Nothing in the positive reviews is a lie. Nice bathrooms, spacious pitches, great location, and super helpful staff. The shuttle bus to the ferry is fantastic: dogs are allowed on board. We extended our stay and stayed for three nights. This was our longest stay during our three-week vacation. Highly recommended.

I find other reviews quite positive. Yes, the location is fine and the men at the reception are friendly and helpful. The pitches are quite spacious. That is about it. You cannot sit outside because there are far too many mosquitoes. And yes, as a campsite, you could do something about that. At other campsites, this was actually done. The sanitary facilities are appalling. Holding the shower head, cubicles that are too small, lots of insects. The camper pitch at the marina is better.

Great location, close to the beach. Bakery in the morning, restaurant on the campsite but also by the beach. We stayed at two different spots. We wanted to stay two nights, but upon arrival there was only one spot available for one night. The reception was very helpful and offered to let us move to a different spot the next morning. Do use the new sanitary facilities, though. The old building leaves something to be desired.

We received a friendly welcome at the gate. The reception wasn't so great. It is nice to be able to choose your own spot. You definitely need the blocks, though. We parked near the exit so the dog had plenty of space. Unfortunately, there was some road noise there. The restaurant is fine, but dogs aren't allowed inside, so we ate outside. We drove from the campsite to the nature park because dogs aren't allowed on the shuttle bus. Parking is fine there. Just make sure to leave on time. We arrived around 9:00 AM.

We drove past and asked about availability. What a friendly welcome! We were allowed to walk around and pick out a spot, then check in and go to our pitch. We chose a premium spot by the lake. Really great. The water was a bit too cold for me, but it would have been lovely a month earlier to be able to walk straight into the water from your spot. The sanitary facilities were also top-notch. Only the restaurant was a bit of a disappointment.

As has already been written, the location is great, as is the food in the restaurant. The restrooms are okay, but could be a bit better for the price. A spot was assigned. You really have to stand on blocks there. Tight spots and everything full, which made it seem a bit too crowded to me. A nice place to visit Salzburg, but I found one night to be fine.

It is a fine campsite. The sanitary facilities, in particular, are top-notch. The price is indeed relatively expensive, but you are in a ski village where prices are usually higher. Nice location, as it is close to the lifts with nice eateries, and near the marina and Landal. Not four stars, because for this type of campsite I had expected a bit more welcome and assistance from the reception. I had to ask for everything myself. The restaurant was also closed, despite other reports on the website.

I second the earlier reviews: a fine campsite. The food in the restaurant is simple, but the service is very nice if you arrive a bit later in the day. Friendly welcome, by the way. The pitches are sloping, but this can be resolved with blocks. It is nice that you can choose your own spot. Cycling to Marienbad is easy, especially the route with mainly cycle paths. We were with our dog, and then the roads through the suburbs are too busy.

A great place to stay overnight. We arrived late afternoon on Sunday and there was still plenty of room. However, no restaurants nearby were open. On the other side, near the historic center, there is more, but that was too far for us to do by bike and dog. 15 euros for one night including electricity. Everything is available except for sanitary facilities. We paid online because there is no caretaker present on Sundays.
