Stayed overnight for the Roegwold Festival. A wonderful spot for campers who actually want to be surrounded by nature, but since that's not permitted, this is an excellent alternative at a reasonable price.

Beautiful spot on the water with rustling trees in the wind. Toilet, shower and place for washing dishes now available. Lovely to cool off in the water in the heat of the past few days. This spot is one of my top favorites

Beautiful place in the Fryske Wâlden between Buitenpost and Kollum. A day of wandering in the Kruidhof, the hortus of Fryslân, but also cycling in the area. The camper place neatly maintained, the toilet is a pleasure to sit down with a Libelle or other magazine. At the entrance a bookcase to read a book. This place radiates peace and simplicity.

No drinking water at this time of year. Shower water but looks very yellow. There is a lot of construction going on which gives a messy impression. A quiet night may well be possible. We drove on, looking for good drinking water.

Beautiful place also in winter. Fresh water is now closed.

Beautiful place. In winter we stand under the trees on the campsite itself. Good sanitary facilities with washing machine and dryer. € 11.84 including electricity and tax.

Nice place for a free night and walk to Elburg. Two places with shade under trees. Next day stood for lunch immediately left over the bridge at the boat ramp in the shade under the trees. Has a barrier in front, but it usually seems to be open.
