great place for a 1 night stop over - big space, around 10 motorhomes there when we arrived, feels safe, a short walk in to Alnwick where there are some nice cafes, lovely big castle, 2nd largest in the UK! Car park is on a slope. Some motorhomers left big bags of rubbish behind 😡 not a good look for us lot. Enjoy the space but leave no trace 😊

Lovely quiet place for a stopover - we actually stayed 2 nights as it was so nice. We drove to the top of the car-park, right at the back out of the way, flood lights lit up the area at night, there are bins but no other facilities. Ate at the cafe, best burger and frites all holiday! organic bread, made on the premises. Fabulous walks all around, great for the dogs. 🐶 👍

Good stopover for a night, easy to enter- felt safe! short walk to the pretty lake, however there is only a small plage which is open to the public, there is a big sign saying no this, no that, no anything! I wonder if you can breathe on there?? However, a lovely dog walk along the river path in to the village Nice bakery for fresh bread . Friendly locals, quiet and peaceful night, great that the municipal has provided this facility 👍 Thank-you

great campsite for an overnight stop, the chateau in the village is worth a look, the village is small but nice! a lovely short walk through a woodland path from the campsite - great hot showers! great WiFi signal! lovely friendly owner who liked our dogs 😊

we had a very peaceful overnight stop here, we were the only ones and at night the gate closes and you feel very safe! The traffic noise was minimal as was the trains - we had a lovely lunch in the bistro and bought some delicious wine! very friendly and hospitable hosts - the car park was flat, no amenities at all, but free and safe to stop. Just to note, they close at 5pm on a Wednesday! Really recommended 👍

a great place for a stopover in between italy and France -easy to find, on a roundabout, photos are accurate - perfectly safe, security cameras, well maintained, electricity, water included - all great! peaceful nights sleep Pay cash, no cards Nice manager, really friendly who brought us some tasty focaccia bread in the morning around 8.30 plenty of room for our dogs to sniff around really recommend for a safe nights stopover! 👍

Get there early and queue as it’s very busy and very popular!! The reception ladies are lovely and friendly, and clean sanitary facilities. Only problem was some of the other camper people - if you have a dog then beware, they shout at you if you’re dog has a pee inside the campsite , very rude campers who made us feel uncomfortable, how can you stop a dog from peeing I ask ??? however, the actual campsite, and the Italian people welcomes dogs.

fabulous safe and secure place to stay, the owners are very kind and friendly and it has a really good vibe 😊Lots of space for our dogs, and for once on our camper tour they can have a wee on the grass without anybody getting upset! Relaxing environment with beautiful facilities, everywhere is so clean and tidy, lovely family business who really care about their customers Highly recommend, you will be so happy here xx

fabulous campsite! Surrounded by woodland and mountains, the Sleeping Witch mountain is right there! great facilities, hot water, hot showers, very friendly reception guy who spoke very good English. The 841 bus goes from just outside the campsite to lovely Berchtesgaden, you can also visit the beautifulLake Konigssee - we wanted to go on the ferry ride but if you have dogs they have to be muzzled (we wouldn’t do that) spacious pitches, fab! 🙌

great campsite for an overnight stop, very peaceful at night, friendly reception, the owner spoke good English - We had ACSI card so paid €19, plus 2 dogs another €6, nice walks all around - only downside, we took our dogs to the river and unfortunately one of them had a poo which we picked up immediately- a very angry gesticulating man who was in a motorhome took it upon himself to shout and be aggressive about our dogs - spoiled it somewhat.

large car-park - ticket system is straight forward; 1. drive to barrier 2. take card from machine 3. go and park 4. go to the ticket kiosk and insert your card 5. add euros to your account (we added €10 euros as we wanted showers, electricity, water on exit; 1. take your card to ticket kiosk and insert 2. Press ‘pay for camping’ - this will add the €14 euros for the night plus any other spending for showers etc 3. insert card exit barrier

A great place (and felt very safe) to stay for visiting beautiful Bruges - right next to the river and only a 5 minute walk in to Bruges. Water costs €0.50 for 50 litres 👍The only downside is that spaces are narrow, we returned from a walk to find somebody had bashed in to our wing mirror - other than that it’s fabulous and worth the €€ 👍

absolutely stunning surroundings! lovely couple who own the restaurant, so welcoming and friendly! good home cooked food (menu uploaded) Cash only for food! we had so much fun meeting other campervanners at dinner time, so friendly and lots of beer! we had a lovely walk up into the woods with our dog, then did a circular walk back to the restaurant where we were parked. Highly recommend, you must visit!! 🍻👌

fantastic car-park, level spaces, plenty of room in October, 10min walk to Bruges centre through the park opposite the camper park. On entry take ticket and pay at the payment machine which is over at the coach park. Then just put your ticket in to the barrier machine. we arrived at 5pm and left at 12am the next day after a little culture and sightseeing around beautiful Bruges and it cost €19 - bargain!

