The Belgian owners are really trying their best to make something of it. However, there is still a lot to do: most pitches are quite sloped, and the lighting at the stairs to the sanitary facilities is very minimal. When it rains, it is slippery due to the pebbles and falling leaves (we were here at the end of September). Fine for 1 or 2 nights. The restaurant is cozy and the food (the owner cooks himself) was really good! 4 stars as encouragement to keep going!

A beautiful site; personally, I like being able to pick out my own spot. However, I experienced it differently at this campsite. I got the impression that at one point there were absolutely no spots left, so people kept driving around. We only stayed one night ourselves, so it wasn't that dramatic, but we did need a double plug from the reception. The Loire and the immediate surroundings – especially due to the drought – are not really appealing.

Overall a nice campsite in a super quiet area. There were only 5 campers in total and the grounds were being extensively renovated, including the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, the bar and bread service were closed at the end of September, but there is a bakery in a neighboring village. We were there on Sunday and it was closed. We only stayed here for one night. If you like peace and space, this is highly recommended.

We ended up here at the end of September because our favorite spot elsewhere was (over)full. The journey there was already fun: we unexpectedly ended up on a ferry that takes you across from the German side of the Rhine to the French side for free. What a lovely atmosphere at this campsite, and beautiful spots. For motorhomes, there are a number of paved pitches surrounded by grass and hedges. Sanitary facilities are good, though the showers and toilets are upstairs. Swimming lake lovely; water slides closed.

What a lovely place this is to stay; in our case, 1 year F 2 nights while passing through. This was the 3rd time. Significant investments have been made in new sanitary facilities in the meantime. And the digital check-in and check-out were also new to us, very well organized! The surroundings are beautiful and charming. In short, the price-quality ratio is excellent; we are happy with this nice spot.
