I was looking for a quiet spot for the night and I found it here. With drizzly weather and semi-darkness upon arrival, it looked rather sad in the evening. The next morning, after a wonderfully quiet night, the sun was shining and then I got a completely different picture. It is a beautiful harbor that offers a lovely view from the camper. I was here for a stopover, but this seems like a nice place to come back to.

These are beautiful campervan sites. Hedges between the pitches provide extra privacy. Payment via the provided envelopes works perfectly. Friendly manager. Nice area for walking the dog. Home delivery initially arrived at the manager's door, but luckily they forwarded it :-)

About 60 years ago, I lived near Leekstermeer lake. I was in the area now, so I thought it would be nice to spend a night there with my campervan and grab a bite to eat. That turned out to be a good choice. It's a beautiful campsite, with excellent facilities and friendly staff, both on the phone for reservations and in the restaurant. This location is definitely worth another visit.