quiet and flat, very quiet peaceful night, you can walk in to the village, however there was nothing open when we visited. small well- stocked supermarket (carrefour) a short walk away and a petrol station right next to it. There was a toilet but it was poorly maintained and dirty, the chemical toilet waste was extremely dirty with no rinsing tap. Fresh water available and grey waste dump. castle car park next to a river which nice for dog walk

great location but lost 2 stars due to 1. very slopes, needed chocs 2. half full of travellers with caravans and vans who had parked irresponsibly making it difficult to park, they put cars in the way :-( BUT… a quiet night, could even hear the waves crashing as you are so close to a beautiful beach area, just stunning There was no fee as the barrier seemed to be permanently open

31/01/2022 arrived around 8.30pm and there were lots of campers which is so reassuring and made us feel safe, brilliant spot to stay over the night, safe, quiet and with the added bonus of drinking water, grey water waste and toilet waste facility - right across the road is Burger King, Macdonalds, Lidl, fuel station with cheaper fuel than the motorway, lovely little town to grab a coffee about 30 mins walk away Fantastic! Thanks Valdepenas 😎

Oct 21 - small car park which isn’t really suitable for large motorhomes We parked lengthways (across the car bays) which was ok as it was a quiet time of the year, toilets ok with toilet paper but no hot water. Outside water tap was working. Fabulous little village, the pub opposite was lovely, a cosy log fire, dog friendly, good food, friendly staff. We had a quiet night sleep, no problem, great breakfast place called The Bothy, dogs allowed :)

great spot for an overnight stop, quiet with toilets, which had toilet paper, soap and hot water! we have a 7.5m van and parked where the coaches park, which was nice and flat. There is also an amazing bridge there in the village centre, apparently the oldest stone bridge in the highlands (see photo) Not much open coffee shop wise at this time of year, but a couple of hotels that accept non residents I’m guessing it will all be open in season

Positives: sanitary block clean and close to the Eurotunnel (30 min) Not so good: cafe bar was closed, dog area closed, indoor recreation closed The site was full of Irish travellers, this didn’t bother us apart from large groups of men congregating outside the shower and toilet block at night, they were loud and put us off using the that area The barrier is supposed to open at 6am, we had to go but couldn’t get out, had to phone the owners! :(

lovely place to stay, quiet at night, large flat hardcore spaces, electricity was possible, no water though. It seemed that the gray water waste was doubling as a chemical toilet Really beautiful little village surrounded by pretty countryside - we would recommend 😊

Excellent campsite, HUGE pitches, the cleanest sanitary block we have ever seen on a campsite! The owners are lovely, very accommodating, speak perfect English - water and electricity on our pitch, set within woodland, so quiet at night, just the owls. Their is a heated pool and also, just a10 minute walk through the woods is a beautiful swimming lake just near the village. Lovely, we will return :-)

Fantastic parking place, had free electricity (10 amp)free water, toilet dump, toilets nearby which are part of a new sports complex. There are 3 pitches in total, on hard standing and flat - one thing to mention, there is an arch at the entrance to the chateau grounds that you have to drive through, we got through in our 3 metre tall and 2.3 metre wide. Nice bar and restaurant in the village, and bakery. Very quiet night, only the owls :)

Was advertised at €14.60 but we were charged €18.60, I think for the dog maybe! - large pitches, facilities outdated and shabby, place looks quite scruffy but it’s quiet at night and feels safe unlike the lake parking where we originally were going to stay. We wouldn’t come this way again, far nicer places to stay.

We arrived here too late, about 6.30pm - it was absolutely packed! The vans were so closely packed together that doors could barely open to get in or out. Added to this the Campercontact directions to get there took us on narrow lanes with stone walls which our 2.3 metre wide van could only just squeeze through - all together NOT recommended and very disappointed. The photo suggests it is quiet - definitely not in September! We drove on.

We love staying here, the location is excellent, Duingt is so much calmer and nicer than Annecy, large pitches, lots of privacy, toilets and showers clean, a little expensive but the tranquillity and views of the mountains are amazing! cycle path right outside, and you can also get the bus for €1.50. Municipal beach less than a km with a really handy cafe that serves good food/coffee/beer Beautiful swimming in the lake :-)

This is just a car park at a sports complex and college. Its great if you have a large vehicle like us as there is a lot of space to park - no facilities but free! The car park is full from early morning and during the day as it’s where the college students park, we arrived about 8pm and lots of space. Very safe, brightly lit, a few Macdonald eaters with base booming out of their cars a bit later on, but they were gone by 11pm and were no bother

This was a stop for us after travelling through the Eurotunnel, there was a lorry parked in the designated facility area so we parked at the side and back of LeClerc supermarket car park - it was nice and flat, and quiet throughout the night, although it did full up with Le Clerc staff in the morning it was no bother. Very handy for a morning shop and petrol top up before the rest of the journey. Very safe, would recommend

Very busy in day, lots of noise at night from students, safe place to stay though- old town about a 3 mile walk, walk past the lake for the best way to old town, difficult to find unless you have google maps.

We didn’t stay, we only had a small amount of water and had previously emptied toilet so didn’t need that facility. We parked for an hour waiting for the shop to open as it was closed for lunch, when we left we were accosted by an hysterical German women asking if we had stayed or used the facilities - She said we had to pay €5, we said the app said it was free, she said it was wrong - very bad
