A very pretty little campsite next to a small private brewery with excellent beers (4 x 0.2L tasting for just under €10) and food. Water and waste disposal and overnight stays are free, as are showers and toilets. Friendly owners, bakery diagonally across the street. Location: directly opposite the police station.

Very nicely situated, a mix of grass and gravel next to a children's playground and a lovely natural swimming pool. Electricity is available for a fee, overnight stays are free, and general waste disposal is provided.

Parking space in an industrial area, a shabby gravel lot. An outrageous €24 just for parking. Water and waste disposal are free.

A sports venue plagued by immense environmental destruction. Overnight stays on gravel pitches with approximately 50% shade, including waste disposal and fresh water, cost €23 (as of September 2026). Electricity is charged an additional €0.50 per kWh. Those with good batteries or solar panels are fortunate.

A run-down campsite between the sea (4 km) and Lac d'Hourtin (2.2 km, 7 minutes by bike). Shaded in the evenings. 17:02 on July 6, 2026. However, Camping-Car Park is very opaque. Two bookings are charged instead of one; the exact amount and date are not visible. The account balance before and after booking would show a total of €20 for this campsite. I would immediately close my account with a bank that billed like this.

Parking space located at the harbor with partial shade. The price in June 2026 was €11.85, plus €2 for 4 minutes of water (approx. 80 liters). Pretty place; the Regulus Caves (Grottes de Regulus) are recommended (€8.70), about a 20-minute walk. A small lock bridge leads to a row of restaurants and bars (2-3 minutes).

Now part of the Camping-Car-Park group. The parking area has the charm of a junkyard, but is located on the banks of the Charente River and within walking distance of Cognac's old town. This means you can put your camping chair right by the Charente in the evening. Cost in June 2026: €15.86 per 24 hours.

The campsite is located approximately 300 meters from a rather unattractive beach. Between the campsite and the beach, the forest and dunes have been destroyed by a holiday home development. The campsite itself offers little shade and appears poorly maintained.
