Since 2026, it has been called Camping Lausanne. Includes a free public transport card. Lausanne is easily accessible by bus 24 and the metro. Cycle path along the lake via the back exit. Sanitary facilities are old but clean. Friendly welcome, but note that it is closed between 12 and 3. There is space for camping to park in advance.

So wonderfully quiet and a fantastic view. Checking in on the upper terrace next to the beautiful sanitary facilities is done via a machine that has already registered your license plate. A nice bike ride via the small ferry at the end of the peninsula, along the shore on the other side via an easy-to-ride forest path with beautiful views, and along the treetop path to the dam. From there, back along a wide cycle path beside the lake. We took the sightseeing boat halfway (bikes are allowed on board).

Beautiful, quiet spot as described, stayed fine for 2 nights. Only poor internet reception, but free WiFi at the entrance to the rock formations if needed. Being without it for a bit is actually quite nice.

Great, quiet spot without amenities, but with a restaurant where we ate well (and cheaply). Even if you don't have online tickets but do have your bike, you can see a lot from the outside. Cycled around Birkenau.

Great place with good bus connections to Zakopane and cable cars. Is the owner a busybody? No! He is very helpful, wants to please everyone, and is protective of his place. And he is good-natured.

Built-in campsite, friendly welcome. The approach via industrial train suggests otherwise. Not a campsite for a week, but perfectly fine for exploring the city. Tram 400 meters away. On October 5, 2025, we paid €24 for a campervan for two people, including electricity.

NOTE...put Vence in your navigation system first, then the campsite! This saves a lot of steering through elevated residential areas and narrow forest roads. A lovely campsite that exudes tranquility. Friendly staff. On September 30th, we paid €25 with ACSI for 2 adults, campervan, and electricity.

11-05-25 stood here. what a peace. beautiful place feels safe.. payment poles are still there but not in function. grey water closed. discharge point covered. But we don't need that. we are alone. beautiful surroundings.
