wc or fill up with water. It was still busy with about 25 vans despite the bad weather. Good food at the King Arthur pub but booking advisable.

The campsite is well situated to visit Chatillon sur Seine, a pleasant town. The pitches are level and nicely shaded, electricity is available and water near each site. The grey water and chemical toilet are together which is unusual but adequate. The reason for the 2 stars was the cleanliness of the ladies showers and toilets-very disappointing.

Great campsite! Location is 5* The swimming pool is lovely as is the village, which is right on the doorstep. Showers and toilets are dated but adequate. Pitches are large with water and electricity accessible at each pitch and shaded which is essential at this time of year. Only let down by the absence of grey waste and wc disposal but there are plenty of supermarkets with those facilities. Very quiet and peaceful, certainly value for money.

Stopped 1 night late June 23. Useful campsite, short walk to the city. Quite a bit of road noise. Facilities were fine but could do with cleaning a bit more regularly ( clumps of long black hair in 2 out of the three women’s showers) Manager was very friendly and helpful. Resident stork was cute!

Stopped late June 23. A great campsite right within the city, very steep walk in and out of the city but you can’t have everything! Being so close to such a tourist city it is expensive, 32 euros per night now with electricity but still value for money. Spacious level pitches with shade from trees. The chemical toilet emptying is a challenge to find, up the side of the house, to the right-over the grass-behind the covered games area!

July 23. This could be a great stopover, however we stopped for about an hour then decided to move on as we were surrounded by a group of people who were obviously living there semi-permanently-we felt very uncomfortable. We have stayed in places with travellers/fair folk previously and felt fine.

We have stayed here for two nights in July, a beautiful oasis in the hot July weather, level pitch with shade from trees. A lovely little bar that does food, occasional special nights. Small pool with a few sun beds but not busy. Sanitary facilities are older but spotlessly clean. We would definitely return if we are in this area. Receptionists don’t speak a lot of English, perfect opportunity to try your French!

Beautiful setting just outside the picturesque, medieval village. There is a cycle path/walkway just opposite the camping area set in parkland, alongside the Sarthe river. Good level pitches with plenty of room for even the largest of vehicles/trailers- on gravel, surrounded by grass. Free emptying and filling.
