What a lovely, relaxed campsite. Yes, there are no marked pitches, so sometimes it can happen that someone else is pitched a bit closer to you, but we found it to be very informal. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and have shower curtains, but that fits perfectly with this campsite. It was clean and the water was nice and warm. The restaurant is cozy, they play great music, and the fire pit is lit every evening. Walking to Kobarid is fantastic!

If you really want peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings, this is the place to be. Very friendly owner, nice, clean sanitary facilities. Everything is explained well; you arrange the electricity yourself via a cabinet. A lovely, authentic Bavarian restaurant is about a 15-minute walk away. Dine with a view of the cows in the mountains. Plenty of hiking opportunities. Highly recommended!

Back to the Netherlands, stayed here for 1 night. What a beautiful place. We stood by the river and were allowed to choose the spot ourselves. It wasn't busy either so that was possible, but I understand that sometimes it isn't possible. But I liked all the places. Friendly staff and the tavern was now closed for renovation but I think it will look beautiful when it is finished. No WiFi, no problem. 4G was fine. We will be back!
